Loved this hotel, and everything about it! The room was beautiful and super clean, and I appreciated all of the amenities offered. Everyone was very friendly and incredibly helpful from check in to check out, the team made me feel welcome and taken care of.
I found my King room spacious, modern and incredibly clean-- and I'm super picky with cleanliness.

The location cannot be beat-- it's perfect and exactly where you want to be with El Parque just steps away, fabulous restaurants, cocktail bars and coffee shops right outside your door.

I will absolutely be back!

This was our second stay at this hotel, and the first time was amazing, but unfortunately the service was very bad this time. We experienced issues with cleanliness of the room--there was trash on the floor and an empty can in the fridge we found upon arrival and noticeably poor cleaning service throughout our duration. Things were not working in our room--a steamer was malfunctioning and sprayed water everywhere (this ended up getting replaced/resolved), a fridge that did not work (this also ended up getting replaced/resolved), and worst of all was a foul sewage odor coming from the toilet and shower. The odor could even be smelled in the room at night. We had to discuss this issue with the front desk, including managers, three separate times and it was never fixed. Their solution was adding a fragrance each time, but it was clearly a bigger issue and they should've moved us to another room (we had also suggested this to no avail). The smell was so strong, it made me want to gag and was such a terrible experience when you're trying to use the toilet and shower. Another issue was that we had to ask for the body wash to be refilled three times (it hadn't been filled upon our arrival) and they never refilled it...we eventually gave up asking. The hotel tried to make it up to us by leaving a dessert in our room, giving us a late check-out, and ordering us car service to the airport--we appreciated this, but the experience was so bad we will not be returning.

The shower drained very slowly. After maintenance came, it still drained slowly. We woke up several times, due to the noises outside and inside the hotel. In the morning we were met by the smell of a stinky drain. After moving to a new room, we still have foul smelling drains. The TV works intermittently. Not sure if we have heat in the room? Cycling through the settings it does not appear so.

These are not problems that should exist in a 5 or even 3 star hotel.

The place is beautiful, the hotel is very well located, there are plenty of restaurant to choose from. One thing that for me was on the negative side was the attitude of the bell boys, “older man” having a rude attitude, just because we were taking our time when we were doing the check in and had to pull stuff from our baggage.

There were various concerns with the room throughout the stay but they were addressed quickly by the staff. Customer service was excellent.
Unfortunately, we (2 friends) were assigned a room where the bathroom is open concept so this was a little too intimate and little inconvenient. The booking was for 2 rooms where the other friends' room had a private bathroom so felt this was weird that they did not give the same room type for the booking.

Overall not really a 5 star at all.. had to pay for bottles water at the breakfast buffet, and they never indicated… also the shower situation is difficult as it’s so strong you have to aim it to the side so that it doesn’t leak out of the hotel.

The staff are friendly though and the location of the hotel is excellent

The hotel room was very spacious and bright. We had good closet and storage space. The king-sized bed was very comfortable although we didn't like the pillows. We liked that the room had hardwood floors, considering most hotel rooms are carpeted.

Noise level was adequate. We were woken several times by doors being slammed. We also heard dogs barking from the courtyard that faced the room.

Something odd was that we sneezed A LOT as soon as we entered the room. Something in the room was definitely triggering our allergies.

I loved my stay here and my biggest regret was not staying at this hotel my entire trip. The room was impeccable and the staff was always attentive and responsive to my needs. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the noise from the doors closing from other rooms. They close too hard and constantly make a loud banging throughout the day. I would however definitely stay here again

Everything was great. The staff was very welcoming and caring. The room was clean and comfortable. So many restaurant options around. The neighborhood is lovely, we loved taking a walk at night.The only downside of our stay: our room was near a very noisy ice machine that always went on early in the morning. But other than this, I would 100% recommend.

I took a few days to reflect on my stay, and while the hotel looks modern and trendy, the service was the worst I’ve experienced. On arrival there was only one towel for two guests, and we soon realized the bathroom had a transparent glass door with no lock —odd for privacy— plus a mini-fridge that didn’t cool, and complaints brought no improvement. The next morning breakfast had been relocated, apparently for repairs; our scrambled eggs had a strong “fishy” taste and only after complaining were ranch eggs offered. That afternoon, 5:30 p.m., our room was still dirty. The following day, after ordering cakes via room service, staff accidentally left the Do Not Disturb light on, so we returned exhausted to an unmade room. Later, when moving us to another room, our luggage wasn’t delivered, the key sent us to the wrong floor, and without an activated card I couldn’t even reach reception —beyond tiring. On our last evening we came back at 8 p.m. to find the room unclean again; no empathy, no refund, just frustration. At checkout they also charged breakfasts never mentioned as extra: the first booking included them, the second didn’t. The whole place feels like a “Gen Z trap”: glass bathrooms, no towel hooks, nowhere to rest a toiletry bag, and a toy fridge —cool but impractical. Even the windows were grimy, suggesting little attention to external cleaning. Staff weren’t rude, yet they rarely solved anything, leaving us upset despite the attractive facilities. Sadly, I won’t return

I really enjoyed the hotel design and amenities. It was generally quiet - with the exception of the construction occurring during the week, which I felt the hotel should have disclosed upfront upon or before booking. Also, they have a policy that all guests must bring physical ID and keep it at the front desk, which they should announce on check in (a good friend traveled a long way to visit me and was turned away as they did not have ID on them, only a picture).

The staff were very accommodating and the circumstances were somewhat out of their control, but they did the best they could to make our stay pleasant. Positively speaking the area is unbeatable and walkable to many restaurants, parks and is conveniently located in La Condessa. We arrived early, very early and the staff got us into our room without hesitation. When we got to our room the construction and banging on the roof was relentless; tired and exhausted from our 3am start we attempted to sleep through the racket. We called to the front desk and they changed our room. We had to request a refrigerator change since the one we had was not working. We moved from our skyline room with tub to a second floor terrace. This could have been good except for the rain preventing the use of the outdoor space most of our stay, the view of the skyline was now gone and our tub for relaxing was no more. In addition there was water seeping through the floor from the terrace and the room itself looked a bit worn out. This was a 50th. Birthday celebration for my husband and the staff sent a card and cake to our room. We were glad to be able to sleep quietly but with some compromises. This was an ok experience, for the accommodations. The staff was outstanding, they did all they could to help us make our stay as pleasant as possible but the Mondrian chain should review the rooms and make adjustments to ensure guests have a great experience. No services offered as a consolation

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Condesa hotel on our first trip to Mexico City. The staff were outstanding—Jaime in particular went above and beyond, and concierges Gustavo and Salvador were incredibly helpful with tips and bookings. Breakfast was delicious with attentive service, and the location was perfect: safe for evening walks and surrounded by great dining options. We can’t wait to return!

A functioning toilet is the bare minimum

Soon after we arrived in our room, we found that the water in the toilet wouldn't go down. Exhausted from a day of travel, we called down and a maintenance worker soon arrived. He tinkered for about 20 minutes, then departed, saying the issue was fixed. It was. For one flush. Then it started again. We called a 2nd time and he returned. Tinkered for another 20 minutes. By this time we'd given 40 minutes of our time to toilet maintenance. He again said it was fixed..., but when we went to use it the next morning, it was Poop Cruise in our room. Upon check-out, we described what had happened. ZERO response, zero credit.

This high-concept hotel has clearly sacrificed guest comfort & hygiene for ultramodern design. It's the Tesla syndrome - looks fab, but you might not survive it. Witness the bathroom sink. Unless you enjoy co-existing with your own toothpaste spit, why would you install a nearly-flat surface that can't be rinsed by the faucet?

Mexican hospitality standards are the finest in the world, and we've greatly enjoyed hotels both below and above this place's price point. There's just no reason to subject yourself to a hotel that doesn't care about the hygiene of its guests.

The Mondrian was cozy! It lacked typical amenities like spa/pool/microwaves in room but the rooms were sized well, beds are comfy. The staff is amazing. Very approachable, kind and helpful. The hotel is walkable to local coffee shops!

I stayed here for 9 nights and from start to finish it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The entire staff was warm and welcoming but in particular front desk serviceman Carlos and bellman Adrian were absolutely amazing. They were kind, funny, and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a nice stay in Condesa. The breakfast was fantastic and the Flower Shop was perfect for late night chocolate croissants. The terrace and city view were out of the world. I will be back to this wonderful hotel…hopefully very soon!
