This beach hotel is located in front of its own beautiful private beach. There are many other beautiful beaches nearby, such as those at Horseshoe Bay and Church Bay.
The airport hotel is also close to the famous Railway Trail where guests can go biking, hiking or horse riding while admiring the natural beauty of Bermuda. The city of Hamilton, with its many shops, restaurants and entertainment options, is approximately 20 minutes away using public transport, which is available just 2 minutes' walk from the hotel.
Other nearby places of interest include Gibbs Hill Lighthouse (10 minutes' walk) and the Royal Naval Dockyard (approximately 25 minutes on public transport). The air-conditioned hotel is ideal for both romantic breaks and a fun family holiday, with all the comforts and services guests need.

David Dodwell Jr. and the entire team were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making every guest feel special.

We have stayed at most of the nice resorts in Bermuda but what separates this property from the others is not just the beachfront pink sand beach with no shuttle needed but that it is a family run business. It really makes a difference. It is not corporate at all - it feels very personable. The owners are very present and very friendly and really go out of their way to make sure that you are happy and are having a good time.
We had an issue where the room below us had a bunch of chain smokers. We could not go out onto the balcony due to the strong smoke coming up as we have asthma. David (one of the owners) really took care of us and moved us to a really beautiful suite which was incredible. It was over and above what we would have expected.
Each time we saw him he would make sure to say hello and ask if there was anything that we needed. Just a really nice, classy touch.
We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a nice hotel and I would stay here again. Two complaints: first, my room was right on the pool so I had no privacy and the rowdy pool goers disturbed me. Second, I was not aware that there would be a $50 daily resort fee. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Excellent views of the coast & beach from the room. Breakfast was excellent so many choices. There is a bus stop across the street, so it is easy to get around the island. There are a lots of steps at the hotel and does not seem to be wheelchair friendly. Staff and owner are really very friendly

The hot tub was soooo good..hot and jetted.AC, heat, dry mode all comfortable. Most nights we slept with the sl8ding foor open, listening to the waves. Dont miss the stars! Food was so well prepared almost to order. Breakfast is sumptuous. There is a welome reception, Friday night live music and drinks at the firepits. Afternoon tea included. Kayak and snorkeling equipment for our use, drinks and lunch on the beach or pool starting at 12. For all this plus lication the price was great too. This was our third year.

Safe was too high for people under 5’10”. The open safe was at my eye level and the door hit my eye when first opened- not expecting a door at my eye’s level. Needless to say my 4’9” wife needed a step stool to access the safe -not available.
Shower wand was useless and not having a door required contorting to prevent water spraying onto the floor.
Closet, safe, coffee maker were all in the bathroom.
2 bottles of water were available upon checkin. Thereafter bottles of water were $4 unless filled in the gym- cleanliness not determinable

It was my first visit to Bermuda and I loved The Reefs. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming; the outdoor seating area was so inviting and a great spot to enjoy whale watching; the dining area inside and out was very clean and comfortable with stunning views; the food was excellent and the room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the special evenings, like the fireside grill. The live music was excellent and created a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Went in March so we missed the usual experiences (Coconuts closed, ocean chilly) but overall it was a good experience. The live music and firepits on Friday were a highlight and morning breakfast was great. The location is on the bus line and a short commute to Hamilton or dockyard. I would recommend for couples or adults as it’s peaceful (not for young children).

We celebrated New Years Eve and rang in the New Year with David Dodwell Sr. (The owner) and a New Years dip in the ocean - the hotel community also happened to save a sea turtle that washed up on shore- caught in netting at the same time. A great way to ring in a New Year. We will be back!

Had a fabulous girls weekend and really enjoyed our stay at this lovely family owned property! Staff, service and food were all wonderful. Only issue was we expected pool/ocean views from our rooms and that did not happen? Therefore, we were disappointed not to have the views our reservations were confirmed for, especially since it was off season and we were celebrating a special event. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again but would expect better room views as indicated on our booking.

The Reefs was clean overall. The room we got there were issues with the patio door and the glass shower door was leaking, hence water got into the bathroom area, don’t think the AC was serviced as it was not getting very cold at 68F. When sitting in the patio, there were old pipes etc in the gravel area, very unsightly.

Overall, this is a great hotel. The room could use a little TLC, but the view is amazing and the location is incredibly relaxing. There isn’t much around the hotel, so getting anywhere requires a drive or a bus ride. While there are multiple beautiful beaches along the shoreline, walking to them can be dangerous since there are no sidewalks.
The food at the hotel restaurant is quite good, and it’s a wonderful spot if you’re looking to simply relax and enjoy the sun and beach. As a more active traveler, I found that many restaurants and shops were a bit of a hike to get to. I stayed here for friend’s birthday trip and overall had a very enjoyable experience.

The reefs is a gorgeous and professionally run property that we would highly recommend. We would have rated the staff and service a 5 except for the bar which is staffed by bartenders that are not at all friendly or accommodating. The exception was Jennifer who was a delight! Loved my stay again. My older daughters (31 & 28) fell in love with Bermuda and the resort. I did bring the younger 2 children along as well this time but it's not suited for my 7yr old daughter. She was slightly bored when the weather wasn't great for the pool or beach areas.

We loved everything about this hotel. Staff were super friendly and always looking to help with anything and everything, from the front desk to servers in the restaurants to housekeeping. Rooms were spacious, clean, nicely decorated and updated and the views were outstanding (we had pool view, but all rooms seem to also have a great ocean view). Food was delicious at Coconuts and Solaris and the included breakfast was extensive. The private beach is beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We were at the Reefs during Hurricane Imelda and the owners and staff were excellent - everything very well communicated and managed, so much so that the storm seemed like a non-event in hindsight. Bermuda is a beautiful island in so many ways and we hope to go back soon.
