Lovely Staff. Beautiful Property. Great elegant, minimal vibe. The roof top terrace and Continental breakfast were great. The other breakfast options for purchase were delicious as well.
We loved our superior suite, it was the perfect size. Casa Decu has a great location near Parque México with several shops and exciting restaurants within walking distance.
Looking forward to visiting again, hopefully soon.

The check-in person was bordering on being rude. It was not a good check in experience.

Comments: Interesting place. Elevator is needed. We are in our 60's and hauling luggage up to the fourth floor is not in the cards. Luckily, the doorman carried them but his back won't last long doing that. He was a great guy. Install an outside elevator as they are cheap.
The lighting in room 406 was very dim...all of it. Install a new lamp in both rooms for additional lighting and stop using those modern cool lightbulbs that don't put out any light.

Breakfast of pastries that are wrapped in plastic not so appealing when there are millions of bakeries around. There was almond milk and lactose free milk but no regular whole milk...whose decision was that? Bad one. AND there was no gluten free options. One morning the pineapple that was on the fruit tray was so brown it was gross. Rotten. If it was my hotel I would bring a cook in and serve eggs and bacon and would not stick with the poor choices that were available.

While the hotel is in a great location it is doubtful that I would stay there again due to the things mentioned

Room was clean and comfortable. For the price it was really nice. Breakfast was excellent. It can get noisy at night, walls are thin, so we would have to have every door and window shut with the fan running to drown out the hallway noise. Be aware no a/c, and windows look out into other rooms so you mostly have to have them closed at all times. Location was great and overall convenient.

This was a Claude recommendation and I'm so glad I went with it. Casa Decu was a lovely stay. The location was perfect for all the recommendations of places to go. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Finally, the terrace restaurant was a great place to get work done and enjoy the sunshine.

The staff was amazing and friendly.
The room itself was roomy but on the 5th floor with narrow stairs. I was out of breath once I got up. This was my mistake I should've done better research. However the room was clean and they did carry our bags up which was a plus.
The thing I really did not enjoy at all and hope they can fix was the bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed ever. I think all the foam has left the building and what you get is some sort of quick sand where you have no more comfort and just sink into the bed.
Otherwise wonderful location close to it all. Stylish decor and we felt super safe.

Casa Decu is such a beautiful boutique hotel. I was concerned about the no air conditioning and elevator but somehow it always felt comfortable despite the temperature. They also provide a portable fan and heater if needed. The staff were always helpful and friendly. Also love their breakfast.

Casa Decu is an absolute gem! The property is amazing and my suite was beautiful! The staff always greeted me with a smile and friendly conversation. The property was always clean and tidy. I have told everyone where I was staying and how lovely it was. Breakfast was served daily and delicious! Enjoying my meal on the roof top with fresh coffee was the best way to start my day while in CDMX. There were so many shops and restaurants in walking distance from the front door along with the beautiful Mexico City park. I will return to Casa Decu.

Charming boutique hotel in the heart of beautiful Mexico City barrio La Condesa. The staff is extremely helpful. I booked room for one person and later my friend decided to join me. I mailed to the hotel about it and they arranged room with sofa bed for two of us with no additional charge. Breakfast on the terrace is tasty and has a lot of choices. It was nice to start the day. The location is unbeatable, you can walk everywhere or take uber to any other place. A lot of amazing restaurants and bars around: try Caracol Del Mar, Bartla or Canopia for great gastronomical experiences. Highly recommended! Thank you, Casa Decu!

Casa Decu’s location in La Condesa is perfect — walking distance to amazing restaurants and Parque México, where people run, walk, and spend time with their dogs. The neighborhood feels very family-friendly and full of life.

The staff were incredibly warm, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, and the double suite worked perfectly for our family since I was traveling with my two older sons. Having separate rooms made the stay much more comfortable for us.

The hotel itself is stylish, hip, and beautifully designed. The rooftop area is especially relaxing, filled with plants and overlooking the beauty of La Condesa. It is also where they serve their delicious breakfast.

One thing to note is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so you’ll be going up and down stairs often. I personally didn’t mind because I considered it part of my daily exercise, but it may not be ideal for everyone. The rooms also do not have air conditioning, though the fans they provided kept the room comfortable. Still, if you prefer a very cold room, this may not be the best fit for you.

Overall, I truly loved staying at Casa Decu and would absolutely choose to stay here again.

Location is fantastic! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. The terrace was very pleasant and having breakfast there was a great morning moment. I would definitely come back. My only 2 complaints were that the windows face the alley and it can get really loud when people passes by. Also, the room has a lot of light at night (I know many people appreciate this but I like full blackout and we couldn’t find the switch to those lights).

Casa Decu was EXCEPTIONAL!! We loved our stay! The staff was friendly, the building is beautiful! You can see the pride they've taken into their hotel on every detail. The room was perfect, very comfortable, clean and quiet. Shower was great too! We've notice that in Mexico many places have issues with the shower water pressure and mold, not Casa Decu! They have a terrace that serves delicious breakfast and it's very cosy!
2 things to know in case they're important to you: no elevator, no A/C but they have a fan in the room and the staff will help you with your luggage up the stairs.

Pretty hotel, scripted courtesy, absolutely no exceptions policy and zero colaborarion with Expedia after booking was made for changes.

If you like bright rooms, loose floor tiles, no a/c, climbing 4 flights of stairs (because of no elevator), listening to everyone walk by your window at all times (remember, no A/C), and listening to multiple flushes down the drain pipe that goes down along the room's terrace, this is the place for you.

Great location. Recommend the superior suite room. Reg double room is odd and too small. Superior suite was very comfortable and quiet as it faced back light well. Front desk reception is a bit quixotic. Staff is young and they seem ill at ease. Wanted to use the bikes and thought we had that arranged when we came by the morning of our check in. Turns out they only have 3 and they are not reservable- its first come first serve. Totally fair- but reception person didnt do a good job of saying that up front when we initially asked. Roof top terrace is lovely. Nice breakfast/ although only the continental
Portion is included in your room price. Any breakfast dishes are additional charges. Again communication at front desk needs more clarity since they tell you your breakfast is included. But otherwise fine accomodation.

Wonderful rooftop area for breakfast and for chilling after a long day. Spring for the hot breakfast as the continental breakfast is a bit wanting and the hot breakfast will hold you over until dinner, or at least a late afternoon visit to a taqueria. Very nice location, a different scene from the city center. If you are sensitive to scents, be sure to inform them ahead of time as their cleaning products definitely have a strong smell.

The location is excellent — perfect for exploring Condesa and Roma, with loads of great food and drink options nearby. The hotel itself is very clean, and the decor is lovely with a nice character to it. Staff were also consistently friendly and helpful.

My room didn’t have air conditioning (only a fan), and there was no refrigerator, which would have been nice to have. The breakfast was fine, but nothing particularly special, and they didn’t have torta available during my stay, which was a bit disappointing.

Overall though, I had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

I am not sure why this hotel is rated as “exceptional” that is way too high. Sure the staff are very friendly and the cleaners do a really good job, but:

The room I was given had worst view I ever had in a hotel
The sink didn’t drain properly
Bathroom was very small
No heating or AC: it must be horrible If you come during a heat wave
No elevator
On one night the Fire safety battery was low in the corridor and rang all night.
The WiFi stopped working on 1 night.
Giving only 2 stars to lower the average.

super cute hotel right in the middle of everything, we loved the roof deck. It is good to know that they do not have AC/Heat but provide fans and a small heater. Windows open are a must, but do note it can get loud. There is also no elevator. That said, the stay was great, it was clean, and having breakfast on the roof every morning was lovely. Mediocre service that contracted the worst massage appointment of my life. Rooms are spacious and look nice, but have quality issues--such as cracked tiles on the floor or sound bleed from other rooms. I could hear someone using the bathroom and singing in another room.

The neighborhood of Condessa is stunning tho. Truly spectacular place to walk around at all times of the day.

The front desk staff are exceptionally sweet and kind. The room was spotless and a good size. It's a nice hotel in a great neighborhood convenient to many restaurants and cafes. However, there is no elevator and the spiral staircases are narrow and need to be used to get to the rooftop for amenities. If you have mobility issues, navigating this hotel can be challenging.

The room was very average, small bed, no A/C, no heating, just a small portable space heater, no insulation, cleanliness of the bed sheets questionable, smoke detector disconnected, poor quality and choices for breakfast, had to go outside to eat. We had two rooms, one with breakfast include one without. At checkout the 2 meals were billed eventhough 4 fir the orher room wete not consumed. Location eas good, but that is about it. First time I leave a review.

On the plus side: It's a charming hotel located in a wonderful part of the city. All of the staff I dealt with were courteous and, in a couple of cases, very helpful. The rooms were, overall, nicely appointed (some rough edges notwithstanding). The rooftop terrace was inviting. And the extra-cost full breakfasts that I was fortunate enough to have included in my reservation were delicious. On the minus side: It was noisy (strong thumps and reverberations every time the pump that fills the rooftop cistern shut off; thumps and reverberations from heavy-footed guests overhead walking and moving stuff around; and loud, live, outdoor music from a nearby restaurant one night). And the winding metal staircases to the rooftop can be a little tricky. Despite a lack of sleep, I don't regret my stay because the positives were very positive. And while I wouldn't discourage anyone from staying here I would suggest that you try to get a room on a lower floor at the back of the hotel and hope that any guests above you aren't too noisy.
