I experienced the following during my recent stay:
Water leaking under the sink into the drawer we were supposed to use during our stay
Shower hot water only lasted about 5 minutes
Blinds stuck in down position
Towels very dingy and had a couple holes
Hole in wall
Marks/stains on walls
Rough bed linen
Stained upholstery on sofa

Maybe this would be acceptable for a hostel or similar stay but it is not what I expected for how the property was advertised. When I shared the items with the manager - who was only accessible via email - we were offered new sheets or a room change but by the time the manager returned the message we had one night left and just dealt with it up.

My suggestion is to lower your expectations.

Hotel is in the perfect spot of Roma Norte. Everything is walkable and nearby (Parque Mexico, Condensa, Cibiles, etc.) The check in process is smooth and the staff are very good at communicating. Whatsapp is the preferred way to communicate with the front desk and they respond quickly with any recommendations or services that are needed.

I had a really good stay at this hotel. The place itself was nice and easy to enjoy, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The rooftop was a standout—such a cool spot to hang out—and the gym was solid as well. Overall, it felt like a great value for what you get. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel location was good. It was right in a busy street and never quieted down the whole 4 days we were there. Our room I thought was initially clean. After a few minutes I noticed dirty shoe prints all over the floor, parts of the floor coverings by the window were coming up, tape on the walls like they were holding the baseboard up, stains on our sheets and our AC unit was leaking water.

Had a wonderful time at Uliv Mexico City.
I was a little hesitant reading the reviews of other people but im so glad I chose this place. Centrally located in the Roma Norte area of Mexico city this was the perfect home base location for me For my week long adventure around town. Some amazing taco stands just around the corner from your location, you have 3 oxxos a blocks away for any needs you may need. Easy check in, no problems at all, lobby had someone in it 24/7 and I left and came alot and never once did I see it empty. The room was clean and really enjoyed the floor to ceiling glass windows really enjoyed the view and the light that flooded the room everyday. Skip the other bad reviews take a chance on this place definitely was worth booking here.

Originally got the executive suite and it was tiny. Was able to upgrade and it was better. No safe incase that matters ro you but thr hotel does have washers and dryers you can use. Some of the furniture looked raggedy and th beds were just ok Good area though, pretty central location.

Our stay at Uliv Mexico City from April 14–19 was absolutely amazing. The unit was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable. Josue and Lionel at the rooftop bar were incredibly friendly and made every visit even better, all while we enjoyed breathtaking views of the city. Adriana at the front desk was always welcoming and had fantastic dinner recommendations that made our trip even more special. 10/10 for location, quality, and outstanding service. We can’t wait to come back!

Great hotel and really good deal for the money. Rooms are spacious with a truly stunning view, beautiful rooftop with yummy cocktails, free laundry facilities, super easy check in and so central! Yes, there is some noise from the street but you are on Insurgentes, a large thoroughfare (that also puts public transportation right within reach) so that it is to be expected. Only, very slight, minus point: furniture is on the older side and walls scuffed but easily overlooked considering all the plusses!

The room was as presented on the website, few things to look out for, that wasn’t an issue for us. If you are a light sleeper the hotel is near a busy and loud intersection, you only get two coffee pod, the cleanliness behind the bed head could be better. The area is very homey and safe, everything was within walking distance and what’s not, you can uber for a relatively cheap price. The staff and people all around are very friendly and open, and respectful. Having traveled to many international countries Paris/ Spain, Germany, Switzerland. This was the most friendly experience. Many activities are around, food tours, museums, little parks, cafes, the ballon tours will pick you up and drop you off from your hotel. The green line tour bus goes by Coyacoan and Frida Kahlo’s house, the red line goes by Ripleys museum.
The hotel also has a roof top bar lovely scenery and great music and drinks, the gym is open 7-11 and almost always busy !

Great little apartment with everything you need in an amazing location. You're steps away from loads of shops and bars (try the pulquería across the street, it's delicious) and Amsterdam Ave is a 5 min walk and ideal for jogging (or eating / drinking).

I'd read some reviews about street noise however I didn't have any issuess and found it to be really quiet despite the odd siren, which is normal for any hotel in a central location.

The free laundry room is a nice touch too.

The front desk staff are really friendly and offer lots of good recommendations.

The room is spacious and clean. The living room TV didn’t work and the bedroom TV would not connect to the provided Internet. Not a huge deal as we were out and about most of the time. The traffic outside can be insanely noisy at any point during the day/night. Constant honking and sirens. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or this might not be the place for you. Overall a nice place and very centrally located.

It was much better than I expected. The staff is friendly, they are communicative and send details via text. The location is amazing, near a lot of great shopping and restaurants. They have large and well furnished studios and apartments making for a comfortable stay. The rooftop offers 360 views of the city and a great spot to watch the sunset or just hang out. I would highly recommend this place and stay again.

Location was great, I asked prior to my arrival if they had an iron or steamer and never got a response. I am big on cleanliness and there was hair in the bathroom and on the bed. I couldn’t sleep the 3 nights I was there it was so load cause of the street and it sounded like if the windows were open. They need to upgrade there windows cause they are cheap and you hear everything. Overall I would rate it 3/5 only cause of the location.

Clean room. Noisy, but because it is right in the middle of everything that is somewhat expected. Better quality windows could have dampened the non stop traffic noise at night. The room was a bit on the auster side. You gotta pay extra for room cleaning. Not your traditional hotel, but very central. Used uber, so idk about parking. And never had a chance to check out the roof top bar. Mexico city is full of life and excitement and I would encourage everyone to visit. I wouldn't oppose returning to this hotel also.

Good luck trying to sleep here, people say NYC is the city that never sleeps, wrong it’s CDMX. If you love honky car horns, constant police sirens, the serenade of random car alarms all throughout the night, then this place is your jam. Your unit may feel high above the city from the pic but the walls are paper thin at it’s like you are in an immersive experience where you are sleeping on the road.

One of the reasons I picked this place was the gym. It was disappointing, it was dirty and leaked water from the ceiling and not all the equipment was functioning. I needed up paying to use a gym a 10 min walk away.

The room was very clean and in a neat condition, the place was spacious. The hall way and the elevator was clean. My only complain was the siren from the bank in the middle of night, when I told them they were willing to change the room and give me the quieter room. The place is in nice area, there are lots of cafe and restaurants near by. The staff were very respectful! The terrace is also nice to chill, and the workout center is functional. Also very close to the 1 bus and the metro.

great central location close to everything. However, the cleanliness wasn’t what I expected—the floors and furniture were dusty and the couch was gross. There was also barely any hot water, so showers had to be very quick. It’s on a busy road, so you can hear all of the street noise at night. The bed is rock hard. Overall, good location and views, but some improvements are definitely needed.

The room itself had a nice view and balcony but there were scuffs everywhere, hole in the bathroom floor, and little flies in the shower when we got there. We paid extra for an upgrade and didn’t feel like much of an upgrade other than a better view. The bed was uncomfortable and pillows were terrible! We requested an extra pillow and we were told they did not have any. We decided to check out the rooftop finally since it was closed 2 days in a row for a private party and there were no propane tanks to turn on the fire pits and no one there to order a drink since again the rooftop was closed 2 days in a row of course both days of the weekend and rooftop being on the 14th floor which is the floor we were staying at, it was super loud the music was blasting could hear it to our room and all the drunk people screaming in the halls after the party while we were trying to sleep. We understand the noise of the city itself but to have to deal with drunk people and loud music down the hall 2 nights in a row that sucked! And on checkout day after paying late checkout we had the cleaning lady banging on our door at 12 when check out was at 1 and she stood at the door waiting for us until we left because someone else was checking in at 3. Overall the experience was not the best. It has potential it’s in a good location and has a great view of the city from the balcony with a beautiful rooftop but not much going on up their either.

Everything was clean, but I felt like they need to wash the windows from the outside and also a little dusty on the inside. I visited the rooftop, which was nice but mainly only open in the evenings and unfortunately there there were a couple of private events over the weekend so we were not able to enjoy it. I did not visit the gym and parking was not needed. One thing to mention is that I did get the panoramic view which is really nice but it is extremely noisy. I thought people were exaggerating and they are not. You can probably use earplugs and be OK but just be aware it’s a main street so it does get busy you hear ambulance police sirens people honking cars early in the morning and definitely late at night on the weekends. The location is great below the apartments. They have a market every weekend, which was really nice with good food. It’s also close to everything want getting Ubers was pretty easy.

In all honesty this was the best experience I’ve ever had Expedia made an amazing Booking for Uliv package the Staff was amazing. Checking in to our hotel was the easiest thing. The area we stayed in was 10/10 everything was pretty close to each other from food , night life , coffee shops etc.

This listing looks much better online than it does in reality. While the rooftop is beautiful, our overall experience was disappointing—especially in terms of comfort and cleanliness. We booked a room for three people, but it only had a couch instead of a proper daybed or additional sleeping arrangement. We had to go downstairs to request extra blankets and pillows. The living room area had no air circulation at all—no AC, no windows, and no way to get fresh air in. It felt extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. There was AC in the bedroom, but the only way to cool the living space was to leave the bedroom door open with the AC blasting, which meant sacrificing privacy and still not achieving real comfort. Another inconvenience was the cleaning process. Guests are required to schedule their own cleaning through a link, which is difficult to manage when you’re out touring and may not have reliable reception. The biggest concern, however, was cleanliness. There are shared washers and dryers for guests, but I found hotel cleaning towels being washed in them. When I opened one of the dryers, it was full of towels covered in hair and debris, and even mop heads were being washed together with them. This suggests that cleaning materials from different areas (including bathrooms and kitchens) are not being properly separated, which is both unhygienic and concerning. I want to be clear that the staff were not the issue—they were helpful, hardworking, and did their best with what they had

The staff was wonderful. Saul was very helpful each time I needed help. His attitude was excellent. With the language barrier, he helped me directions and ordering a shared ride. Another staffer (Eve or Evelyn??; can’t remember the exact name). She helped me check in and answered all my questions with a very positive attitude. The place was clean and well equipped. The room was nice, we enjoyed having a living space with refrigerator and sink. The location is good for exploring and the rooftop bar/lounge is wonderful. There is a market that operated every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday right next door. They erect the tents the night before, from about 10pm-4am, and it is quite loud.
