Our Villa was clean and ready when we arrived. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly and helpful. We were driven by golf cart to our room and bags were brought up to us. The entire stay was amazing. Very polite and respectful to all of us. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

The property was amazing features and activites for all of my family members. The ony thing it lacked was a proper hot tub. Unfortunately, My son got very sick 2 days into the trip and had to be rushed to the emergency room but the staff was so helpful and got us an ambulance escort. Food was amazing for the most part, especially the Sushi! Will totally come back!

A gorgeous property 30-40 mins from the airport / San Juan - but with everything on site including multiple restaurants, pools, bikes, tennis, water sports, kids club and a lovely beach. The staff are what make this property so good - the kindness, care, and attention from all staff was excellent. We had some sunny days and some rain, but the resort was always in excellent condition, even after severe rainfall. 12/10, would stay here again.

Hotel room was very clean and staff were great! Pool was beautiful and deserves a five star review. The beach was also well maintained and lovely. Many hidden fees when we arrived left a bad taste in our mouths as well as a very terrible meal in which we waited 2 hrs for inedible food that wasn’t what we ordered and then it was not made right by management. There were only two restaurants open and no reservations for two weeks. We would hope that a hotel advertised as this luxury could do better with offering guests dinner options especially when it’s advertised a a full service resort and is so far away from other restaurants.

The resort waa beautiful and our riom was amazing however there was no activities to do on the premises. There was no real concierge. The beach was terrible!! The beach water was NOT BLUE it was full of seaweed and lots of rocks/big rocks so it made it dangerous to even goninto the beach water. The restaurants on the premises were good but very very expensive!! The breakfast buffet waa $63 for 2 adults bwhich waa ridiculous. The mandatory 16% automatically added tip plus all the taxea was crazy. While the beauty of the resort and our room was amazing qe would never return. It rained for 3 days out of 4 days it was a boring vacation. We did take one day to do an excursion to old san juan and the company on the premises organized it for $120 we presumed we would get a tour guide for the price we paid b ut all we got was a driver who just dropped us off and picked us up. It was a rip off!!

Wasn’t our first visit, won’t be our last! We love this resort. Perfect for couples and families. Has never been overcrowded or difficult to enjoy the property and amenities.

Restaurants are solid. Coffee shop and market are amazing and super convenient. Rooms are great (both the bungalows and riserva).

Love that the main pool is 24 hours. Beach access is easy and comfortable.

If you book through Expedia, you’ll be charged an OTA fee. Ours was $117/day.

Room was updated. clean and quite spacious. Very high ceilings throughout and updated bathroom with a rainfall shower with great water pressure. The grounds were stunning and spread out so nothing felt crowded. We never had an issue getting beach chairs or chairs at the pool in the height of spring break season

The resort is beautiful. We could walk out from our room right onto the beach. Plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas available. Pool is gorgeous. Very beautifully landscaped. Open air lobby and bar area very tropical. Clean room, excellent restaurants on property. Would stay here again.

I just returned from 5 days at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve. It was a nice stay. The location worked well for being about a half an hour from the airport and just 15 minutes from the rainforest in Fajardo.
The grounds are beautiful and there’s a golf course there. The Puerto Rico open was happening while we were there. Surprisingly, that didn’t affect our stay at all.
I loved how secluded this resort is. Unlike other places, I’ve stayed on the island, there were no stray dogs hanging around, which was good because that always pulls at my heart string seeing those.
There’s a decent beach and a beautiful pool.
We had a room over overlooking the ocean, which was really great. It had a very large balcony which we spent a lot of time lounging on.
The staff was really nice and friendly.
The one complaint we had was that one night there was a large group of rowdy guys that acted like they were having a frat party out in front of the condo around the fire. They blasted music from 1to 3 AM and were extremely loud and obnoxious.
Folks in our building, were all yelling over the balconies asking them to quit it because people were trying to sleep.
We had called down to the front desk to ask them to go take care of the situation because nobody in our building was able to sleep with this ruckus going on. No one showed up to get them to pack up their party for at least a half an hour. We were shocked at how long they allowed this to go on. It was really unfortunate.

Loved this resort!! The rooms are spacious, quiet and the grounds are stunning. A slice of paradise.

The only small drawback is the distance from dining- and uber anywhere for a meal was $15-25 each way. The food there is OK, but we enjoy going off the resort to try new things.

Don’t forget water shoes, bug spray and some aloe/sunscreen!

The room was spectacular. I felt as if it were out of a magazine. The bed (king) was very comfortable. The bathtub was luxurious and shower great. The sitting area on the room was nice and the outside patio just right to start or end a day.

All of the personnel from hotel to restaurants and spa were exceptional and accommodating.. I am so looking forward to scheduling my next vacation and have already recommended to my friends and family. A most relaxing 5 day vacation.

The rest was 2/5:
• Check in at 4? lol NOPE. Cleaning inspection didn’t finish until 6:30 so we didn’t get our keys until 6:45. And after all that? The previous occupants contact lenses were left at the coffee station.
• We had a sizable kitchenette—with no utensils or plates.
• Shower never got hot enough, kitchen faucet didn’t get cold, but 3 other water sources had a huge range.
• Despite booking for 4 people and clearly needing the pull out couch for sleeping arrangements, there was no bedding for it, and no extras anywhere in the myriad of drawers.
• Room service told us 45 minutes, but it was closer to 2 hours.

Any one of these things by themselves are ignorable, but taken all together shows a lack of caring about hospitality for guests.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico. The property is stunning, with beautiful views, well maintained grounds, and a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. The staff was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The pools, beach access, and amenities made it easy to relax and fully enjoy our time there. Everything felt luxurious yet welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Rico.

Lovely stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve! Helpful staff, beautiful grounds, and large rooms. The pool was great too! The beach beds cost $ to rent, but they have some first come, first serve chairs and smaller beds available. You get a coupon for a free mojito when you arrive— used ours at the swim up bar. Dial 0 anytime for a trolley to pick you up and take you anywhere on the campus. Only small caveats: beach is very small and rocky (there is a public beach along the path to the rooms, however, that is lovely. 3 of the restaurants need reservations only and the food was good, but not great. No cash property as well, so bring a card. Had a great time— would definitely go back!

We selected an ocean-view room with two double beds, which provided plenty of space for my wife, my son, and me. The location was beautiful, and the staff was absolutely incredible. There are several restaurants and shops on the property, though they are quite expensive. That said, nearly everything you need is right at the resort. The pool was amazing, and the swim-up bar was even better. The resort also has a spa with a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and massage services, but those amenities are also pricey. There are no on-site laundry machines; however, housekeeping will take your laundry off-site and typically return it the next day. Overall, we had a great time.

Very poor choice of food - very few restaurants for such large property, strange schedule for restaurants, quality of food is mediocre with very high prices. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve for our honeymoon and we cannot say enough positive things about it!! We had an Oceanside room. It was spotless clean. The staff was SO friendly — especially the bellboys who drive you around the resort. Food was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again!!

The staff was hit or miss because the hotel adds on a gratuity for everything at a minimum of 16% so some staff didn't do much. We did tip extra for people that were attentive.
We did not use room service or get our rooms cleaned for the 5 days we were there. The Hyatt also automatically charges gratuities upon leaving for their guests to pay their employees salaries.
Please be aware of the booking price....be aware that you will be paying $100/night extra on top of the booking fees.
