Well presented and reasonably clean, rooms were quiet. A tea towel would have been handy particularly as there isn't a proper draining area for crockery in the kitchen. Our main issue was our 12 year old cut her foot open on the filter in the swimming pool. Staff provided first aid but there was limited apology or responsibility taken. We were advised that the cover was loose and has since been resolved but we weren't convinced. A 4 hour wait at the walk in centre and our daughther unable to walk far meant we weren't able to do what we had planned during our stay.

No restaurant, and the breakfast option was properly NAFF but the apartment (not a room but a whole apartment) was lovely and the pool/gym facilities were so nice it didn't really matter. Well worth at the price I paid. Cheaper than the ones in Blackpool, 5 mins down the road

We had an amazing stay as a family with two teenage girls. There was plenty to do and see in the local area, and the hotel itself was excellent - very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff were polite, helpful, and genuinely friendly, which made a big difference.
The pool was a highlight for us - we used it three times during our stay and loved it! Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

Extremely disappointed & disgusted we have stayed previously only this time we brought our parents children & Australian family to stay booked two rooms. The room was meant to be deep cleaned but on arrival the bed had Feaces marks all over the sheet food & dog hair & pubic and head hair it was honestly disgusting to arrive to this level of filthy hygiene there is massive issue throught all rooms with extreme Sewage smell in one room we had to move for one night untill the bed issue was sorted was the most ransid smell the manager Daniel came upto smell and agreed it was awful and he would refund one night stay as our children or us couldn't sleep it was vulgar. Daniel agreed when we checked out he would do the refund. Myself husband and children decided to leave the hotel our children sick we couldn't stay with the smell dirt & no heating. When my father checked out Daniel was very rude refused any type of refund so went against totally what was agreed. I called to discuss this to be given rude arrogent attitude and told I should lie to Hotels.com and should not have given an honest review. He said on the call no refund will be given due to me telling Hotels.com. The lack of professionalism is disgraceful we have asked for the owner to contact us because the hotel has definitely went downhill its sad to see as this was somewhere we recommend but not after this awful experience. He told me to post my pictures complain he didnt care that he had made an agreement no refund digr

We had a lovely stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our little boy loved using the swimming pool. The location was perfect with less than 5 mins to the beach and into town.
A few minor points, the shower was not very powerful and sadly our room was not as clean as would be have expected. Whilst the intake and go breakfast was welcomed, the pastries were a little dry.

Overall a lovely overnight stay. Great location.
Although small, the apartment has everything you could need (room 303). Would prefer a larger bed and would usually book a room with a super king, but as this was a last minute booking, we had no option as this was the only room available. The pool area was nice, with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. The only negative was that the room was too warm and due to being on the ground floor felt unable to leave windows open due to security.

Hotel itself was nice and stsff were friendly but there was an awful smell in the room, possibly linked to the drains. Also the steam room and sauna facilities werent working. Given that i had accidentally double booked i thought the non-working facilities may have aided my cause in getting a refund for the surplus booking but apparently not.

On the surface all is well above par but once you dig a little deeper it does reveal a few disappointments. There is nothing terrible, rather attention to detail which is lacking.
The kitchen is to be admired for its scale and quality. On the surface one of the best i have seen especially at this price point. The only thing is that once you get tired of opening up empty cupboards you eventually get to only a handful of items. To be honest if the hotel only wanted to provide two of everything it could have perhaps saved some money and halved the size of the kitchen.
There was an absence of some necessary kitchen items which had to be asked for. To the credit of the staff this was addressed immediately for which we were grateful. That being said, careful checks prior to each occupation would prevent such occurences.
The floor on the kitchen could have been cleaner. We spilled a little water on the floor and when cleaning it up with a towel, the once white towel was white no longer. That is avoidable. We had no issues anywhere else and everywhere else was clean enough.
The sofa bed was pretty much useless to sit on. The cushions kept moving around and even falling off just by the simple act of sitting down and standing up. We retreated to the bed to watch tv instead.
The rest of the apartment though was very nice and of a good standard. The staff were very helpful and polite.

Pluses - Top notch cleanliness, couldn’t fault it. Sheets and towels are immaculately white. Room was spotless. All kitchen equipment was sparkling. Once I figured out a fuse had tripped in the kitchen, everything worked perfectly. All the utensils I needed apart from a corkscrew. I paid £20 for 2 dogs for 2nights and they loved it. Lovely ESPA products in bathroom. Lots of extra linen and pillows if needed. The hotel is opposite Ashton Gardens and handy to the charming rows of shops in town. The pool is lovely and def a bonus.

The room layout is confusing - the furniture seems in the wrong place making tight squeezes and obstructed views annoying. Carpet worn in stairwells. Our stay exceeded expectations! The apartment was excellent value for money, offering a clean and comfortable space. The location is perfect—just a 3-minute walk to the sea and with an Aldi conveniently across the road. On-site parking was a huge bonus, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, close to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great communication prior to arrival. Our room was very comfortable, with excellent amenities, and nice bathroom products. The beds were comfortable, with nice quality bedding. The towels were also good quality. The lounge area would have benefited from some soft lighting by way of lamps, and the sofa would have been more comfortable with cushions. Although the apartment was clean on the whole, we felt there was a little room for improvement. The skirting boards were quite grubby in places, and the light in the bathroom was a little dusty. This would not deter us from staying here again though. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the swimming pool. Overall this hotel got a thumbs up from us….and we are quite fussy.

This property does not meet the standards of a five-star rating, warranting a maximum of three stars. The pool is not heated and lacks recirculation, the jacuzzi was non-operational, and the steam room was small and not functioning properly. The rooms resemble an apartment with a kitchen and a kids' room, giving it a homely feel akin to an Airbnb, also it had a stench to it.

Very welcoming and helpful front desk. Put our bags in the room early and helped us order a taxi. Room was lovely, really spacious (big lounge and kitchen area), bed was very comfy and high quality bedding. Couldn’t fault this place and will definitely return.

Don't let yourselves get fooled by the \"5 star hotel\" description in Expedia, because this hotel doesn't even meet the standards of a 4 star hotel. If you do a quick search through My Hotel original website, you won't find anything about this Hotel being a 5 star one. Considering this was supposed to be a 5star hotel with breakfast extra paid, the room wasn't the cleanest whilst nice interior I found quite abit of dust within environment which I wouldn't expect when it should of been cleaned before we arrived. Breakfast was also very, very poor. Literally croissants and cereal that's it. No bread for toast hot service anything even when I asked for cultery so we could eat croissants at tables got avery disgruntled member of staff saying she would get a \"staff\" knife

Car park does not have sufficient parking for the property, and I’m pretty sure people who are not guests use the car parking as there are no parking enforcement schemes or reg number notifications in the hotel.

This was a small loft room with very small windows and not a great amount of natural light .We had to climb three flights to reach the room with heavy cases .There was no soap or shampoo in bathroom.How they consider themselves as Five star is unbelievable .There was a mechanical door entry system for the main door which we couldnt see clearly to open as they were no lighting outside .

The sofa was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat on. We couldn’t sit on it for any period of time. This has taken a star off the rating. That plus some drunken people wandering the building in the early hours being very loud and swearing. Not something you want when you pay to stay in a nice place with your kids and lots of other families around.

My 4 year old woke up in the night at 1.10am, confused (as didnt know where he was) and when he went looking for us, he actually went out the main door to the corridor and up the stairs (we were on the first floor). It wasnt until we heard him crying through the walls that we shocked awake and went looking for him.
The night receptionist, was on and heard what had happened, but our son went up the stairs so didn't really see anything.
We got him and brought him to our bed so that it wouldnt happen again.
The reason this had happened is because the door didn't have a child lock on it, it locked but as soon as you pull the handle down from the inside it opened.
I would suggest chain locks need to be added to the doors to prevent this happening to anyone else, as this could've have been a much worse situation for us.
Apart from this we did have a plesent. I would say take tea towels and an oven glove though if you're going.

Hall way carpet really dirty which didnt make a good start. Very noisy fuse box and them subsequent power failure. Reception staff didnt have a torce for emergency backup so had to re pack my room with light from my phone. Moved to another room ( ground floor) where one of the sash windows lock was broken.
