Nice clean hotel in a really good spot, in the middle of the shopping area and a 5 min walk to the train station. Great hotel to use as a base for exploring around Aomori prefecture. Parking was a bit confusing at first but got our heads around it. It's 700 yen a day and the car parks aren't connected to the hotel so some of them have time restrictions. Overall an easy comfortable stay :)

I stayed here for 4 days in November.

The hotel is a short walk away from Aomori train station, close to several combini and surrounded by restaurants.

My room was fairly small but more than adequate for a solo traveller, although if you have a lot of luggage space may be a little limited. I liked the fact that the wondow in the room opens as I hate sleeping in an overly warm room.

I liked the bathroom unit, where I could shower without needing to climb into the tub.

The room had a mini fridge and kettle. The usual bathroom supplies that Japanese hotels almost always supply are available in the lobby, including slippers and bath salts. Hotel wifi was excellent.

The hotel has 2 washing machines plus 2 dryers and they worked well when I used them a couple of times. There is also an ice machine and vending machine with a variety of drinks. In the hotel room was a reusable water bottle and there are water dispensers on each floor, which I thought was a much better idea than providing free water in plastic bottles.

Breakfast is in a lovely large room and the variety of food available was impressive and of good quality.

I'd happily stay in this hotel again if I return to Aomori.

Although the rooms were a little on the small side, they were clean and comfortable. The hotel was easy to find being close to the railway station and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast (extra) was excellent with a good selection of foods. A pleasant stay.

Inefficient service / info on parking

The room was terribly small. We rented a car and parking was essential. While the hotel does not have their own parking lot, but they have collaboration with nearby parking operators with special rates for hotel guests. The staff did mention where we can park, but they DID NOT let us know we have to bring the parking ticket for them to validate before it would qualify for the flat rate as mentioned in the flyers. We were charged double the fee on our first night and only to find out when we went back to read the flyers LINE BY LINE ourselves.

The existence black hairs in the bathing area was not good. (I am a former blonde, now gray.) However, the rest of the room seemed clean. The breakfast are was surprisingly good. The buffet provided tasty food, and there were lots of windows looking down on the street waking up below. Very convenient and fun shopping area.

Hotel was okay but the biggest downside was the temperature control of the wash basin and shower. It was either too hot or too cold even though at the start it was the right temperature. Can’t have a proper shower without being scalded.
Hotel should do something with the thermostat. Other than that everything was great !

Great location

Train station and lots of eateries nearby the hotel. Had to pay parking fee of 700 yen to park overnight in a car park few minutes walk from the hotel…very inconvenient especially with heavy luggages.

This hotel was in the perfect location for me. An easy walk from Aomori station but not so close that the resulting people traffic makes it crowded. It was also walking distance from several great places to eat. As for the room, I was expecting it to be small based on the pictures so I knew what I was getting in to. It was ideal for a lone traveler like myself though. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had timing issue with my luggage delivery and they helped me through it. The only problem I had was not the fault of the staff. Many guests were not used to the fact that the front desk was on the third floor. There were a couple times when I’d get in the elevator with another guest only to have them push the wrong button. I’ve also seen guests take the elevator to the first floor, only to get back in and go to the third. The front desk is labeled in 4 languages, but maybe it could use more? Or maybe a picture would be more helpful. That was my only minor irritation: other people taking up elevator time and space.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels in Japan over the last 3 weeks and although modest price, it rates as one of the best. Clean and neat bedroom and bathroom. Slept well as nice and quiet- I was on 9F away from the lift.
The only facility I used was washing machine and dryer. There were only 2 and one was out of order unfortunately so I had to wait 20 minutes until previous load finished. That's really the only negative. Wifi was also patchy at peak times. Hall way carpet could probably be replaced. But the room was comfortable and quiet and that's the main things for me.

The hallway carpet has too many stains and needs cleaning. The room was small, no enough ventilation. The stay was alright until a male staff member refused to assist us with calling a taxi after we checked out. As foreign tourists without a phone to call and without speaking Japanese, it was a great challenge for us and we needed the taxi to catch a train. We ended up walking to the nearest train station to take a taxi. We were very disappointed with the customer service of this staff.

We realised the hotel was newly renovated upon checked in. It was very impressively nice and clean. Very spacious room for the three of us. Separated toilet and bathroom. So far the cleanness and best in our entire 17-day Japan trip. Near JR Aomori station, about 5-7 mins walk. Good breakfast although not much variety. Highly recommended hotel.

Everything was great! The location is very good, 3 min walk from Aomori station. The room was abit small, but well-equipped! The bedding was changed everyday and the toilet was really sparkling clean! We happened to enjoy their new restaurant opening for morning breakfast, the atmosphere was great all details were duly noted by the management. Highly recommended. There are convenience stores and Daiso for you to walk around. There are many restaurants, too! Thank you so much, we really had good memory there!

The hotel manager was very helpful during checkin. Front desk is on the third floor. He helped us get our car parked in the right spot... coming all the way down to the first floor and walking us to a parking spot. Above and beyond service.

両親の旅行に宿泊をプレゼントしました。青森市街地にあり、ねぶた祭り後に泊まるのに立地が良かったそうです。また、朝食もとても美味しかったと喜んでいました。違うお部屋での連泊でしたが、お隣のお部屋を用意してくださり、移動もスムーズだったそうです。お荷物も預かってくださって、助かりました。ありがとうございました！

Outrageous price for tiny room-avoid Aomori Neputa

The room was tiny and the bed enclosed by walls on three sides. My partner had to crawl over me to get out of bed. We couldn't both stand at the same time. There was free apple juice and an ear of corn, but no water?? The city should be embarrassed to allow such price gauging: ￥50,000 for a room that normally goes for ￥10,000 is a crime. Everybody should follow the Japanese government's advice and avoid Aomori Neputa (wonderful though it is) and go to a local Neputa where the business community doesn't rip you off. The room was clean, but the overall hotel is showing its age. The location is excellent.

朝食にもっと郷土料理があると嬉しいが、それでも豊富な種類があり美味しく戴いた。ダブルのベッドは広く枕も２種類あった。ねぶたの時期なので宿泊費がとても高かったが、青森駅が近いため駅を拠点に電車やバスであちこち観光に行くのに便利。周辺は店が多く食事や買い物に困らない。

2樓禁菸房會出現菸味

2樓的浴室，會傳來煙味，有向飯店反應，但是沒有獲得處理。以後訂房可能還是會優先尋找整棟都禁煙的。
