The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good.
There was no chair in the room, but had a desk. The only place to eat breakfast was on an outside patio. One morning the temperature was below freezing and would have appreciated an indoor space to eat. No table or chairs in the room. Many mechanical noises at night made it difficult to sleep.

The location of the hotel is very centrally located. The neighborhood felt very safe and was very walkable. The room was small but clean. The staff were extremely helpful and kind—they were wonderful. The Continental breakfast was generous and appreciated.
If you have mobility issues, be aware they do not have an elevator. My husband found the bed in our room (Nápoles) to be too firm for him, which I was surprised about, as I found it okay. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again!

The room was nice and clean, the water was gloriously hot, the front desk staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. All staff was friendly and courteous. Exceptional was that there is someone on duty 24/7, and the gate is secure and locked at all times. Someone lets you in, there is no key for the front gate, so it felt super safe. The only \"bad\" thing i have to say, and it's just a suggestion for safety, is the tiles in the shower are dangerously slippery when wet. I would suggest putting down something more for grip. But that's the only negative thing. I think it was great value and well worth it. Would gladly stay here again!

This place was in a perfect location to access a lot of different areas! You really didn’t have to do much unless you grabbed a quick Uber, which still was only about 10 to 15 minutes for most popular spots. The only thing that wasn’t as great as that they did not have air conditioning, but it did not feel very warm.

Nice little place with great staff. Only issues were the lack of ventilation in the bathroom which made it smell musty at times and that we had to buzz in for entrance when we returned each time. We did not partake in the breakfast as we wanted to try local places but it was a great option with eggs your way and fresh fruit. The staff was great and they did an excellent & thorough job cleaning every day

The staff was terrific and the hotel had small clean rooms ( we had 3 different rooms -Roma was the largest). The hotel was conveniently placed near great restaurants and lovely parks. An Uber was 109 pesos from Centro. The internet was reliable. The hotel itself was quiet as the rooms were placed a distance apart with sound proof cement walls between. Dogs bark regularly but that is true all over CDMX. I would suggest that a chair be placed in the room so you do not have to lie on the bed to read and a mirror be placed over the sink so you can see to shave.

Breakfast was excellent and filling, made to order - a highlight.

Location is in a very quiet neighborhood, extremely safe. Lots of food, coffee options close by. Close enough to the more happening and busy areas. Recommend using the Ecobici bike rental system!

This hotel is located in Condesa, walking distance from myriad dining options: restaurants, cafes, bars, breweries, street food vendors, etc. Location is excellent!

The area feels safe. We walked around at all hours of the night. You’ll have to identify yourself before entering the hotel each time, buzzing in via the intercom system. Although there is nightlife, the neighborhood is quiet.

We arrived at 10 AM during the work week, an hour drive from the airport because of traffic. We left before 8am on a Sunday, less than 30 minutes back to airport.

The property and room were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily. The wonderful staff are courteous and helpful.

I highly recommend. I would stay at Parral 14 Boutique Hotel again.

First time staying at Parral 14 boutique hotel. If you are looking for a budget-friendly, safe , clean and perfectly located place to stay , Parral 14 should be highly considered. This is NOT a Sheraton style hotel. It’s small and has all the basics but not much more. Staff are professional and polite. My only complaint would be that the front main entrance door should be open between normal business hours so guests don’t have to use the call box every time they want back in. Also , the first night I arrived , I couldn’t even get in because the call box was not lit and couldn’t find the button. Fortunately , a nice older man showed me how to “buzz” the box as he walked by. I stood out there for 20 mins in the dark trying to figure this out. Couples should try to get one of the interior bigger rooms. More space.

Lovely little hotel in Condesa on a quiet street. The staff are all super nice. The breakfast was a welcome treat every morning so we could get our day started fueled up. It would be nice if the instructions noted you must ring a doorbell to be let in. When we arrived we weren’t sure how to enter as it’s fortified. Also, they do charge if you drink the tiny coffee pod in room and for the water. We were there during rainy season so room was comfortable. There isn’t ac and there was a big fan for when it’s hot. I would definitely stay again. There are all sorts of shops, restaurants and coffee shops within a short walk

The room was nice, but there were definitely some issues with this place. First off, the staff does not speak English. Opted for a hotel instead so we could get info from local staff, that obviously didn't happen. Area around hotel is loud, the windows are not fully sealed at the bottom. The hot water was very sparse. Some days there was none, other days there was a little. For the price we paid, we expected a better experience. Another note, and this is for safety, I understand, but every time you want to re-enter the hotel, you have to press an intercom. They inevitably ask questions, in spanish, that we could not understand, so it was the same annoying back and forth multiple times a day.

Some of the furniture and bathroom facilities were worn and the drains produce a smell (they are covered with a rubber flap to prevent this). The provided breakfast and snacks were great and the staff was very friendly allowing me to leave my luggage for an extra night while I went on a hike.

This is a beautiful property with a friendly staff. I really enjoyed my first time in CDMX and I'll be back. My only complaint would be that it might take a couple of days before you get used to how to use the hot water, as it's very sensitive.

We enjoyed our stay here! The breakfast was good and filling. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The rooms are very quiet and you can hear people talking outside/walking by at night - so bring white noise if you're a light sleeper! I would stay here again. Great location - go get a pastry at Mama Carmela around the corner!

No hot water! Balky TV.

The hot water never came on in the bathroom sink. The hot water for the shower took over 5 minutes to emerge. The TV took about 5 minutes to come on. The coffee maker was temperamental. Overall, an unacceptable experience. They offered no solution. At check-out they told me that the room had been blocked for review and maintenance. But that didn’t do me much good. I should at least get a discount for all the discomfort they caused me. Trying to take a shower was nothing short of torturous! Totally unacceptable.

Beautiful and safe location, which was the main reason for booking.
Plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping, with two large parks within walking distance.
Friendly and helpful cleaning/kitchen staff.
Basic but tasty breakfast.
Cons:
Room near the front desk was noisy due to constant interactions.
Room was very cold with no heat, though extra blankets were provided.
No dining room; breakfast served on the patio, which was very cold in January.
Unresolved water leak in the bathroom sink despite reporting it immediately.
Had to remind staff for basic amenities like a hair dryer, toilet paper, and sufficient towels for four guests.
Staff was unhelpful with check-out and damage deposit reimbursement, leaving it to be resolved with the bank.

Comfortable stay in wonderful La Condesa

Very comfortable, well thought out, functional and quiet hotel. Excellent value. Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty building, especially the double height lobby and courtyard. Gorgeous leafy street.

The highlight is the neighbourhood. Within a few blocks is gorgeous Parque Mexico, endless restaurants, cafes and little boutiques. Lovely place to stroll around and explore, peaceful and feels totally calm and safe. Also a lovely walk through the park to the anthropology museum. If you’re planning on exploring the hectic city centre, it’s close by and easy to get around on public transport, and La Condesa makes a quiet retreat from the buzz.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was a bonus. The bed and pillows were of good quality. The room was chic and colonial. I would suggest letting guests know where the buzzer is and that you need to ring it when you get there. We did not know, the neighbours across the street took pity and let us know what to do. Otherwise we loved our stay. So many great places to eat, lots of green spaces and very safe to wander around. Once you figure out the metro, travel around the city is very straight forward. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Staying at PARRAL is an experience in itself! A super cute and quirky spot, feels like a home because of its set up and service.

The room was spacious and pretty.

The cleanliness could be a bit better, but I suppose for the price it was pretty apt. The hosts were beyond incredible and kind — got me a portable heater when it got too cold & was overall very approachable and helpful.

My room was next to the street so it got a bit loud but as a city girl, i loved it, and it helped me feel safer. The water was really cold (but I didn’t bring this up to the hotel tho I’m sure they would do their best to address it).

Overall, as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and cared for. Note that you have to buzz in to the hotel everytime you’re trying to enter — a quirk that’s mostly cute but at times can be a bit inconvenient.

The hotel was in a prime location with walkable access to restaurants, market places, art and parks. Super safe property, with speaker and camera admittance.
Our room was kept clean and supplied with fresh towels, and the breakfast was prepared fresh for us each day.
The front desk was helpful in finding last minute tour guides, though all transactions were necessary in Spanish.Communication was only a little problem for us, because we had some Spanish and Google translate is an added tool.
Overall, great place to stay in a big city!

A wonderful place

Picked this place blind based on reviews, and could not have been more pleased. Nice neighborhood, plenty to walk to in Condesa, and the room was immaculate with a premium feel. The staff was excellent, and the cooked to order breakfast a wonderful surprise. It has probably ruined us for other last minute accomodations in places we've never been to!

Charmed in the Condesa

We only stayed one night at this small, charming, well-priced hotel in the Condesa area. The women at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, and even held our luggage at no charge while we did some sightseeing. Limited but very good home cooked breakfast on the patio. Clean and quiet rooms in a great location.

This small hotel was perfectly clean quiet and well appointed. Breakfast to order was great. On a quiet street with 24 hour front desk to buzz you in. I was with my younger sister and we felt so safe. The ladies that work there were very helpful with any questions and even provided late check out when our flight was delayed due to a storm. My Spanish is very limited and that was not a problem. I was a little worried about no aircon but the temps are cool and the room was completely comfortable night and day. Did I mention that the price is unbeatable and there are adorable restaurants steps away. This is the place to stay! I’ll be back :)
