If you want fancy, this is not your place, if you liked the movie Dirty Dancing, book it! Did not have one bad meal and the food was delicious! Not a lot for kids to do, but it’s a great place to ditch the cell phones and play some board games. Accommodations are not really updated but are clean! No complaints. Staff are always helpful. I will go back!

We stayed for 6 days 5 nights. The location is spectacular. We purchased the meal plan which was a great value, and the ocean grill food was delicious!. Staff were excellent and helpful. The beach area is excellent. Rooms were nice but dated. Our room needed some minor plumbing repairs. There are 2 restaurants to choose from. One offers fine dining the other more average fare.
The only thing I would improve is update the rooms a little and add some additional outlets and usb ports in the room.

This is a family-run business and it really shows in the service and courtesy of everyone working here. Even the brothers that own the resort are very accessible and it was a real treat to have free shuttle rides offered to some local amenities. Room was clean and very spacious. However, I didn't like being right next to ( Rm # 3) the Pickleball Courts. Very annoying if you're trying to relax. Either that room needs to be shut down or those courts need to be moved. Stay away from room #3 next to those courts. Also, didn't like the many birds in the dining areas . The staff was always friendly.

The views from Pompano are spectacular, you'll never have seen so many shades of blue - from aqua to deep blue, irrespective of the weather. It's stunning and the hotel is very well located if you want a fabulous beach stay, or fishing. The water is clear enough to see parrot fish from a balcony a couple of floors up. Lots of areas to sit and relax in. Comfortable rooms. The staff and friendly and helpful.

The only person I think may benefit from some coaching is McCal in the Cedar Room restaurant. He was not very friendly and actually snapped at me during one of my interactions with him.

I loved that this property had an absolutely beautiful beach. The water was crystal clear and shallow far out into the ocean. The food at both restaurants was incredible! The staff was very helpful and friendly. My major complaint about this property was having no clear warning about the amount of stairs (limited accessibility for people with strollers, in wheelchairs, or with mobility issues). I have a bad knee, so I had to take things very slow, and was sore most days. I did appreciate having three hot tubs to chose from, but there were some issues with temperature control (some hot tubs were luke warm while others were scalding hot). Lastly, I called ahead to make sure there were no facility closures or construction at the hotel before arriving, and was told \"everything is open except the water sports\"). In reality, the spa closed the day after we arrived, which was frustrating because the spa was one of the main reasons I chose Pompano. Wish I had gotten more spa options. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying at Pompano.

Not sure how this is a 4 star hotel, it’s not clean and the hotel appears very old. Room had a wet smell with old bathroom mats on the floor which you wouldn’t even want to step on. Overall it gives motel vibe.

Our stay at Pompano Beach as above and beyond all expectations. The staff is so friendly, helpful and accommodating for any and all needs. You don’t need to leave the resort unless you want to and then they’ll help you make it happen. The meal plan is phenomenal and if you want to eat off premises it’s easy to modify. We’ll be back for sure and hope to bring more family for the wonderful experience of Ponpano.

We did pay for our dinners in advance, and very glad we did. Every meal was fantastic. I'm sure I gained wait, surprisingly so, because there is a lot of walking and stairs.

Overall, my stay was awesome! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The beach is private with white sand. The water is crystal clear. There are two restaurants, one with a fixed menu, the other changes daily. Breakfast would either be buffet or sit down, depending on the day. The rooms were a bit dated but then again who is spending that much time there. Comfy bed and great shower as well as roomy for a family of 4. Nightlife isn't much with little entertainment. This is a family owned resort, the owner is always around, very friendly too. Like to give a shout out to George the maitre d. Great guy!! If I ever go back to Bermuda I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
