The room was very spacious and clean. We were provided fresh towels when needed and the amenities bar downstairs was well stocked. Staff were accomodating and professional and organised luggage forwarding for us promptly. The laundry was great but needs a few more machines as it was very busy with 14 floors and only 3 machines available each day. We also loved the restaurant downstairs for breakfast and the Lawson connection downstairs that was 24hours.

Guys, this was a very clean room, that seems to be new construction. It was a smaller room, which was fine since we weren't in town for long. The breakfast here is a real highlight, you should definitely get the breakfast if you're staying here. It's in their restaurant downstairs, which doesn't give them that much room to work with, but it's a very pleasant atmosphere and they have a strong focus on local specialties like local tofu.

I enjoyed the breakfast as much as the breakfast at some four star hotels we stayed at in Sapporo and Tokyo.

I’m a regular at this hotel. I didn’t eat breakfast due to being a late sleeper. I had eaten breakfast here in the past and it was very good. I recommend. Wifi is strong. The Lawsons (konbini) is in the first floor of the building. An international ATM is there and you can recharge your PASMO & SUICA card at the ATM.

This property was wonderful. Stayed one night and had a great time. Spent time in Aomori and was able to go to the Nebuto museum nearby as well as Shopping Street. It was very clean and the bathroom and bed was quite large. Staff was respectful and accommodating and helped with any questions I had. Would recommend this hotel any time.

It is uncommon to experience racism and rudeness from staff in Japan, but this hotel staff is the exception to the rule. At check-in we were treated quite rudely - at breakfast we were treated very rudely by the chef behind the counter. It is difficult to understand why hotel staff adopt this attitude - we feel very sorry for them but more so than that are very embarrassed by their rude behavior. We will never stay at another Daiwa Roynet Hotel. IF you are from a country other than Japan we recommend finding another place to stay!

Picked this hotel for the wonderful bathroom. There is a shopping street right outside. You can choose to have your room cleaned or not.
Shops and restaurants nearby. The station is a 7 minute walk away. The only bad thing is they only give one pillow that doesn’t support my neck. There’s a Lawson convenience store next door.

Another stay I'm coming back.

I'm in Aomori again for martial arts training in jujutsu and kyudo. After practice I often soak in the tub to relax in the make shift onsen in my room provided by the hotel. I had breakfast this time because I woke up early enough. I'm a late sleeper so I miss out. The breakfast was awesome. Having Lawsons in the same building is always an additional plus due to international ATM services provided and Lawsons is my preferred combini in Japan. I'm a repeat customer at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Aomori. Parking is much more convenient due to snow removal in the immediate area is much better.

New Year's Eve to New Year's Day Stay

I go this hotel on a regular basis. I spent the night on New Years Eve to spend time with friends at the izakaya. It was near the local shrine where I did my New Year's hatsumode (first prayer) with the izakaya staff. Check in was easy. I was relieved that parking was available. The shower room with bathtub was great! I have tattoos and cannot use the onsen facility at Dormy Inn. Daiwa has given me the option of a in room onsen after a shower. Available bath mixes were very good.

Location - around 5-7 min walk to JR Aomori station, all along flat road. There is a convenience store just downstairs and a lot of restaurants too.

Room- The staff is nice. The room is clean, quiet and not big. It is just fit for one person. You have all the amenities inside.

It is quite good value for money. Highly recommended if I go back to Aomori again

Daiwa Roynet Aomori is striving to be an upscale hotel with their modern fixtures, detail oriented design touches, and near endless amenities. Unfortunately, they are unable to compete at this price point with a confusing and inconvenient second floor reception area, tiny televisions, and room windows facing a blank white wall. Commanding a premium price for this turned a four star stay into a two star stay.

Parking is a bit of a hassle if you have a van which I did. The car park located at the hotel is not big enough to accommodate the van, so I had too search for a car park.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kinjoro. The staff was friendly, the room with a garden view was very nice. We booked the room with breakfast and dinner included and found the food, as well as presentation and private dining room, excellent. Even though we heard other people in this ryokan, we did not encounter another guest during our stay. This ryokan is about a 7 minute taxi ride from Aomori station and within walking distance of Old Town.

It takes around 10 mins of walk from the Aomori Station. The route is mostly sheltered so dun worry about raining (or snowing if you come in winter). Many dining options around, and closed to the new shopping mall Three

I stayed one night--and it was all wonderful. The hotel seems very new, and the amenities were comprehensive. The room was clean and mine, including the bath/shower, was spacious. Unexpectedly, my room was equipped with a massage chair that was quite nice, and there was also a Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom. Checking in/out was easy. Check-outs can be done on a machine. The hotel is located in a convenient place, a several-minute walk to the JR Aomori station. Highly recommended!

This hotel is close to the Aomori train and bus station, about a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and shopping on the Main Street.

We took the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Shin-Amori then transferred to the local line into town.

We included the breakfast option at the restaurant on the first floor. Please note the breakfast menu is the same daily. But lots of options to try.

Be advised restaurant requires you to use hand sanitizer first before entering, use plastic gloves when selecting your food from the buffet tables. Masks are recommended anytime not eating or drinking, and keep conversation to a minimum while dining.

Rooms are clean and just right for two guests. We liked having the massage chair in the room.

Quiet rooms, the only time we heard any noise was on new year’s eve when the local temple chimed its bell intermittently from 11 pm to midnight, and a few people shouting “happy new year” while shooting off fireworks for just a few minutes. Didn’t really bother us at all.

The town is walkable, or you can take the bus or local train to get around to other areas nearby. Taxis are readily available.

Overall I’m giving it an excellent experience and would stay here again. It was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed here twice before.

The great location and excellent amenities are the highlights of Daiwa Roynet Hotel Aomori. The breakfast buffet which includes both western and Japanese-style food was surprisingly good for the very little price we paid. We will stay here again when we return to Aomori in the future.
