The hotel’s location was excellent—very central and just a few blocks from El Ángel de la Independencia. However, the staff was extremely unfriendly, and the hotel had a strict policy that did not allow guests to bring friends or any visitors to their rooms. Not staying here again.

I just stayed overnight and left very early nut the room was spotless. The staff were very courteous when I arrived and when I left everything in the room was set in place and I did not have to call for anything. The location is excellent, so I could not ask for anything better.

The location is great! I walked to many great locations near by. I would definitely stay here again just because of the location. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe. If you are used to the hotels in the US, you would definitely feel like the hotel room is very basic. I personally did not mind it since I was out and about daily.

Pros:

* Excellent location: Very close to major attractions.
* Tour friendly: Most local tour groups met right near the property.

Cons:

* Sparse rooms: The accommodations felt bare, barely matching the quality of a standard budget motel.
* Strict towel rationing: The front desk refused to provide more than two towels, despite multiple requests.
* Flawed bathroom design: The walk-in shower only had a half-glass pane. Water continuously flooded the bathroom floor during every shower.
* Dry-up dilemma: Having only two towels meant choosing between drying ourselves or mopping up the flooded floor.
* Unhelpful staff: The front desk personnel were unsupportive and indifferent to our requests.

Summary:
While the location is highly convenient for sightseeing, the lack of basic amenities and unhelpful service make it hard to recommend. Unless location is your only priority, you may want to look elsewhere.

Stay with multiple issues the hotel failed to resolve.
In the first room I was assigned, the air conditioning broke down as soon as I walked in. They moved me to a second room, but there I found burnt-out lights and an A/C unit that was constantly leaking water. I reported the problems, but they were never able to fix them during my stay.
I understand that things can break, but I expected at least the second room to be in proper condition, or for the hotel’s response to be more effective. For the price paid and what is advertised, the experience fell short.
I would not recommend this hotel until they improve room maintenance and their ability to respond to guest complaints.

mode same of old concierne guy,
House keeping ladys provided an exceptional service same as the lunch ladys,

It’s a very good area, near the Angel. I felt very safe walking at night. There’s always someone selling tacos in the corner. The staff were very attentive especially the cleaning staff. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in Mexico City.

Great location a couple blocks from the Angel of Independence. Located in a very vibrant and lively neighborhood. Lots to see and do within walking distance, with many restaurants options and shopping. I've stayed in this zone a few different times but this will be my last stay at this particular hotel. There's really nothing overly wrong with the hotel per se, but the room resembled a hospital room. Very impersonable and cold. Nothing inviting about it whatsoever. Some cracked and chipped floor tiles, a tiny little wall mount TV you can barely see from the bed with very limited channel selection. Simply unappealing room overall. I stayed one night out of a 4 night booking and booked a different hotel after the first night. The price was reasonable, so if you're just looking for a place to sleep, this place is probably fine, but there are way better options in the immediate vicinity.

It's a great hotel that's close to the main avenues in the city and is very accessible through public transportation. Area is pretty safe, from what we saw. Staff was very attentive, although it's kind of hard to reach them through 3rd party platforms so it's better to contact the hotel directly. Property was very clean, and they come through and service the room every day. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is very old and in need of significant renovations. We were quite concerned about the condition of the bathroom, especially the toilet, which was broken and seemed unsafe to use.

The beds were comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were not as accommodating.

The room phone did not work properly, and the hotel charges for local calls, which was unexpected. The location is excellent, but the property itself requires a lot of maintenance.

To make matters worse, there were insects in the shower area.

The night when we are right the reception is that check our reservation she was very unprofessional it was raining we have a car and we asked for parking and she told us that they have parking but since the room was for one person we cannot park in there property I was trying to explain her that the reservation was made for two persons but she just ignore us the property is nice but they need to train their stuff better because she doesn't with customer service I read her zero I'm very disappointed..

Can’t say enough about this place. We stayed for 6 days here and it was amazing. I’m the heart of many great sites in Mexico City. About a 5 minute walk from the angel of Independence. The hotel is clean and rooms are cleaned on the daily. The staff was beyond amazing, especially the bar and dining staff. I highly recommend this place great stay for an amazing price. Will definitely visit again

Unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to the expectations of its high ratings. It was incredibly noisy - you could hear the TV in neighboring rooms and the doors closing made more noise than any hotel I've stayed in. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. And the room smelled incredibly strong like cleaning solution - and there was only a tiny window to try to air the room out. The hotel appeared to have a beautiful courtyard, but the staff said it could not be accessed. We ended up leaving a day early.

The hotel is well located. Two blocks from Paseo de la Reforma Avenue. A lot of restaurants, drugs stores and convenience stores nearby.

The pillows are not so good but in general is a good place for a short visit to Mexico City.

As a hotels.com VIP member they “upgraded” me to a suite but didn’t tell me they were doing a bunch of construction on the other rooms on the floor. There was a very strong paint and vinyl smell that came in through the vents and made me nauseous at times.

When I asked the front desk about it they made excuses rather than simply finding a way to help out. Sometimes all we want is to feel like our concerns are being heard and understood, and I did not get that from them. I shouldn’t have to be the one to find a solution or waste my vacation time having to address hotel problems.

Soy un cliente asiduo del hotel, sin embargo en esta oportunidad quedé muy decepcionado.
La última habitación que asignaron el lavamanos estaba con problemas el desagüe estaba tapado. Adicional el colchón de la cama en mal estado cualquier movimiento rechinaba.
Tendrán que ser más cuidadosos y darle el mantenimiento respectivo a las habitaciones

Good location but be aware the. Noise This is not from outside. We could not figure out why we could clearly hear our neighbors. Seemed like they were in same room . We then noted that we shared a window and there was a little gap between the rooms. That is I could pass notes if I wanted to that is why I can clearly hear all conversations. It was very loud and I cannot sleep without my AirPods. My husband had to stuff our jackets in the crack in the window every night to get some muffling. Also, the beds are very hard. I am not that picky and I had to lay out pillows and make a pillow top mattress in someway. The faucet leaked in the bathroom, but not to the point where it caused extreme puddling. Shower was good. I did not eat breakfast. Good elevators. I would not stay here again. Staff was adequate and not overly friendly nor did they ask how everything was through our 6 nights. Honestly, the only reason I stayed was because it was prepaid.

La experiencia no fue buena debido a que me asignaron una habitación en un piso donde estaban remodelando varias habitaciones, en la noche había un olor muy fuerte de algún químico, pintura o pegamento que era imposible estar en la habitación, me cambiaron de habitación pero considero que es muy peligroso este tipo de situaciones donde ponen en riesgo la salud de uno

This hotel has clean and nice rooms and it’s located in a good area. I appreciated having plenty of hot water and strong water pressure from the shower every day, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only negative was that my room was on floor 1 and I heard a lot of street noise in the morning, but that is not the hotel’s fault as cdmx is a busy and loud city.

The hotel is very conveniently located and safe - it was just around the block from the artisan market, tacqueria orinoco and a couple nice breakfast spots which I walked to daily. It was also close to a club I went to when Yellowclaw played. It is also close to the Angel of Independence so the transportation for the hot air balloon tour was able to pick me up. The staff is very polite and I want to mention Isaac who helped me with my bags when I first got there. I would say that the walls are very thin and you can hear even when the water is running in the other room lol but it didn’t bother me much. My room was by the street side and it can get loud at night so if this bothers you, probably request a room on the quieter side. Overall I would stay here again!

Great location, wonderful bed and bedding but there was no coffee in room and it's nearly impossible to get good coffee anywhere in the neighborhood before 7 a.m. or late at night. Maybe even a self serve coffee machine in the lobby? I admit to being a coffee addict but this alone will keep me from returning to this hotel.

Clean pleasant room. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant. I only ate there once but it was late the food was good and the service excellent. There is a store and a pharmacy practically next door and a great cafe around the corner. (Miga Cafe). It quickly felt like my home away from home. Highly recommend it. Dont expect fluent English. Learn some Spanish. You will be glad you did.

I absolutely loved my stayed at Hotel PF, it is in a prime location, just minutes away from the Angel de independencia and insurgentes metro station.we got a real nice and clean room on the 10th floor. the staff was very friendly all the time.
