I loved Nagoya Apa hotel that had many seating area in the lobby.
One of the front desk person in the night shift was grumpy, we didn’t appreciate his when we are having trouble with parking.

The hotel is very very old and needs major updating. The staff is wonderful came to my rescue then a big ugly bug flew into my room (10th floor) and planted itself on the curtain. I opened the window bc you cannot adjust the air conditioner.

Everything was fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. A short walk from Aomori station--one stop from Shin-Aomori. Breakfast was good and the area around the hotel was walkable. Some good dining options in the area. So many sushi restaurants in the area. Nebuta Wa Rasse Museum rust down the street and the A-Factory and small beach opposite the museum. I have only one complaint and that was the bathroom. It is older and needs to be modernised. When showering the water temperature fluctuates from hot to warm to cold back to hot and was very difficult to control the temperature. Other than that, I had a comfortable stay.

Overall comfortable but couldnt find AC

We took the last shinkansen from Tokyo and did mid-night check in. The receiptionist were swiftly welcoming and processing everything smoothly. The room is standard \"Japanese small\" room but shockingly clean! I came when the weather was soo good (colder compare to Tokyo) so the room was very comfortable for me. But boyfriend couldnt sleep without AC so he couldnt sleep!

The hotel is nicely located 5 mins walk to the train station, is near the shopping district, especially the Augashinsen Market, where you can get fresh sea foods. Tourist attractions around Aomori station are just 2-5 mins walk distance. Hotel staffs are polite, the room is nice as it been refurbished for re-open in 2019.

Easy check in. The staff spoke enough English to teach me how enable the power in the room which I was completely ignorant to, and overall very friendly. The hotel itself is slightly dated but the facilities are well kept and always clean. The size is par for any \"business hotel\", so make sure you are aware of what you are booking. Aomori station is a few minutes walk to the west making exploring Aomori province very easy. Every day I was given two free bottles of water, which came in handy after drinking the night before. Highly recommended and worth the price.

Everything was OK, my only gripe was that the Hotels website stated that it was a 5 minute walk from the SHIN AOMORI station. This was the primary reason for me booking this hotel as we had a early train to catch the next morning and wanted to stay within a short walk of SHIN AOMORI.. FYI the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from AOMORI STATION, not 5 min. We had heavy luggage so being in close proximity of both shin aomori and the train station was of high priority. needless to say we were disappointed and ended up taking a taxi.

3-star hotel .... 5-star price!

Hotel is acceptable as 3-star hotel though rates quite ridiculous (>$300/night) due to Sakura season(?)
Staff need (a lot of) training on how to make guests feel welcome - service is efficient but lacks any warmth or sincerity.
Breakfast is very very average!

Small Japanese room expected in relation to price. Not much room around bed and bathroom. Semi-double bed against wall on one side - inside person must crawl out foot of bed or over outside person. Good location close to train station.

We just stayed overnight so the location was great for seeing the sights downtown. We left our luggage at the desk early in the day before check-in. There is air-conditioning in the room but you can’t control the temperature, it just goes from low to high on a dial. Not sure how that would work if it was really hot outside. Our last experience with this, in a different APA hotel, did not work well!

The room for a double bed is quite small. The furniture is outdated and worn-looking. The hotel is walking distance to shopping, restaurant, museum, train station. The employees at the reception are nice and can speak English.

1. The toilet floor is above ground level which is normal in Japan but APA's toilet floor level is higher than usually and very dangerous when stepping out of the toilet.
2. The refilling of the buffet breakfast is very slow. Have to ask the staff to get a cup of milk as there is no refill for 30 minutes.

I saw a lots of dust between furnitures and wall.
I happened to see those when I was looking for my earring I dropped.
A fabric covered chair had huge stain.

Most all what really annoyed me were books they put on a desk.
Obviously they are trying to sell their political view.
I think it's really inappropriate.

Convenient and comfortable hotel

The room is comfortable and the hotel is convenient for shopping and sightseeing (within walking distance). There are few stairs in the front door which is not convenient for me as I am carrying a large suitcase. I stayed there in winter and there was snow which made it hard to move my luggage.

Comfortable Hotel, Bit far from Station

This hotel room was small but comfortable, more than enough for us. We had booked smoking but didn't smoke, so they were happy to give us a free transfer to a non-smoking room which was lovely. The staff were friendly and nice. The room was comfortable, clean and cozy, everything you'd expect from an APA. Gave good freebies (toiletries and slippers), my partner and I had a happy stay here.

I was so desperate in going to towada when all along the museums are just a 200 yen bus away, and the establishments near aomori station are delightfully blissful. i recomment the apple gallette at the a-factory and the 300 yen ticket soba near aomori station.

Typical Japanese hotel - clean, compact, comfortable and great service. This hotel's main attraction is its location. Close to the main road (Shinmachi Street), close to the train & bus station and close to tourist attractions like Nebuta Museum, A-Factory, Memorial ship, bay area and ASPAM Observation Deck. Enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

Stayed here one night. Used the city as a base to explore the region. Room was clean and comfortable. Actually slightly bigger than another APA I stayed in earlier on the trip. Aomori is a (really) small city, so it's not the hotel's fault that there is not much around. Staff was friendly, and held my luggage for me on my check out date. Hotel was straight forward to find walking from the JR Aomori station.

The front desk personnel helped me in English. The room had everything that I wanted - even WiFi. (The Expedia website said WiFi was available only in public areas.) The room had a nice desk, a good view, a Yukata & slippers, a standard Japanese bath/shower & sink, and a comfortable bed.

Really nice, good value hotel. Easy walk from train station, staff were friendly. We had breakfast in the restaurant one morning - typical japanese breakfast buffet but by this stage in the trip I really just wanted a bowl of cereal or some vegemite toast :) Hotel is very close to some key sightseeing places in Aomori. Also, if you have a JR pass you can use it on the JR bus that goes from Aomori station up to Hakkoda.

一人利用だったので部屋の広さは特に気にならず、全体的に快適でした。

ただ2点だけ残念。
・コンディショナーがあまり良くない
・禁煙フロア（9階）のはずが、タバコ臭がかなり強い
