My stay at H4 Hotel in Leipzig was absolutely fantastic. Staff went above and beyond, especially the front desk and restaurant staff during the morning and evening. The room was immaculate. The breakfast buffet was huge, with fresh fruit, vegetables, and delicious coffee. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes away from a shopping center and a recreation center. It is our favorite hotel when we visit family.

We are from the U.S. and had an excellent experience at this property - even stayed again when coming back through the area! We were especially impressed with Chris, at the front desk who went out of his way to help us, first to see the Super Bowl on our room TV and second, he helped us get a SIM card working by actually calling the company and speaking German with them to resolve the problem! The whole property was extremely clean and inviting, beds were super comfortable, loved the walk-in shower, and breakfast was top of the line! Free parking was appreciated as was free wifi which worked great. This hotel is a little out of the way, a car is recommended, but it's very easy to get to from the highway. Definitely would stay a third time and highly recommend! Thanks for your hospitality, Chris!

I asked for a quiet room upon check in (away from elevator etc.). I ended up on a floor with construction activity and right next to a maintenance/service/construction personnel room right next to mine. The nights were over at 6:45 AM, including Saturday, with hordes of workers making sure of that. When I complained upon check-out to the same person that had checked me in, he acted clueless and didn’t even consider any offer to make up for my inconvenience. Travelers considering booking this hotel should know that it is very large and appears to be frequented by groups of traveling workers and professionals. Bring your earplugs!

17 minute tram ride plus 15 minute walk from tram stop to hotel. Not exactly local to Leipzig. Pleasant sauna to relax after the journey. Left before breakfast but a local shop and petrol station on route back to tram stop selling pastries and coffee meant we were fed.

This is a typical business hotel located in the suburbs away front the city center. If you have your own transportation and don't need to walk to destinations, it is an excellent choice. Great buffet breakfast.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The employees who made up the rooms went over board to make sure we had what we needed. The waiter and waitresses were great and made sure the tables were ready and we always had coffee. The walls are very thin and we could hear the people in the next room coughing. The guests were very noisy and loud until almost 1 A.M. They were laughing and popping bottles or something.They had no consideration for the other guests. Even though we were on the 2nd floor, it sounded like all the noise was right under our window. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work.

Good Hotel for Business or Family
This was a very nice hotel with a helpful staff. My wife and daughter came along on this trip and were entertained in the hotel and at the neighboring Therme. Food at the restaurant bar was also good. There really isn't a neighborhood by it, just a large mall and businesses.

The hotel is a long way out of town, however it's easy to get to by public transport from Hauptbahnhof in about 40 minutes - trams run very early through to late. If you have a car, then the bonus of this is parking is free, and it's very close to the Autobahn.

Great for autobahn if touring.
As stopover from Berlin the Ramada is very convenient for the autobahn yet close enough to Leipzig to go to the town for dinner. Although booking a double we got two singles, not a drama the beds are comfortable with the usual German pillows, one fat one thin. No tea facilities in the room as per Germany. Breakfast was included and was excellent. More of a business hotel than tourist but good all the same.

Perfect hotel for what we wanted, which was one on the outskirts with easy access to centre via the tram. Breakfast at the hotel is to be recommended. Would definitely stay there again, when next in Leipzig, especially if hiring a car because of the easy access to motorway and A roads.

Nice hotel, near a main highway if you're coming from another city, and an easy drive into the Leipzig city center. Free parking is great and we found parking (with meters) on the street in Leipzig when we went into the old city. Room was nice and front desk staff was helpful.

his hotel is situated about as far out of town as you can get, on what resembles a trailer park. The hotel has no atmosphere. It is clinical and functional. Everything is there but it is cold and unfriendly, and disinterested . After a long journey it is a massive disappointment. Not even a kettle in the room to get a cup of tea!

Das Zimmer war wie gewohnt sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders positiv ist das moderne Badezimmer sowie die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Ein Wasserkocher würde das Angebot jedoch sinnvoll ergänzen, da man ohne Kaffeepad zwar heißes Wasser erhält, dieses aber einen deutlichen Kaffeegeschmack hat. Das Personal ist freundlich, und es stehen ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Ein kleiner Nachteil besteht darin, dass manche Zimmer sehr weit vom Fahrstuhl entfernt liegen – am Ende des Hotels kann der Weg durch die langen Gänge gefühlt mehrere Minuten dauern. Insgesamt dennoch ein angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Beim Frühstück habe ich Spiegeleier mit Speck bestellt, der Koch (Chefkoch beim Frühstück) hat sich geweigert frischen Speck kross zu braten. Ich sollte den Speck aus der Auslage der kalt und halb roh war nehmen. Wo gibt es denn so was in einem 4 Sterne Haus ? Die Antwort vom Koch war das der Speck nicht jeden Tag gebraten wird sondern aufgewärmt wird... Lecker oder ?
