Great hotel, can't really fault it.

I booked very late on the same day for work purposes and they called to let me know a wedding was on and my room was directly over it, they offered to waive any fees if i were to cancel which I appreciated.

I went anyway but it's great communication by the hotel to call and mention the wedding,

The noise in the room was crazy, but it died down at 10:30 and stopped completely at 11pm so not bad and I was warned so no complaints there.

The room itself was very comfortable and spacious, had a great night's sleep in the bed and the rain shower was great.

I had dinner and breakfast here and both were very good.

Overall, highly recommended and I will be back!

The hotel was beautiful Georgian style. The Kintyre suite was spacious and the bed was very very comfortable. The jacuzzi bath was a great treat. Hotel staff were friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was perfect, lots of options ( nice brown bread) and honey! The general atmosphere was relaxed. Not too far from Stirling and the Highlands were we ventured to next..

The excellent Dalmeny Park

Stayed here previously and enjoyed the experience and glad to say the quality and service is exactly the same, top notch. Excellent room with great amenities this one even had a whirl spa bath. The menu is great and the food is superbly presented and so delicious and the service is excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed staying and have already booked back in. Nice quiet location lots of safe onsite parking. Promised I would mention the breakfast servers Norma and Terri who do a superb job.

Poor regard for customers from GM

The last few times I have been there they allow non electric cars to park at their public charge points
Spoke to the GM who showed little interest and blamed the owners
I pointed out that they were public charge points and he didn’t know that
I asked if they could monitor it and ask customers to move and he said no he couldn’t but would write to the owners and express my views 🤔Incidentally the rest of the staff are very good !!!

Last minute booking, very good value, very late check in (11.30pm)
Night porter expecting us, helped with bags, room lovely and warm. Bed amazingly comfortable, and bathroom so clean you could eat dinner in there. (Joking)
Breakfast included in price, staff very helpful. Full scottish breakfast, and changes to it no problem.

This is a hotel we have stayed at previously and would stay again and again.

The restaurant is also fantastic

We are here now sheltering from storm Eowyn. The staff are very attentive, but right now, there are no guests in any public areas, and the staff are patrolling the hotel and grounds looking for storm damage. They have staff ready to make repairs where necessary. Personally i think this is amazing

Upscale property more like a large house converted to a hotel, no amenities and facilities not worth the price. Stay was lackluster due to no lift or elevator to the upper floors had to carry all the baggage’s though the stairs, broke my back almost, no fridge in the room no shower handle in bathroom, no shower curtain, after a shower the bathroom felt like a swimming pool as the water from the narrow bathtub without proper shower curtain fell all over the bathroom floor. Room key is hit and miss had to change couple of times and still didn’t work out. No AC , no fan in the hot weather, over all a disappointment

Very nice hotel in a good location. Easy to park and rooms very good. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was also good. Visit completely spoiled as the bath plug was broken and the reception on the television was so bad that it was unwatchable. I complained to the receptionist who said someone would look at the problems when I was out. When I returned to my room a few hours later there was no difference so I don't know if anyone even looked at the issues. On departure I complained to the receptionist and requested that a manager called me, but six hours later I am still waiting for a call. The room is advertised with a bath and a television, and that's what I paid for but unfortunately I wasn't able to use either - Simply not good enough!

The Hotel is set in a quiet area within Barrhead in lovely grounds. Plenty of free onsite parking. Beautiful vista as you approach the front of the building. Classic and modern inside. Friendly helpful welcome and directions to the room from Andrew and offered to take my bags to the room. The evening meals were delicious and menu choice was good and interesting. Lynne the maitre D on the evening shift made me feel welcome and comfortable. Terry and Norma on the breakfast shift were friendly and good attentive service. The food was the right amount with good presentation and fabulous flavour. The room was newly refurbished and very comfortable the only thing lacking is air conditioning. Thanks for a great stay we’ll be back.

We were advised about prom night on 26th which was fine, but not about wedding on the mondsy night our room was in extension near the wedding function and they had a live band. The noise in room was terrible. We phoned reception to be told the wedding was to go on until 1am . The duty manager moved us to a quiter room which was appreciated. I think with a little thought the hotel should have put us in the older part of the hotel and away from the noise.

Despite being a lovely hotel, every time I stay I can’t sleep due to doors slamming & people talking in the corridors in the early hours. Food was a disaster. Waited 1ams half hours for soup which was just peppered water & frozen bread!

Also there were people running between rooms in the middle of the night making a lot of noise. I mentioned this to staff on checkout and they didn’t seem bothered and no apology given .

I booked this hotel through hotels.com and we absolutely loved it!!! Great location, the place is just stunning the service was amaIng everyone is so polite and so friendly, one of the reasons we picked this hotel was because it included breakfast in the price of the room, and to be honest, I have been to many hotels around the world and this one was the best, might not be the biggest but the breakfast was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I honestly thought we were just going to get a basic buffet, but no, the buffet was amazing and then on top of that you can order a la carte😀 we were 3, so my husband ordered a full scottish breakfast, I ordered eggs royale, and my son pankakes with bacon and syrup, all included in the price!!🤯, they bring coffee and tea to the table and you also have a buffet with amazing food too!, the room we stayed at was HUGE!😳 beautiful and the bed was comfortable the sheets were soft, fresh and crispy my God, I swear, this place did not disappoint at all, it was the most amazing stay ever! Thank you!. Im sorry ive been trying to upload pictures but the page is not working very well! It wont let me!

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Lovely people. This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. It’s a quiet semi-rural setting (though the rooms are noisy and a slamming door woke me).
The food is impeccable. Some of the best cuisine I had anywhere during my trip to the UK.
I can’t wait to stay here again. It’s removed from Glasgow, but close enough to make it work for business or leisure. This place is a best kept secret.

We came here a few years ago at Christmas and loved it. So we booked it again for our wedding anniversary. Overall we loved it again food great service great the suite was to die for and the bath wow. The only down side is I was not told there was a wedding on and as we where there for a quiet getaway this did spoil my night's sleep as I am a light sleeper. I mentioned it at the desk and they did say they usually let people know but I must of slipped through the net. I ordered champagne and chocolates to our room as it was a special night and the manager waved the fee for these extras without me even asking which was really nice. Just check if there is a wedding on is my only advice the rest of the stay was great
