We have been staying in this hotel, usually during the Christmas / New Year holidays, for more than 20 years and despite the recent re-decoration in the rooms and public areas many elements of it currently are as bad as we have seen.

During our stay from 26.12.25 to 03.01.26 the things that were particularly poor were :

1. The condition of the shower room, which looked as though it had not been updated since the first time we stayed here, in particular the old fashioned and inadequate shower and tap heads; the shabby condition of the tiles and grouting both on the floor and in the shower enclosure; the ultra-cheap seat and fittings on the WC and worst of all, the lack of hot water on 5 of the 8 days we stayed, despite having complained about it three times.

2. The noisy and old-fashioned air-conditioning in the bedroom.

3. The old-fashioned and inadequate lighting in the bedroom.

4. The Television which although it was a modern SMART TV was much too small for the room and very complicated to operate, particularly as there were no instructions for it.

5. The armchair in the bedroom was in shabby condition and quite uncomfortable.

6. The level of staffing and service in the restaurant / breakfast room was completely inadequate even though there were few guests at the hotel. On two days there were no staff visible at all when we entered the dining room. We ate in the restaurant once and were served the worst “Misto Quente” we had ever tasted.

Nice hotel just opposite the shopping mall. Food choices at the mall if you don't want to eat at hotel, otherwise you will need to get a taxi to go to other places.

No provision of space to sit with colleagues and work. Can be difficult to get a drink at the bar as the staff are focused on the restaurants

I have never done this before, but I actually considered asking to be refunded for my stay at this hotel. I traveled around Brazil for 10 days, staying at 3 different locations, and this hotel was the worst I've ever stayed in. No one told me the room was solar powered, so I thought the electricity was out in the room. There were holes in the wall and trash on the floor when I checked in. The light fixtures were pulling out of the wall and the furniture was falling apart. The WiFi didn't work in my room, and the TV was not hooked up, so it only played one channel, and no one from the hotel was willing or able to fix this. The room next to me played their TV loudly all night long and seemed to be an adjoining room to mine, so I couldn't sleep. The halls were dark and it was impossible to see. The first floor of the hotel and the restaurants are lovely, camoflouging the crumbling, dirty, non-functioning upper floors. The quality of the room was more in line with a hostel than a hotel. The overall cleanliness, quality of the room and amenities, and level of service, does not match the price of the room in any way.

Amazing service and very friendly. I had a unique travel situation and the hotel was very flexible with an early check-in ad late check-out. Everyone was very friendly, the room was huge and super comfortable. Easy access to BH Shopping and other stuff nearby.

Good hotel but far from airport

I only stayed a night here and this is my second time in Belo staying at the same hotel. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It is very far from the airport specially if you arrive or leave during rush hour. I may have to switch to another hotel only because of the distance but overall I would stay here again

Multiple mistakes/troubles.
1.They can't locate our reservation
2.They do Not to clean the room appropriately 2 nights continuously.
3. We paid junior suite, and they gave the standard room.
4. Very unprofessional front desk manager

Many of the staff speak English which helps me tremendously as they have arranged various things for me that would have been challenging for me otherwise. I have stayed at this hotel every year for the last seven years on my business trips to Belo and the service and accommodations are consistently excellent. The hotel staff are all friendly and most of the front desk staff speak good to very good English. Rafael was very helpful and courteous and he assisted with a challenging Uber situation. Patricia at the front desk is professional and has great customer service skills. Carlos the bellman has been there for several years and is always helpful and wears a big smile! My only issue this time was with breakfast as it wasn’t very good. The selection was limited, the fruit was of only mediocre quality and both the hard boiled eggs and the scrambled egg dish were essentially inedible. Otherwise my stay was really good! They also have a good fitness center which is unusual at many Brazilian hotels and this is a requirement for me. Very pleased!!

Business trip arrived early before check in & Rafael on reception was excellent organising my room straight away. Service excellent, food very good, good buffet breakfast. Hotel situated on busy road so rooms at rear best for light sleepers. Large shopping centre, food outlets nearby.

It is not worth it to reserve via Expedia, since the Expedia rate was worse than reserving with the hotel, and the Expedia rate did not cover breakfast (which had I reserved locally, would have been covered. Disappointed with Expedia.

Complimentary breakfast not included in room price

The expedia.com.au website states that the booking of this hotel comes with a complimentary buffet breakfast.
"A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning between 6 AM and 10:30 AM"
It seems that complimentary in English does not translate to "included in the price" in Portuguese.
I would recommend that the web page for this particular hotel is updated so that another potential guest does not fail to book this hotel thinking that they will get breakfast included.

Kudos to the Hotel Manager - Once I presented the details of the website information to the hotel staff they have assured me that they will honour the English version of complimentary.

O café da manhã foi impecável, o atendimento da recepção excelente e o quarto estava em perfeitas condições.

A única observação negativa refere-se ao serviço do bar da piscina. Consideramos o atendimento demorado, com poucas opções de bebidas, além de porções pequenas em relação aos valores cobrados.

Hospedamo-nos para comemorar nosso aniversário de casamento e gostaríamos de desfrutar de um drink na piscina, porém fomos informados de que os drinks só eram servidos a partir das 18h, horário em que já não estaríamos mais no hotel.

Por esse motivo, acabamos ficando um pouco decepcionados com esse serviço específico, embora os demais aspectos da hospedagem tenham sido muito positivos.

Fica próximo ao shopping, mas não fui lá. Não é perto de locais como Savassi, mas para minha finalidade foi OK. A note relativa se deve ao fato de que achei o custo-benefício não muito vantajoso, isto é, um hotel que já precisa de reforma com um preço muito alto de diárias que não oferecia café da manhã. Um pouco menos de US$200 por diária sem nenhum atrativo maior em minha opinião.

Queríamos passar um fim de semana romântico, a reserva foi feita para um quarto com cama de casal; fomos direcionados para um quarto com duas camas de solteiro e como se não bastasse o quarto era compartilhado onde o vizinho manteve a televisão ligada a noite inteira conversando em alto tom de voz.

Achei caro pelo o que oferece mas cama boa, quarto grande, ducha boa.
As toalhas precisam trocar, ja estao bem usadas, achei com cheiro meio estranho também.
O papel higienico de péssima qualidade. Iluminação do banheiro e quarto são muito ruins, não consegui me arrumar direito pra um evento que tinha.

Problemas no check in, que não foi encontrado, mesmo mostrando o recibo e confirmação de reserva, que tinha recebido da Hotels.com. Atrasou bastante, sendo que tive que enviar 3 e mails para confirmar que tinha reservado e pago a reserva do hotel. Não encontravam na recepção.
Depois de muita espera, foi encontrada a reserva e me subiram para uma suite premium, que foi um desastre. De madrugada, parecia que tinha uma cachoeira dentro do quarto.

O Caesar é um hotel regular.
A localização é ao mesmo tempo uma vantagem e um baita problema. Mesmo os apartamentos do fundo do terreno sofrem com barulho da avenida. O hotel não tem preparo acústico nas janelas comuns. Não há nenhum acabamento nas portas dos apartamentos e cada vez que alguém entra e sai, o barulho no corredor é bem alto e incomoda.
Noite mal dormida, de baixa qualidade, mesmo para quem dorme fácil e tem sono pesado como eu.
Os apartamentos são espaçosos mas vazios, com mobiliário de bem mediano. Já precisam de reforma.
Café da manhã de R$51, bem comum.
Sinceramente eu não me hospedaria lá novamente.

Um hotel que não vale o custo beneficio. Tem um bom restaurante Japonês anexo e só. com 50% da tarifa reduzida vale a pena. O atendimento mediano apesar de simpáticos pouco proativos. Um hotel com essa tarifa cobra café da manha a parte. A limpeza do box do banheiro não existia. Vidros do box muito sujos. Academia nao reflete o perfil do hotel. Esta ao lado de um dos principias shoppings da cidade.
