This hotel exceeded all of our expectations! It is very close to the train station, very clean, with a wonderful amenities. We enjoyed the sauna room. The front staff are friendly and professional, they store our bags till we got back later that day. The location of this hotel is very convenient within walking distance to so many places. If I ever visit the city this will be the hotel that I would choose.

The hotel room was a little bewildering, as there were lots of electronic/automated features that took a little getting used to. It appears that they don't get a lot of English speakers, as there were not enough translations fo English to know what all the buttons were for. Some of the English translations looked like they had gotten them directly from Google translate. I needed to call reception to find out that the lights under the bed were sensor driven and would turn off automatically (after I had spent time looking NG for how to turn them off!)
Overall a very comfortable room, quiet and clean.

Sometimes in Europe you want to stay in a Modern Hotel. Hyperion Leipzig, Germany does it really well. We stayed 1 Night in a Comfort Room 2 Adults Feb 2024. The room was incredibly well-designed, generously stocked with quality amenities, complimentary items in mini bar. We were amazed with how progressive and very functional the room was, which helps when a room is on the smallish side. Buttons on each side of the bed for lighting and room temperature, heated floor in bathroom, really good shower. Comfortable bed, though slightly hard for us side sleepers. It was split though not a problem. Made sense in order to accommodate 2 single travelers. TV was great, but disappointing not to have any English entertainment channels or even possibility of subtitles in English since this felt like a very international hotel. Those traveling by train can walk directly across the street to the Main Station, though we heard not one bit of noise. It took us about 10 minutes to exit end return to the motorway, so not an inconvenience and easy to find with GPS. Parking with a decently-priced fee was next door and we could drive up to entrance to load/unload luggage. Very relaxing upscale bar, fantastic breakfast buffet including champagne, every staff member welcoming and eager to help. English spoken well here tho we are bilingual. Had we been able to relax after a very long day of driving with an entertainment channel in English or with English subtitles, we'd rate this 10 .

I usually come to this hotel in the summer so that it is very lovely, the rooms are really nice in design and quality. Unfortunately this time around, it is early winter so the temperatures are low, we put the ac in the hotel room to heat on max (max is 24 degrees) and it was still blowing cold air. We went to the reception to ask them to please if they could sort it out in any way, they said that the central heating system is on their computer and they will put more heat in pour room..well I woke up 2 times during the night because it is freezing, my nose is clogged and I am getting sick because it is still blowing cold air and it is extremely cold . Very dissapointed and not at all ok. When my husband called this morning they said they are going to the cellar to check if AC has issues, but it has been an hour and still blowing cold air. Not sure if they are even trying at this point. To make a long story short, great stay for the summer, horrible stay for the winter.

This hotel is brilliantly located, right next to the station and the main tram/bus interchange. I would definitely stay here again - my only reservation is that the room was small (I've previously stayed at the Westin, which has much more spacious rooms, a lot more wardrobe space and generally feels more luxurious) BUT when you've had a busy day/evening, the location of this hotel can't be beaten. And they have a nice bar area, too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, this hotel provides tea/coffee making facilities in the room (very useful), the bed is comfortable and the shower is good too.

A superb Breakfast was available with many wide and various choices, ideal to start the day off.

A few dozen footsteps from the main train station, you can't beat this for convenience. Triple glazing also means the trains don't keep you awake at night. A sound choice

Great design and looks, but poorly operated
This hotel is still pretty new and has the modern looks and well-appointed stylish room design to proof it. Things that make it stand out from the nearby competition were: Coffee maker in room, toilet separated from bathroom by a door, fast free internet access. The location is perfect for rail travelers, the hotel front door is less than 100 steps from the \"Saxony Entrance\" of the Hauptbahnhof station.
Unfortunately, the prime location and design are not matched by a corresponding level of operations. Checkin was the first negative impression. After no less than five emails nagging me to do online checkin (to reduce interactions for Covid-19 reasons), the keycard pickup kiosk didn't actually dispense a keycard and I had to do regular checkin with all the usual forms and passport showing anyway. Staff didn't program the keycard correctly on first attempt so I had to go back to the front desk for a second attempt. Connecting to the free internet was the next challenge as there were neither instructions in the room nor an obviously named hotel Wifi network. Turns out, \"Telekom\" is the correct network. Next, why not take a hot shower under the luxurious rain shower head? Sadly, it made such a loud noise that I switched back to regular shower mode (reported this at checkout, might be fixed now!) Finally found the AC controls in the bed's backrest which is a neat idea, but they didn't work leaving the room uncomfortably warm even with the window open.

Feedback on my first stay at Hyperion, Leipzig.
It appeared a bit strange as we had the covid19 measures in place. But since we came to visit family we ate outside and didn't require breakfast there. However, I did get free coffee early in the morning. :)
My only concern was taking £135.00 off my debit card when I checked in. They stated it would cover any food/drinks I might use. Took 3 days for it to return on my account after I had checked out. Not happy about this.

Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und das Hotel liegt zentral, so dass alles zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich komme immer wieder gerne hier her und bin gerne Gast in diesem Hotel.

Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel mit einer sehr guten Ausgangslage und das, was für uns die Buchung ausmachte, war die unmittelbare Nähe zum hbf. Abzüge gibt es, weil das Personal in einigen Angelegenheiten nicht professionell reagiert hat und nicht lösungsorientiert war. Zudem war der Abfluss im Bad verstopft, sodass beim duschen das halbe Zimmer unter Wasser stand und lange Haare, fremd wohlgemerkt, um die Füße schwammen. Der Käse beim Frühstück wölbte sich schon nach oben und beim check out gab es ein einfaches „das passt“ seitens der Rezeptionistin. Für 300 Euro pro Nacht, erwarte ich etwas anderes.

Der Aufenthalt war super. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist zentral in Leipzig gelegen und sicherlich ist der Bahnhof direkt nebenan von Vorteil, aber Abends dementsprechend auch von Nachteil. Das ist aber etwas auf das, das Hotel natürlich keinen Einfluss hat. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt mit kleinen Schwächen. Eine Wand im Zimmer war renovierungsbedürftig. Die entsprechenden Stellen waren beteits markiert, so dass davon ausgegangen werden kann, dass sie in Bälde wieder hergestellt werden.
Von 5x Frühstück war bei zweien der Wurst-und Käseaufschnitt wohl zu lange am Buffet. Die Ränder wellten sich bereits nach oben.
Es dauerte zuweilen etwas länger, bis abgefrühstückte Tische leer geräumt bzw. leere Platten am Buffet aufgefüllt wurden.
All diese Dinge waren Kleinigkeiten.
Das Buffet war außerordentlich vielseitig. Die Mitarbeiter dort und an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hyperion Hotel Leipzig. The location right next to the main train station is unbeatable, especially for travelers who are often on the move. My room (621) was very comfortable, with a bed and pillows that ensured a restful sleep. The breakfast was inviting and left nothing to be desired. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service: Ms. Brandt from the breakfast service was extremely attentive, and Mr. Thomas at the reception welcomed me warmly and helped me with everything. Overall, the entire staff was very friendly and professional. I’ll gladly come back!

The breakfast was definitely the best part of the hotel, with a huge selection of everything, from German ham and cheese to pastries and fresh fruit. Even though I'm Italian and we usually eat sweet things for breakfast, I really loved it. The room was also really comfortable, with lovely sunlight coming in and a nice view. The location was very convenient, being close to the station, which made getting around easy. However, staying near the station can sometimes be a bit of a downside, as there were a few homeless people around. The only real negative about the hotel was the cleaning service, which was extremely superficial. That was the one and only downside.
