The hotel was conveniently located near several places to shop and eat. It was clean and had kitchen equipment available, which made it easy to prepare something if needed. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast, since it wasn’t very varied and it was the same every day.

The room was clean and staff at the breakfast is excellent. We asked for an extra blanket at the front desk 3 times but they never sent it. Next day, we saw a cleaning lady and asked for a blanket. She sent it to us right away.

Property is under construction, doors and walls are paper thin. Could hear them at 7AM starting work everyday. Very poor construction of the shower, it leaked everywhere. Not enough towels provided to be able to clean it up. You have to request breakfast vouchers every single day, front desk didn’t even look at me when requesting. When redeeming the ‘breakfast buffet’, had the option of one pancake or cereal, fruit or jello, scrambled eggs or chilaquiles. That was the menu everyday. Cleaning staff was very friendly, location is great with many restaurant options close by. As is metro stop ‘Insurgentes’ is just a five minute walk, Angel de Independencia is a seven minute walk. A central area for sightseeing pickups.

The stay was very nice! Suites concept, spacious rooms with all the amenities and included a light continental breakfast too.
The stuff at front desk was very friendly amd professional, and front desk agent, Martin, who helped us was great!
Located just 5-6 min walk Angel de Independencia, 10 min walk to Parque Mexico y Parque Espania. Tucked between 3 nicest neighborhoods of Roma Norte, where this hotel is, Reforma and Condesa, which is very trendy with shops, bars and restaurants.
Overall great experience!

Very clean; decent breakfast; helpful staff except for bad habit of hanging up on the phone if they didn’t speak English. Nice location except on big street with lots ofnoisy traffic all the time.
Overall, very good value for relatively inexpensive hotel in that area. Would happily stay there again

I stayed here for four nights in November 2025 and was very disappointed with the overall condition and service. The room I was checked into at 3 p.m. was not ready: no toilet paper, towels, or bath mat, and the floor was dusty with small metal pieces. After I reported it, the front desk staff was cold and only gave me one roll of toilet paper, saying towels would come the next day because the laundry was closed. The room was poorly maintained: dim lighting, one broken bedside light, a damaged toilet seat, paint-stained curtains, and no kitchenette as shown in the listing photos. Soundproofing was minimal, with hallway and street noise throughout the night, and the Wi-Fi was so slow that even Google Maps barely loaded. The worst part was when the hotel mistakenly deactivated my key and threw away my toiletries and unopened drinks a day before check-out, then denied any responsibility. The Roma Norte location is convenient, but given the price, misleading photos, and poor maintenance, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Arrived at the hotel got my key card went to room, it was dirty and not cleaned came back an hour later it was cleaned, didn’t receive water even though I asked , tv was all in Spanish when asked if they could change it the answer was no. In the description the hotel was sound proofed which it is not, and the building itself shook several times. The hotel was under construction, not mentioned anywhere on the site. And I booked a balcony room but was basically told too bad. Would not stay here ever again. Customer service was terrible

One of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The beds were rock hard, the pillows felt like they were stuffed with cheap scraps, and the bathroom had mold everywhere. On top of that, the staff was rude and unhelpful. Absolutely not worth the money. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free.

Tercera vez que me quedo acá en Block. Habitaciones muy cómodas, buena limpieza. Lugar muy céntrico, cerca de transporte, áreas para caminar, a pesar de que es céntrico se descansa muy bien. 100 puntos. Quisiera nada más hacer una observación, que esta vez que me quede, y por lo general me despierto sobre las 10am., se escuchaba en el pasillo la Radio de comunicación interna del hotel, y si el ruido se escuchaba dentro de la habitación causando algo de molestias sugeriría que lo tengan a menos volumen o usar head set… todo lo demás es excelente, lo recomiendo.

Nice hotel in convenient location to many attractions. Clean. Comfy bed. Plenty of plugs for charging. Everything worked. My room was next to the main road but traffic noise was tolerable. There were electrical issues one particular day with the only elevator being out of service for a while. Half the hotel is being renovated; power outage due to construction. As a vegetarian I didnʻt try included breakfast on 7th floor. Would stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the air conditioning was okay. Everything was walkable distance. A few blocks away from Angel de Independencia. The only thing I didn't like is the breakfast. In my opinion its not worth paying extra. Portions are super small and they run out of juice and milk by 9am both days we were there. No way for my kids to eat cereal without milk. Im not exaggerating but the portions of a toast we got it was 1/8 of a piece of toast. They cut it onto 4 triangles then cut those triangles in half. Also, our toilet got clogged the first night and nobody was available to fix it. They told us they will fix it the next morning and that didn't happen so we had to go to the 7th floor to everytime we needed to use the restroom until we checked out basically 2 days later. It was never fixed.

The hotel was very nice the service was very good. The parking into the garage is very tight for big cars I have a Buick Enclave SUV and it barely fit. There was some loud music coming from next door and they brought us up some earplugs didn't help a lot but it was a nice gesture. I would consider staying there again.

The Hotels.com description says that this room is soundproof and that is the farthest from the truth. You can hear everything from every room around you and in the hallway as well. They even have a sign in the room that says you can request ear plugs. The beds were ok but the pillows were the worst I've ever experienced and we literally just stuffed with a polyester material that wasn't even covered other than the pillowcase. The sink loses pressure after a few seconds of being on and then makes a hammering sound. Most of the reception staff do not speak English so I had to use a translator a lot. The towels are falling apart. The showerhead doesn’t give a lot of water as well. Cleaning staff were super polite and helpful. The cleaning lady was nice to change my sheets as the ones on arrival had stains on them. The room description says it has a washer and dryer which is also not true.

Is a nice place for a long stay as it a bit larger than a regular hotel room and it feels more like an apartment due to the fact it has a separate area for dinner and a kitchenette, also a plus is the fact that the hotel has washer and dryer machines in the basement in case you need to do laundry.

The place is always noisy due to hotel construction of new half of hotel. We heard the person above us pace the floor at night with their shoes on for a month. You can hear the people talking in the hallway and the rooms next to you. There is no smoking anywhere in the building even balconies and rooftop lounge areas. The building will sway back and forth every once in a while like a mini earthquake.

Great location and value but when arrived we did not have hand towels nor courtesy water. The next day we left the room before 2 pm to go eat and when we got back the room had not been cleaned. We called reception and we got a bad attitude person saying that the room had not been cleaned because we did not leave the room before noon (???) we told her the cleaning personnel was working on the room next door when we left but she insisted that because we were in the room last noon that’s why we did not get the service. Mind you, from 12 to 3 pm is cleaning time for check outs.

I had paid the upgraded fee for a bigger room with a king bed but was told at check in I would be a smaller room with two queen beds because the room with the king bed was given out already. No other explanation nor incentive, then the same receptionist who checked me in called me this morning at 11:45am to rush me to vacate my room even though checkout is at 12pm. I accidentally left my room key in the card reader and he literally made me go back upstairs to get it if not I’d be charged extra. He had passive aggressive behavior and not very welcoming. My last stay at this property unfortunately:(

This property was one of my most challenging experiences. Upon checking in, the front desk attendant exhibited a lack of courtesy and failed to greet me. Additionally, the attendant’s inability to assist with luggage storage hindered my convenience.
The majority of the staff members do not speak English, which made it difficult for me to obtain essential items such as paper towels and napkins. It appeared that my request was deliberately disregarded.
Furthermore, the showerhead was inadequate in terms of water pressure and flow, making it challenging to obtain a satisfactory wash.
The toilet was not functional, and the flushing mechanism was not operational.
The hairdryer was also inoperable.
The provision of laundry access for guests was deemed unnecessary.

Staff unwelcoming. 1st room given smelled like cigarettes, told the receptionist offered to add a scent. I asked for another room it was intolerable. Bedding was dirty, pillow dark stains, outlets dirty, tv remote not working. Went down again to service desk, she looked at me like I was out of my mind. Pulls out a drawer and says Oh I don’t have batteries but I will take one from a room. Mind you the remote was taped broken. Toilet seat dirty.Breakfast buffet lady very rude, sees we are a bigger group and says: juice or fruit for ea. So if you chose fruit you cannot have juice. Only luke warm water from a pitcher no ice in sight. One pancake for ea and served separately from the full meal. So you finish your pancake in one minute and you wait for the plate. Never offered syrup, pancakes were burnt, we never had a full plate and left. Horrible location. Building or structure next door under construction very noisy. Elevator shakes tremendously. Building sways. Really it sways. Glass window wall had a huge crack very concerning. Two water bottles per day for our big group. Upon walking in receptionist do not greet you. Thin walls! Thin. I heard it all. Do not stay here. Do your research and find better. Less than one star place. At the end they give you a questionnaire for service. The audacity.

It was easy reserving at this hotel. I reserved for my godmother and she had a wonderful stay. Even she couldn't sleep on the 1st night because of mosquitos. She let the staff know about it and they resolved it immediately. Also they have breakfast, good option. My godmother loved the green natural juice...She felt really confprtable.

We bought the additional for breakfast but it doesn't worth the money. There are café around the hotel with better quality and maybe cheaper.
The hotel was clean but the staff at front desk failed to provide any information that we requested like restaurante recommendation near by or even bus stop to go somewhere, Google maps bus stop was wrong all times.

Mixed bag - arrived around midnight to helpful lobby staff; room was a bit chilly with no central heat. In the morning, another very helpful staff member helped me find a pharmacy, and told me they had space heaters available. When I asked for one later that afternoon, the surly female staff member told me they didn’t have them, so someone was misinformed or possibly lying.

The room was comfy aside from the chill and street noise (I always take earplugs) and lack of electrical outlets.

The nearby subway stop has been closed for over a year, so check status if you are depending on that access.

The one elevator broke twice in 6 days. The staff ignored requests for pots and pans and a heater. Had to call multiple times for an extra blanket. Shower was missing a door so the floor always was wet. Hotel is on the main street, lots of traffic and traffic noise ALL night.

10 day stay. 10 days too long. Hotel sways/shakes. We thought it was an earthquake at first, but no. The single elevator was out of service for an entire day. Up/down the stairs to our room on floor 9. Better be in shape for that. Breakfast was ONE pancake & 5 thin slices of fruit, warm water with a couple drops of color added to make it pass for coffee. Just scroll through & do yourself a favour when looking for places to stay. There are FAR BETTER hotels for the same price.

This place is great because of the location, but can be quite noisy. The walls are thin, so its easy to hear things going on in the next room. Also, there us some type of bar or club that has loud music; sometimes until 3:00am.
The positives are that the staff is very attentive and helpful, and the rooms very clean.

Stayed here because we were hoping to reduce our costs a bit while in town, and we're so glad we ended up here! The staff are so very kind and helpful. The location is super convenient with a train station down the block and a quick walk to a few different bus lines. One of our \"must haves\" was a king bed. The bed was a bit firm for my liking but after walking around all day, I definitely had no problem sleeping through the night. The room also had a small fridge and an air conditioner, which we were also happy for. There's an Oxxo (convenience store) on the corner, and the hotel also provides two water bottles per day, which was an added bonus. As others have noted - the rooms are definitely not sound proof, but again, if you're out and about all day, by the time you get to bed, you'll sleep soundly. There was a sign saying they had ear plugs if needed. Overall, would recommend.

It is an efficient space with a kitchenette and dinning table. Being a small hotel, it's easy to navigate etc. and the location is central--though it faces a main street. Overall, it is decent but the gym is super old and not usable and they should clean the bedcoverings more often.
