Location is excellent, the kitchen and beds were clean.

But, we had to sweep the floor of our apartment ourselves since there was so much dust and hair when we checked in the evening.

The toilet got clogged next day and again we had to get a plunger from the front desk and unclog it ourselves.

On the last day there was a fowl smell in the room when we woke up. The toilet clogged again, and we could not unclog it with the plunger they gave. It almost overflowed. Quite disgusting that one cannot even flush toilet paper (provided by the hotel) in the toilets.

It’s a good place for short stay. The fact that they don’t allow any visitors is not acceptable. If you have a place that you can cook a meal you should be able to have someone come over to share that meal with you. I will not stay there again.

Unbearable noise all day

Old building, smells, no outlets on the walls- there was only one. Noisy, noisy, noisy. I had to go most of the day just to get some peace and quiet. Location is great about 4- 5 blocks from La Reforma. I just can't forget about the noise carn horn constant through the day and then, people selling tamales at 10-10:30 at night advertising in their loud speakers.

Nice Budget Hotel in a Great Area

The hotel staff is so nice, caring and helpful.
The hotel itself is good, but I had problems with the WiFi which went in and out. The hotel manager came to my room and helped me fix the problem using other codes. I’d return late in the early mornings after out at the bars and clubs and wanted to shower but had to run the water for about 10 minutes for it to get hot. Clean room, but the dusty curtains and bed spread need washing. Overall a nice budget hotel in one of the best areas of the city! I would stay there again!

they don't change the sheets, they just bed-make. water bottle should be included every stay but they just give you 2 bottles only the day you arrive. they also don't give you new amenities either.

Good stay for a few days for a reasonable price

The staff tried very hard to make us happy. We had some issues with the wifi but they worked with us to get it working. I did see a bug in the toilet but I flushed it. I wished there had been a coffee pot in the room and wish there had been air conditioning. One time the elevator was out of service while people were working on it. The room was spacious and in a good location. The bathroom shower was stone and gorgeous. The water pressure was something to be desired though. There were plenty of dishes in the kitchen and while we heard some of our neighbors there wasn't any street noise. There was tons of closet and dresser space. We never checked out the tv, but it was available too.

It was my first visit to CDMX. And I loved my stay. I'm considering getting a home there and possibly move there if I get a good job. The area was safe and the staff was excellent. Thank you for all your help. I would definitely come stay again.

The hotel staff is amazing, they are really up there for you. The facilities are old, but the hotel location is really convenient (they were remodeling the hotel main entrance which is a good symptom about taking care of the building infrastructure). Unfortunately, the room service was disappointing. My room was not cleaned in two days in a row, I had to talk to the manager to complain about it. The room floor was really dirty. Another negative aspect about the room service is the shampoo and soap bars supply....... they were kind of greedy. Scarcely supply for two people especially after two days with no room service. If my experience with the room service were better, I'd have no problem in recommending Suite Havre.

Good choice great location

Overall a good choice of hotel. The bed was big and comfortable and I slept well but on the Friday there was so much noise from the street. This is never normally a problem for me as I wear earplugs and tend to pass out drunk but this time I had trouble. The location is excellent though - plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance and a lot of 24-hr convenience stores. This city doesn't seem to sleep. Great gay bar on Calle Londres. Big pedestrianised zone very close too, buzzing at night, cervecerias and restaurants, I was alone the whole time, a female who doesn't speak Spanish, and felt very safe. Final point there were ants in the bathroom, maybe a deal breaker for some but I didn't care, to be honest. My room wasn't cleaned during my 3 night stay but I don't wake up early and am unlikely to have been woken by any knocks on the door in the morning. Again, not a problem for me. I'd definitely stay here again.

Convenient and clean

We had a wonderful time during our 7 days in Mexico City and we were so lucky to stay in this hotel. The hotel is not luxury, but clean and comfortable. There are more furniture than we need and plenty
storage room. Everyone in the service desk can speak English as well. They are very friendly and helpful. We were not only provided the local area maps, but also told how to use the city metro system. A metro station is just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, so we were able to use the city metro to visit many places we wanted. We were also amazed how convenient the metro system is. We really appreciated the service desk's kindness, friendliness and helpfulness.

It's so close to fun restaurants, it's a half hour to zocalo. The attendants were friendly and ready to help. Made the stay easy. Take the subway to and from airport... 45 minutes and $10 pesos.... Easy!

Nice hotel, terrible beds.

This hotel is next to \"la zona rosa\" which is a nice area to hang around if you are young and/or gay. Nice bars, coffee places and restaurants around.
The hotel is next to a shady street, which at night turns a bit unnerving. The girl host does not speak English. The check in is made inside a room under maintenance, the luggage is placed inside it, this is a bit fishy. But no problem in the end.

The building is really old. The elevator even has a normal door, to be opened when the elevator reaches the floor.
The rooms are ok, for the price and the area. The bed is stiff and the blankets are dry and itchy. Just 2 pillows. The place is in general clean, a intense cleaning fluid and lemon aroma filled my nostrils when I arrived. No heater. Ants where found wandering around.

The bathroom was in general clean. Nevertheless ants where found around the floor. No biggie.

In general The staff is nice but a bit difficult to help if you speak English. The rooms are nice but the place is noisy AF starting really early in the morning which ruined a good sleep for me. I say a 7/10.

Can not have all when you in a budget. I love the hotel location. Very close to major transportation options. Shopping mall and restaurants at walking distance along with a lot of points of interest (like museums,Etc..)
Now the bad part. The hotel is located in a major avenue and the windows are not noise proof. Get ready for a lot of loud people passing by after the club and motorists all night. The WI FI Sucks big time. Very slow.

Wonderful place!

I spent 6 nights at the Havre Suites and was an excellent stay. The suites are furnished well and very clean and comfortable.It is in a great location with restaurants and a 7 11 right around the corner. The whole facility is kept clean everyday. When they clean your rooms they clean everything and includes fresh sheets and pillowcases,I was really impressed. I enjoyed the overall feel of the place. Very relaxing,quiet and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and do anything to help you and will provide maps of the area and the Metro. My suite was facing the street so it did get busy at about 8 or 9 am,but stayed very quiet at nights and on the weekends. Will I return to this hotel? YES! I will always return to this hotel. I just really,really enjoyed this place!

Almost no furniture other than a bed. Zero, zero, zero hot water for the first 24 hours. Microwave and refrigerator had only one wall outlet to share and no plug adaptor for either. No wash clothes. Even the handle on the hotel front door was broken

Excellent wifi. I did not get the lowest priced room. I was given apartment 504. It was huge! Separate living room, bedroom, and kitchen. The staff was very friendly 24 hour desk you are let into the property which is nice and secure. Safe in room, friendly staff. I liked the neighborhood easy walk to the Insurgentes Metro stop and out to dinner at night. Only downside was no AC. It seems most places in Mexico City don't have AC. This was only noteable during the first part of my stay when temperatures were in the upper 80s F (30C). Otherwise it was fine to not have AC.

The Suite Havre is centrally located on a chic block. The room had a kitchenette and modern bathroom, as well as an eating and sitting area and a comfortable bed. The street tended to get busy during rush hour and there were car fumes in the room. Car fumes are pervasive throughout Mexico City and I would think that all hotel rooms in this price range had air quality issues.

The staff was very helpful, most spoke English and the hotel is very clean. My room was cleaned everyday with fresh linens.

This hotel was in a great neighborhood that was very safe and quiet. My room was on the second floor facing the sidewalk and there was hardly any outside noise. The room was clean as well. As with all hotels in Mexico, you had better get up before the rest of the hotel if you want hot water. I had hot water two of my three days there. You just have to wait a while before the water turns hot. I stayed at Hotel PF last time and this hotel was cheaper and a lot more comfortable. I would stay here again when I return to Mexico City.

Great wifi, nice staff, day staff attendant spoke great English. Water was hot. Room was spacious. Also my room didn't have carpet which in my opinion is great. My only complaint would be the construction going on at the ground floor of the hotel and the noise from the street but everywhere in mexico city is loud and ear plugs are an easy hack.

It can be noisy if ur room is facing the street, but staff are helpful to change for you. However, we noted not just 1 but few more small cockroaches in the dining area. We are overall satisfy for the price is cheap and great location. Just across the street will find a nice breakfast place, and many nice dining place in walking distance.

The best thing about this hotel is its fantastic location. You can walk to Zona Rosa, Condesa, Roma Norte, and Centro. The closest subway stop is really close and same goes for the metrobus. The area (colonia Juarez) is very good and quiet, safe. The hotel itself is fine. Clean, convenient, pleasant. Suites have a sleeping area, a sitting area and a kitchenette (I missed having a coffee maker, though). The bathroom is modern, clean and the water has enough pressure (not always the case in certain areas of Mexico City). The staff are polite and nice. All in all I was satisfied with my choice.

Just what we needed.

Needed an affordable hotel within close walking distance to a Metro station. Hotel Havre is only a few minutes walking. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating, although did not speak any English. The room was clean, and modest. There is noise transfer between rooms and floors though, nothing serious, but could be a concern for some. Great Pizza place just a few doors down.

We spent a week here, a room on the 2nd floor. The room was spacious, but simple. Met all of our needs. Had a mini kitchen which was ideal for breakfasts and small meals. Staff was friendly. Great location for walking. We walked to the Museo de Antropologia and the Zocalo from here, but you can also take the green buses on Paseo de la Reforma for 6 Pesos. Great coffee shop across the street! A bit on the noisy side during rush hour as the hotel is on a small side street that drivers use to get around a very busy intersection. Wifi was spotty.

un poco estrictos en algunos sentidos. y en otros lamentablemente muy flexibles. Las dos mañanas que desperté ahí, el ruido de la lavandería y la música a todo volumen desde temprano, no se puede descansar, las cortinas muy delgadas y entra toda la claridad al cuarto, algunos recepcionistas preguntan datos de la habitación cada vez que ingresas al hotel, algunos otros no. El cuarto es bastante amplio, la cocina muy equipada (no utilicé nada, pero sí esta super equipada) la sala y comedor amplios, el cuarto de buen tamaño,. En general el cuarto está excelente pero lo malo son las cortinas y el ruido, además de que en el patio había gente fumando y entraba el aroma al cuarto por las ventanas. La gente hace rudido en las mañanas en el patio.

El lugar no tenía aire acondicionado y hacía mucho calor, al tener una visita no dejaron a mi amiga a subir al cuarto por lo que tuvimos que salir del lugar , y no hay ni wifi que funcione ni Red de teléfono , es una excelente ubicación pero hay mucho por mejorar

Estuvo excelente!! viajé por trabajo y mini vacaciones a la CdMx, me encanta la ciudad así que quise aprovechar y me hospedé en suites havre y estuvimos muy muy a gusto, la limpieza, la ubicacion el precio, la amabilidad etc etc... sin duda volvería a hospedarme y por supuesto que los recomendaré.
