Practical hotel

The hotel is close to several Tokyo Metro and Toei stations but a bit far from JR stations. It offers various free amenities like face lotion, toner, face mask, bath salts and more. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's 2 washing machines and you can check if they are available through your room's TV. The only issue was that the shower wall was dirty but I didn't complain. Also, the windows are facing different apartments, so you can't really open the curtains. There's an orange cat across the street snooping.

I was worried bc a lot of people mentioned the room was small, but it is just a typical Japanese room. I was very happy with it. Very clean, great amenities, friendly staff. I always stay in this area before we leave for the airport, bc the TCAT terminal is within walking distance. I'll definitely stay here again.

My partner and I really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. It is such a good deal for the price and what you get. The hotel has many free items for guests to use so that you don’t have to pack them from home (pajamas, hair straightener and curler, toothbrush/toothpaste, and more). It is conveniently located by several train stations and is in a quiet area. The room is pretty small but it’s exactly what’s advertised and we knew that going into it and it was totally fine, we didn’t need a big room since we were out all day exploring the city. Staff were very friendly and check-in/check-out were easy even if you don’t speak Japanese. We didn’t pack a lot of clothes to keep baggage limited and this was easy staying at this hotel with their convenient coin laundry service that we used a couple times during our stay here.

How to transport to and from airport

I won't review the hotel bcs everyone else had said it all already, and it's all pretty accurate. Instead, I'll tell you how to get to and from the airport to the hotel if you choose this place. We'll say 100yen = $1USD for this review. At arrival/departure from HANEDA, the 2 cheapest option is the train (550yen+) or the limousine bus (880yen). Train departs every 6-8 min or so (use Google Maps and make sure you pay attention to the arrival time of the train bcs it's super accurate on timing. If you get on at the wrong time, it's most likely a wrong train), doesn't require changing trains (1 straight route), rides for 30 min, and is ONLY good for ppl with 1 LUGGAGE. From the train station, your walk is about 8 min to the hotel. Limousine bus departs every 30-40 min, rides for 30 min, a no-brainer for ppl with MORE THAN 1 heavy luggage, and your destination is called the \"T-Cat\" (impt to note). From the T-Cat, you can walk 11 min to the hotel, or do the smart thing and ride a taxi (850 yen), assuming you rode the bus bcs of all your luggage. Standard taxis fitted 2 large luggages (1 went in the trunk, and 1 in the passenger seat), 1 small carry-on, 2 backpacks, and 2 regular-sized girls in the back, and still had room to spare. At checkout at hotel, you can ask front desk to hail you a taxi for free. Arrives quickly at about 6 min. For Narita airport arrivals/departures, it's 2800 yen by limousine bus (T-Cat), 55+ min. By train, there are train changes, costs 1100+, 55+ min.

Pluses: The hotel is a modest walk (~20 min) from Tokyo station, nearby subway stations, and has a number of local stores and restaurants close by. Staff were also friendly and accommodating. Also good value.

Minuses: room was a little on the small side (which is typical for Tokyo though based on staying at two other hotels on this trip).

Overall, my wife and I had a positive experience. We would consider this if staying in the area in the future.

Over-all, this was a good stay. There were, however, a couple of things I'd want other travelers to be aware of. First of all, the staff was absolutely lovely, and check-in was super easy. Even if I had not spoken Japanese, it would have been fine because their English is excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, as one would definitely expect in a Japanese hotel.
The other notes: 1) Even for Tokyo, the room is crushingly small. We had 4 large suitcases and we ended up having to block the door if we wanted to open even one of them, as there was absolutely no room anywhere but the tiny entry hall. 2) This had the worst bed I have ever experienced at a hotel. The springs inside the mattress groaned every time my wife took a breath, and if I moved a muscle it was squeak-central. It was also incredibly hard, and there was a bizarre thin ridge right under me that ran the whole length of the bed. 3) Breakfast is provided in-house, and so you may find that there is much more of a wait to get seated and get your food than there might be otherwise. It's not the hotel's fault that everyone chose to eat breakfast at the same time, but that's something I'd like other guests to know for the sake of planning daily departures. 4) The hotel is not very convenient to the metro, and is not really anywhere near any JR train stations. The area really isn't one frequented much by foreigners, it seems, and so may be less desirable to those who speak no Japanese.

First, you need to understand that this is Tokyo. Expect limited space, but for what space there is I think it does what a hotel needs to do well. There are all the facilities you need and a nice bathroom. My only issue was that my room had clearly not been dusted very well because the bed head was covered in fluff. Apart from that, I can't complain.

Friendly helpful staff. Free coffee in lobby area from 3 pm, Shiseido toiletries and free bottle of water for Eco clean of the room are all excellent initiatives. Clean room and facilities. Same breakfast day after day after day. Small, claustrophobic room (estimate 11 m2). Relatively cheap but not good value for money.

The hotel is very well located within 5 minute walk from the Ningyocho Station (Exit A6) Asakusa Line and Ningyocho Station (Exit A2) Hibiya Subway lline. The Suitengumae Station (Exit 8) Hanzomon Line is also within 5 minutes of the hotel. There are also many restaurants close to the hotel. Amazake Ally is a particularly good place to go for restaurants. If you like sushi try Sushi Misakimaru beside the McDonald's.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but very small. We travel light and did not spend any time in the hotel except to sleep but anyone travelling with large suitcases would have had trouble moving around the room.
The Breakfast was included in our package it is very limited. The western breakfast could stand some improving. We only ate it the first morning and then stuck to toast and yogurt after that.

Second time staying at this hotel and just as good of an experience as the first. Hotel is incredibly well placed for first time visitors to Tokyo, having nearby access to both Narita and Haneda from the T-CAT bus terminal. Nearby underground lines give good access to most tourist areas. Area around the hotel is very quiet with a great selections of places to eat and drink.

Staff are incredibly polite and have strong English skills. Great selection of amenities that change daily. Good quality free WiFi in the rooms as well as a LAN connection.

A good stay

We stayed 4 nights with a 2 days gap in between. The hotel staffs was very helpful and help in storing our luggage while we went to Koyto. The semi-double rooms were clean and functional. We had 2 suitcases and was able to open them both with careful planning. The supply of bathsalt in the reception area was a really nice touch, especially after a long day. It was around 20 minutes walk to Tokyo station but not so easy with lots of luggage therefore we opted for a taxis on the last day, which cost ~ £15 (1800 yens). The TV channels were all local but the wifi was excellent to keep up with the international news.

The hotel is located in convenient location, close to 2 subway lines and air bus station, with many restaurants and stores around. There is a beautiful shrine close to it as well.
Everything is clean and staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was just OK, far from the best though.
The major disappointment for us was the room size. it was very small, we could hardly keep our bags open. Bathroom was of sort of built in cabin, not comfortable.
If you do not have too many stuff with you and want to hang couple of nights and with no spending too much time in hotel, then it could be for you. But if you plan to be there more than just sleeping, then think of other place.

Great hotel - easy to get to Akihibara & Tokyo stn

Rooms are bigger than people here would lead you to believe.

Aircon was easy enough to figure out and the window opens easily for some fresh air.

There's a kettle provided with some green tea but didn't end up using it.

Other than deoderant I didn't end up needing any of the toiletries I brought from home since the hotel provides toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, razor, cotton tips, makeup remover, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap and other things you could get from reception for free. Hair dryer was handy too.

Being 5ft1 the bath was perfectly sized for a soak with a book and ended up being used every day with the free bath salts at reception. Each day they had a different scent to look forward to.

Vending machines on site were pretty good. We hit it up daily for cans of Suntory Boss in the morning and cans of Suntory Highball in the evening. I swear we don't have shares with Suntory.

7-Eleven and Family Mart are within walking distance with 7-Eleven being the better option if you want to have a few drinks in your room and watch some weird Japanese tv shows.

We didn't realise until the last night there is a button you need to press on the remote control of the tv to toggle between digital and analogue channels, so make sure you find this button early on to expand your options for Japanese prime time entertainment.

Staff were helpful in holding our luggage after check out and then booking a taxi for us on our last day to get to Tokyo station.

Great location to be able to get on multiple Metro lines. Staff very nice. Rooms are typical Tokyo; small. They're not really vacuumed so big piles of dust in carpet corners. The showers are typical Tokyo too, which lack ventilation, and therefore can get a bit moldy. If you're not a perfectionist, you may not even notice.

Great choice for a week exploring Tokyo

Hotel is in a convenient neighborhood. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, but not crowded as it is not a touristy area. Close to metro stations and a 30 min walk to Ginza. If you plan on walking a lot, this hotel is within walking distance (within 1.5 hours) of many sights and neighborhoods. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful. Rooms are small but clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

Located in a quiet area. The entrance was unimposing but a large rooftop signboard helped in locating the hotel. Rooms were small for us (travelling as family with grown up kids). Only stayed one night and had Japanese breakfast option which was filling - the other option was \"Western\" comprising of egg and meats. WiFi was good and free.

Only stayed one night when I first got in to Tokyo. Close enough to public transit, and in a good neighborhood to grab a bite or a drink. Overall, it was a little small, and it was fairly noisy, but that may have been the luck of the draw with who I was next too. It was loud enough that it was worth a call to front desk and around 2 - 4 am. Otherwise, nothing special, nothing terrible. For the price it was worth the stay for a night. Wouldn't stay any longer.

Hotel is OK, room was small but we expected that. We stayed for 6 nights. We were travelling with a 5 year old so moving around the room was difficult. Had 2 'double' beds that were comfortable. The bathroom again was small but was as expected.'

General location was OK, close to a station that got us to where we wanted to go each day. Wouldn't say it was a paradise for dining but the food in the area wasn't too bad.

The WiFi was pretty reliable with decent speeds. The laundry room was a bit of a pain, the driers took AGES to dry clothes!

Generally the hotel provided us with a safe, dry, warm and comfortable place to sleep at night which is was we were after.

The regular Double room was a little too small for us (we had large suitcases that wouldn't fit in the room otherwise), but the staff was kind enough to let us stay in a \"Comfort Double\" for an extra 1000 yen a night. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff was always very helpful and polite. The best part is that you're located near two subway stations, the Ningyocho station and the Suitengu-mae station, which we took advantage of by going to Tsukiji Fish Market almost every day! The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet, so we slept pretty well each night. The hotel is also located near a lot of restaurants and convenience stores, so you're able to get food at any time of the night! We would definitely stay here again.

Was a lovely place to stay. The only issue is it was not as central to many Tokyo sites as we may have liked - we did have a few things to do on that side of the city however mostly we required the metro and JR to get to the main parts. Having said that it was easy to navigate our way around this and the staff were lovely and very knowledgable.

It is a good hotel if you are looking to save money, be close to the subway and somehow in the proximity of downtown Tokyo. The room was very small, barely accommodating two people. If you are traveling with a child or two, I don't recommend it. There was no space to keep both our suitcases open on the floor and no closet space. However, the room was clean. It was a bit cool, because the building has a open roof courtyard and all the room doors are facing it. The staff was very nice and helpful. Overall, considering Tokyo's prices, it's not a bad place to stay if you are on a budget.

I booked this based on the high rating on Orbitz and when i got there the room was VERY compact. I fully expected a compact room being in Tokyo but this had zero room for my wife and I to open our suitcases without using the bed as a platform. The room is clean and has a few amenities which are very nice, but the bathroom almost looks like a plastic bathroom you'd find on a boat so it can be cleaned with a hose which makes walking around in it very loud if your roommate is trying to sleep. The other main issue we had was breakfast. My wife and I have very particular dietary needs that we don't ask anyone to cater to, but because the hotel room itself was so small, we decided to head down to their \"Breakfast Area\" and supplied microwave to eat in the morning. We were told by the staff that if we did not purchase their breakfast we were not allowed to eat there or use the hot water near the coffee station. If we couldn't eat there and the room was too small to eat in, the only other option was outside. Based on the high price of hotels in the area, i think the LEAST they would do was allow us to use their table free of charge (as the other hotels we have visited here in japan have done). This hotel wasn't the worst by any means... but i don't know why its rated so high either. It was just ok.

Affordable, Convenient, Clean

Truly enjoyed our week's stay at this property. Although the room was small as typical for Tokyo (4 foot double bed and a combo tv bench/desk with a gap in between enough to open luggage), the bed comfortably slept the wife baby and I. The area and hotel itself was very safe and clean. We did not take part in the hotel breakfast (additional fee) but there were plenty of food options around the hotel. What was amazing is the fact that there are lots of food options nearby that open late or are 24/7 due to the proximity of the Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT) so when we got back to the hotel late after a long day out, we are always fed properly.

Note: Notwithstanding some prior reviews, the hotel does NOT loan guests with a data enabled mobile device for your use while in Tokyo.

Location was great, close to airport shuttle service, restaurants, metro, and convenience marts. Service was friendly but room was terribly small even by Japanese standards. There were two of us, and barely enough room for our luggage.

Convenient and comfortable stay at this hotel.

Breakfast was delicious and filling. Amenities were provided and there is bath soak powder that is free to take in the lobby which was a treat for soaking in the tub after walking around the whole day. Bed was very comfortable which made for a good night's rest. AC was cool and can be adjusted accordingly. Wifi was fast.

The rooms were quite small so this is more ideal for couples or if travelling solo. However, it was very clean and I had a very comfortable stay in all.

Clean hotel a little away from the centre of Tokyo

Hotel is clean, equipped with 2 washing machines (costing 200 yen for a 30 minute wash) and 2 driers (100 yen for 30 minutes), which is not enough for a hotel of this size but there is a coin laundry about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are small - typical for Tokyo.

It can be tricky to get to but if you can get to Tokyo station and then take the Hibiya line to Ningyocho and take exit a2 the hotel is located 4 lefts and then 4 rights away (the hotel says it is a 3 minute walk away but if you are carrying luggage or you walk at a normal pace it'll take about 10 minutes). It is also shown on maps outside the station.

There are places to eat around the hotel but overall it is a pretty quiet location.

I would recommend this hotel if there is not much choice available in this price range or if you value cleanliness over location.

Good Location

Hotel is located near three different subway lines, Asakusa, Hibiya and Hanzomon, making travelling to places of interest like Disneyland, Skytree, Meiji Shrine, Sensoji, Harajuku, etc by Tokyo Subway. The room is small but bed is comfortable, wifi speed is fast and all necessities for a comfortable stay are provided for. 7-Eleven is nearby. Although lots of eateries are around the hotel but majority do not open early for breakfast. Have to eat the hotel breakfast when set off early.
