This beach hotel is located in front of its own beautiful private beach. There are many other beautiful beaches nearby, such as those at Horseshoe Bay and Church Bay.
The airport hotel is also close to the famous Railway Trail where guests can go biking, hiking or horse riding while admiring the natural beauty of Bermuda. The city of Hamilton, with its many shops, restaurants and entertainment options, is approximately 20 minutes away using public transport, which is available just 2 minutes' walk from the hotel.
Other nearby places of interest include Gibbs Hill Lighthouse (10 minutes' walk) and the Royal Naval Dockyard (approximately 25 minutes on public transport). The air-conditioned hotel is ideal for both romantic breaks and a fun family holiday, with all the comforts and services guests need.

It was my first visit to Bermuda and I loved The Reefs. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming; the outdoor seating area was so inviting and a great spot to enjoy whale watching; the dining area inside and out was very clean and comfortable with stunning views; the food was excellent and the room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the special evenings, like the fireside grill. The live music was excellent and created a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

The live music and firepits on Friday were a highlight and morning breakfast was great. The location is on the bus line and a short commute to Hamilton or dockyard. I would recommend for couples or adults as it’s peaceful (not for young children).

Our trip with the Reefs exceeded our expectations. The location, food, staff and hospitality are second to none. Solaris was amazing. We also loved our Tea time and finger sandwiches at 4 each day. We celebrated New Years Eve and rang in the New Year with David Dodwell Sr. (The owner) and a New Years dip in the ocean - the hotel community also happened to save a sea turtle that washed up on shore- caught in netting at the same time. A great way to ring in a New Year. We will be back!

Had a fabulous girls weekend and really enjoyed our stay at this lovely family owned property! Staff, service and food were all wonderful. Only issue was we expected pool/ocean views from our rooms and that did not happen? Therefore, we were disappointed not to have the views our reservations were confirmed for, especially since it was off season and we were celebrating a special event. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again but would expect better room views as indicated on our booking.

The Reefs was clean overall. The room we got there were issues with the patio door and the glass shower door was leaking, hence water got into the bathroom area, don’t think the AC was serviced as it was not getting very cold at 68F. When sitting in the patio, there were old pipes etc in the gravel area, very unsightly.

Overall, this is a great hotel. The room could use a little TLC, but the view is amazing and the location is incredibly relaxing. There isn’t much around the hotel, so getting anywhere requires a drive or a bus ride. While there are multiple beautiful beaches along the shoreline, walking to them can be dangerous since there are no sidewalks.
The food at the hotel restaurant is quite good, and it’s a wonderful spot if you’re looking to simply relax and enjoy the sun and beach. As a more active traveler, I found that many restaurants and shops were a bit of a hike to get to. I stayed here for friend’s birthday trip and overall had a very enjoyable experience.

The reefs is a gorgeous and professionally run property that we would highly recommend. We would have rated the staff and service a 5 except for the bar which is staffed by bartenders that are not at all friendly or accommodating. The exception was Jennifer who was a delight! Loved my stay again. My older daughters (31 & 28) fell in love with Bermuda and the resort. I did bring the younger 2 children along as well this time but it's not suited for my 7yr old daughter. She was slightly bored when the weather wasn't great for the pool or beach areas.

We loved everything about this hotel. Staff were super friendly and always looking to help with anything and everything, from the front desk to servers in the restaurants to housekeeping. Rooms were spacious, clean, nicely decorated and updated and the views were outstanding (we had pool view, but all rooms seem to also have a great ocean view). Food was delicious at Coconuts and Solaris and the included breakfast was extensive. The private beach is beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We were at the Reefs during Hurricane Imelda and the owners and staff were excellent - everything very well communicated and managed, so much so that the storm seemed like a non-event in hindsight. Bermuda is a beautiful island in so many ways and we hope to go back soon.

The entire staff (owner, management, front desk, servers, bell hop, and housekeeping) was outstanding. Everyone extended a warm welcome and treated us like family and friends for our entire stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and convenient. I loved sitting on the beach and watching the playful, white Longtail birds The beach is a 2 minute walk from the rooms, so there is no waiting or scheduling a shuttle. We have stayed at 5 resorts in Bermuda, and The Reefs is our favorite. We cannot wait to go back again in March.

This is a beautiful resort with a private beach, restaurants with good view, spa room with good view, pools by the ocean, rooms with good view (although I might have gotten the worst view because my room is by the pool and it is on the first floor, so there're people outside by my balcony. I'm sure a room with pool view on the second floor or a room with ocean review will give you much better view and privacy).

The location is relatively far from the city and you rely on the resort for restaurants. I found it far from the water activities too that Bermuda offers (the water sports company nearby only has jet ski on the weekends), so you need to do a bit travel for these (either by taxi or bus).
In conclusion, it is a beautiful resort just to chill, relax, look at the ocean and do nothing or read a book with your sunglasses.

We had a fantastic experience at The Reefs. The views were stunning, the beach is one of the best on the island out of any of the resorts we visited. I absolutely recommend staying here if you love Crystal Clearwater with stunning views. The sand was perfect, everything was just beautiful. Our stay was in Bermuda wasn't too long due to a tedious work schedule but the three nights we spent here were fabulous! The resort is absolutely gorgeous and the surrounding areas are safe- bus is right across the street allowing for one to get around the island easily- the complimentary breakfast was delicious and the grounds are clean and really breathtaking- the beach is very nice and the water is amazing! The staff was so helpful- and kind- we will be back! Restaurants are delicious!

The Reefs Resort & Club is one of the nicest resorts on the island. You can’t beat the incredible ocean views from all rooms. Rooms are decorated very nice and comfortable. The restaurants are amazing and are also right on the ocean. David is a hands on owner of the resort and comes over to talk to all his guests. The service is so great you will never see this at any other resort. You can tell everyone from housekeeping, maintenance, food service, office staff and other services all enjoy their jobs.
Reefs has so much to offer, you will not be disappointed. Extra accolades to Lesley, Keitha, Ryan, Jennifer and a few others I forgot their names.
