Hotel is open when construction and repairs going on lots of things doesn’t work , Rooms are dark and insufficient light , gym not open , I asked for refrigerador or microwave in rooms , internet on and off
But staff are very good nice and works well and hard cleaning staff are excellent, I prepaid with breakfast but never do that !!!

1. No full wall between the bathroom and the bathing area. So no full privacy.
2. Poorly maintained duvet covers
3. No ACTUAL CURTAINS to block light
4. No refrigerator
5. They had a coffee maker but I had to put it on the FLOOR to plug it in and use it.
6. There WAS a room phone, but no dial tone/not connected.
7. A man stayed screaming about how much he hated American and wanted to kill us all in the hallway several times. When we called the front desk, he said he’d send “house keeping” up to deal with it.

Honestly, a really poor experience. Oh, and there was approximately 8 inches of space to walk between one bed and the wall, in order to get to the other bed and ac unit.

The hotel room was super clean, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and kind.
It was a bit noisy since the construction isn’t finished yet, and it was a shame we couldn’t check out the pool—but we still had a really great time.
For the price, the facilities were clean and nice.
Especially the room with the “Egypt” carpet— we had such a lovely time there with friends 💛

The room was nice, but the water in the shower was either burning hot or cold no in between. Also a last minute change was that the week of our trip, maintenance and construction began so there were no amenities available besides the bar. Not even the fitness room was accessible.

Was charged for parking in an open lot next to a main road but with no security at all. Anyone could park in the lot but the hotel imposed a daily charge. They even confirmed there was no security personnel to monitor the lot or track the parking. But the hotel required a charge.

The sinks were odd. Using the sink meant water would get on the mirror above the sink because they were so close to each other.

No hand soap supplied in the room.

No kleenix but it is winter and Kleenex are needed.

The room lighting is too dark; thus difficult to work in the room after 5:00.

Not bad, not great. Nylo used to shine a little brighter years ago.

Easy in/out access to the location, however why do we have to pay $10 per day for parking in a regular parking lot? No garage, no outside security, no nothing. Nickel and diming where they can, I suppose.

Rooms are just okay. Very small. The industrial style hotel design and rooms are super outdated. Bed was okay, bed linens were horrible. The room bathrooms are open air above which provides no privacy or warmth. No central air so the window unit was tricky, hard to keep a solid temp and the unit itself needed to be cleaned as after night one, we had sinus issues.

Food was mediocre at best, they had breakfast buffet (motel style) and then closed til 4pm so NO lunch option on site. Dinner was very \"bar food\" style.

Gym was small but clean and enough options to get a good workout.

Office meeting spaces were small but doable.

No onsite business center.

Hotel convenience store area was severely lacking.

Staff was fine. No major issues to deal with. Check in/out was fast.

I wouldnt stay here on business. Its more geared toward \"twenty something\" year old travelers.

Great location as its close to alot of dining and shopping options and major roads.

The staff were AMAZING. Which is why I didn’t give a 1 star. My bf and I usually stay at Marriott properties or Sheraton properties and decided to step out of those and try something new. We picked NYLO Dallas based on a tiktok review. I understand this hotel is a boutique hotel but what I didn’t expect was the strong scent of hip and young hitting our nose when we opened the door. It was like walking into an Hollister clothing store and we didn’t like it. Room was small, nothing special. We fought with the shower handle because the shower temperature couldn’t regulate. We would set the temperature to warm, and then it changes to piping hot (yes, my skin was a bit burnt but not too bad.. was bright red), to freezing cold. It just couldn’t keep a regular temperature. The shampoo conditioner and body wash was below average. The sink was too small. For the price we paid, we were very disappointed.
Customer service reached out and asked if there was anything they could do.. we didn’t offer any solution because we were only there another night. We made it very clear that it was not staff.. but the property itself. We also paid for parking.. which I found odd. I’ve paid for parking before but only for gated parking with security on premises or at a resort. Price was too high for what they offered in room.

The fire alarm went off at 7:45am on the first morning and it was WAY TOO LOUD. The walls and floor are concrete and the noise was literally so deafening that I couldn't even think my way out of that room let alone walk out. I don't even think the decibel level of the alarm was to code standards. NFPA 72 and many local codes limit fire alarm appliances to a maximum sound pressure level of 110 dBA at the minimum hearing distance from the appliance, which would be from the perspective of a person standing under the alarm. There is no way that this passes code given the concrete floors / ceiling.

but to their credit the staff was very nice and they gave me some points on some account that I can't easily access without spending 30 minutes to fix something (for whatever that's worth).

Everything else about this hotel I really like. Staff was very nice and I like this modern architecture. Desk was big. I was able to do lots of work. The free wifi was a very decent rate of 80 mbps download... I can't remember the upload. Everything about this hotel is good... except the fire alarm.

I'd come here again... but not before having earplugs
ready to go in an emergency.

The staff was great, and the room was clean. There are NO extras like in other rooms I have stayed in—no refrigerator, microwave, extra pillows, or full-length mirror.

The room was a bit claustrophobic; you are surrounded by concrete, giving it a very industrial feel, especially with the overhead exposed fire sprinkler piping. The lighting was not bright, making reading difficult. The bathroom sink does not allow for comfortable teeth brushing or face washing; it just feels \"off\". Again, NOTHING wrong with the room, it was just not what I was expecting.

Everything was cold looking and gray - kind of depressing. Bathroom door wouldn’t slide all the way shut and that sink is so tiny! Bathroom felt like it was in the bed space - kind of weird. I did like the art at the hotel. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I did not have breakfast. The front desk staff was nice & helpful. The maintenance guy that came to my room to fix the tv, which was never fixed, said he was going to go “check a switch” & would come back. This was @ 9:00 pm & by 9:45 he still was not back. I called downstairs & told the front desk guy to cancel him coming back. Really frustrating & ridiculous! The tv guide on the tv does not match the channels. I found ABC on the on screen guide, clicked it but it was not ABC but the History Channel. None of the tv stations were correct. The guy who came to my room had no idea what the hell the issue was or how to fix it! Also, there was no thermostat on the wall—was completely gone. Only way to control a/c was on the unit itself & “auto” did not work. I had to turn it down to 61 to get the room cooled down. A very disappointing & frustrating stay! Will not ever do a NYLO property again.

In our room, the blinds couldn’t roll up, so we were either stuck in pitch blackness or had to rig it to sit diagonal in the window to allow some light in. The color was almost out on the tv making it impossible to see. The bathroom door is one of those sliding barnyard doors and it wouldn’t close all the way, so if you were laying on the bed, you could see whoever was using the bathroom in all their glory. The shower itself has a half dome that you can see the outline of whoever is taking a shower if the light is on in the bathroom. They tell you that you need a parking decal to park there, but fail to tell you that you have to pay to park for every day that you are there. The concession area was not stocked for the three days that I stayed there, so if I needed medicine or snacks late at night, I was out of luck. The pool was closed during our stay for unknown reasons. Would not recommend.

The staff checked in each day via text messaging and actually interacted with text, not just a generic message. Hotel is so cute, I loved the decor. My room smelled subtly of essential oil (sandalwood?), great touch. Parking was easy and plentiful. So much shopping and eating options in the area. This was perfect for me in my down time. I highly recommend this hotel!

To start got there at 4:30, checked in and room wasn’t ready. We had issues with the shower not turning on, dryer wasn’t working, and the day we were checking out there was a foul order coming from the bathroom. When we went to shower again there was black stuff on the shower floor that smelled so bad.

I loved my room and my bathroom.
My AC was making some noise and they sent an engineer to repair it immediately. They even offered a room change but I stayed in my room.
The room is spacious and the bathroom is great. I read someone complaining about the small sink. Yet the sink is small but I don't see what the problem is.
Great patio and great pool.
The morning coffee was okay but next door at walking distance there is a great Starbucks and Neckter for fresh smoothies and juices so I was all set.
Loved the lobby, the gym and all the other lounge areas as well.
Loved Dallas Plano NYLO!

Checked in to room. Room was 78 degrees. Turned it down and then got ready to get dinner. Went to get dinner, was out for a few hours. Came back and room was still 78 degrees. Every time I left the room to do something, I always came back to a hot 78 degree room. Front desk offered me another room, but that room was at 78 also.

Tv was broken and did not work, toilet flushed every 5 minutes on its own. Told the staff at front office and they said they were aware of the tv issues and were experiencing issues in certain rooms, they said there was nothing they could do about it.

I provided feedback after my stay to hotel and they said they would get back with me. They never did which was even more frustrating. For $150 a night, for 2 nights, I feel I they took advantage of me, my kindness, and my wallet.

I do not recommend and will never stay at another nylo hotel.

Filthy, Unsafe & STAY AWAY!

Worst experience my wife & I have ever had at a Hilton Property! The AC didn’t work in the first room…The TV didn’t work & the thermostat was ripped off the wall in the second room…Finally at 9:30pm we were moved to the third room! Pictures; The bottom of the AC was ripped off @ exposed…The TV would not work at all…Lastly, two pictures of the filthy, unsafe to swim in
pool. STAY AWAY!!
