Our stay at The Loren at Pink Beach was excellent. The room was really clean, modern and well-stocked. The view of the ocean from the room was beautiful and calming. It was so nice that the hotel is right along the beach. We spent a lot of time there collecting seaglass and making sandcastles. Our child also loved the kids playroom especially on the colder days.
We ended up eating around one meal a day at the hotel's restaurant which was quite filling and the quality of the food and service was exceptional (which made up for the cost!). We also stocked up on snacks and food from the nearest grocery store, Harrington Hundreds.
What made our stay so amazing was all the staff including those at the restaurant, front desk, and pool area who were so friendly and really anticipated our needs without even us asking them. I've never really stayed at a hotel with this type of service, and it definitely made the difference for us. The front desk also arranged a private van tour with Corrine who was so friendly and knowledgeable. Our stay here makes us want to visit Bermuda again (though maybe we'll come back when its slightly warmer!).

The King Terrace room was spectacular, the view incredible. The water beside the bed in my room was a very nice touch and the staff are so pleasant and they aim to please! I will be returning back very soon! 5star experience.

The Loren is fantastic...........the staff are all amazing and friendly.........the room we had was beautiful with a fantastic ocean view and amazing balcony.......the restaurant was also amazing - we mostly ate breakfast here but also had two dinners and the food was amazing. Cant say enough good things about this hotel - we will definitely be back for another stay! it truly is a first class hotel!!

We were on the 1st floor/ground with a lovely patio, outdoor seating. The only problem was 1 evening they had an art event we were not informed about, very loud music till 11pm. The Hotel did compensate us 150.00 per room credit.

First off, the rooms at The Loren are large, beautifully appointed, and the bathrooms spacious and well lit. The ocean views from the 2nd floor rooms are as good as promised - we stayed in the main building and the waves crashing on the beach were literally 20 feet away.
The main cocktail bar is a bit of a disappointment; it felt like it was an afterthought by the architect. It's tucked away in a corner on a floor below reception and above the restaurant. Sadly, it's not an inviting location to have a drink.
The front desk crew are pleasant and willing to help but they seemed ill trained and uncertain as to what to do when we asked for assistance with a couple of issues. One simple task that never made it to the right person - despite being written down and passed along - was booking a taxi for our trip to the airport the next day. We had learned to double check on requests run thru the front desk... and sure enough the bellman was never informed of our \"confirmed\" request for a taxi.
Note - we stayed in room 203, in the main building. The penthouse is above this and the other rooms on the floor. There was a family with young children staying there for our last 2 nights, and every morning, afternoon, and early evening it sounded like a herd of elephants had been set free. If you get assigned a 2nd floor suite in this section make sure to inquire about who, if anyone, is staying in the penthouse. Please, no kids.

This is a beautiful contemporary property on a stunning bit of the Bermuda coast. The staff team here make the stay- polite, friendly, impeccably professional and personable.

For the cost of the hotel, I would have expected much more. The dining menus were pretty limited, service was very hit or miss and there was a general lack of efficiency. You felt like it was the off season B team. No hot tub and pools were not heated. Just not what I would call a luxurious experience, compared to similar hotels of its price and standard.

Lastly the beach was nice too, except the undertow is too strong most of the time and waves are choppy so you couldn’t easily walk in holding a baby. Saw lots of parents with young kids / babies decide not to go in.. but if you’re an adult / average swimmer it’s totally fine and you’ll get a nice workout in!

Regardless of what anyone informs you, this is not a 5-star resort. Not by my personal years of experience and travel. We’re it marketed properly as the low 4-star property it actually is, I could better accept the glaring deficiencies as they are. It was among the most disappointing resort vacations of my lifetime. I truly felt like I was scammed. Despite ALL the issues we showed then and brought to their attention. Essentially nothing was done to truly rectify the situation. Just words and apologies. Not a good business modem in my opinion.

Gorgeous property, luxe room and incredible service! Well located to be able to taxi into Hamilton or over to St George. Beginning of May was a bit early for beach weather (water was chilly), but great to sit on the beach and the pool is heated (a bit). The food was great, but we had to taxi everywhere, so we bought munchies at a grocery store in Hamilton and supplemented. Service in the hotel is unparalleled- they never said 'no' to any request!

The resort itself was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The only issue that we had was that twice we had to call the front desk to get the hot water fixed in our room. There is also nothing within walking distance of the resort which means you will have to call for a cab anytime you want to leave the property.

The Loren is a beautiful hotel in an amazing setting! Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and the restaurant was very good. But, the best part of our experience was the incredible staff m. From our arrival with gorgeous flowers and French champagne my husband arranged for my birthday) (thank you Michelle). Top notch everything that made my 65th birthday truly unforgettable!!

My wife has eyed the hotel for months and as a surprise I booked it for her. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, very modern. The room was fantastic, great bed, great bath nice deck area. Honestly one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in but then again I was expecting that for the price 800+ per night. When you ask that kind of number you also have high expectations on service and food. That’s where this hotel fell short. The staff was pleasant but they weren’t properly trained service wise. Best way to describe it is they were simply hired help. They weren’t professionals. No one had been schooled in 5 star service and this goes gor the food. They constantly got our orders wrong and the food was at nest just ok. More misses than hits. The clincher for me was the $12.00 orange juice. Twelve dollars for an inch and a half of warm orange juice. I’ve stayed at some of the nicest hotels out there and never paid that much for orange juice! We’re they magic oranges? Nope. Typical orange juice nothing special. The orange juice lost me. I just felt ripped off at that point. Bottom line hotel is a 10 service and food are a 5. Going to pass next time on the Loring.

Upon arrival we were greeted by not only a very friendly bellhop, but also front desk personnel. We were greeted with wash cloths and a signature island beverage. As we arrived earlier than check in, guest relations supervisor Cole gave us a grand tour of the property to pass time. Immediately we felt at home as it seemed the hotel offered everything we were looking for. Cole was sure to give us all options in terms of amenities and also make us feel comfortable with asking him any questions about not only the property, but the island in general. The ocean view room offered tranquility that can't be matched! A beautiful sunrise every morning, and a partial sunset in the evening. In wanting to explore the island, we dined out the first night. The second day, we decided to dine in and realized there was no need to eat else where! The food was served in large portions and was TOP NOTCH, not something you usually find at resorts. Gihan and his staff Shay, Carla, Taj, and the crew not only gave food recommendations but went above and beyond giving first class hospitality treatment. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you truly cannot go wrong. We know Horseshoe Bay Beach is said to be one of the prettiest in Bermuda, but after experiencing the private pink sand beach at The Loren, there was no desire to travel to Horseshoe Bay. If you're looking for a small quiet, peaceful, scenic, resort away from the commercial district, this is the resort for you.
