Typical Toyoko Inn quality if you are familiar with the chain. Rooms are on the small side but very clean and functional. Breakfast is included but this particular location have limited seating so at times it can be crowded. You may have to wait your turn at a table while holding your food.

Choice of items for breakfast is ok. I've seen much more elaborate setups at other Toyoko Inns but those locations have more space. This is metropolitan Tokyo after all.

Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and adequately sized for Japanese standards. The hotel is located multiple subway lines making it easy to move around the city.

Breakfast was well stocked with some items rotating throughout our stay. They have tables and chairs for about 20 people in the lobby breakfast area with takeout containers available for those who prefer to eat in their rooms.

Lots of convenience stores, a grocery store, and many restaurants across the price spectrum within a few minutes walk.

This accommodation was great and the breakfast was excellent. My only negative feedback was that the room was a bit smelly of cigarette smoke and you could smell people smoking from their rooms. We were travelling with little kids and it would’ve been better to be put on a level where there was non-smoking.

We needed just 1 night to stay over after arriving from the airport, before moving along to kyoto. We wanted somewhere cheap but comfortable and This hotel certainly met this criteria. Close enough to the station (anywhere closer was more expensive) and comfy beds in nice clean rooms. Free breakfast was very tasty. Just right.

I　stayed　in　a　twin　room　with　my　daughter.　We　found　the　room　and　the　bathroom　to　be　small　although we know it's the central Tokyo standard. It was hard to unpack and pack our suitcases due to the limited space, and we kept on dropping stuff in the bathroom for the same reason. But, for budget tourists and business people who only need a place to sleep, it is very convenient. The front staff are very helpful.

Strong smoke smell

This must be a very old building because there’s a strong cigarette smoke smell in the room, the kind of smell that lets you know it’s been there since the time smoking was allowed inside. It’s really disgusting.

Free breakfast is very limited but it works: rice, bread, salad, and soup. Then they add either eggs, chicken or any other dish depending on the day of the week.

I was not able to use the washing machine because there was always someone doing the laundry, however there’s a coin laundry a couple of blocks away.

The location is excellent!!!! Close to 4 Metro lines, very convenient to go to anywhere! very quiet room and standard room size in Japan. Have coin laundry makes the trip much easier as I stayed in Tokyo 14 days this time. Staff are all very friendly. Only one thing is quite disappointed is that they use plastic container in the breakfast service, which is not very eco-friendly. Other than that, everything is perfect in staying here. Highly recommend to everyone.

The rooms were small, which was what we expected coming in. To be fair I expected a lot smaller. I've read other reviews where if you have a lot of luggage it'll be difficult to fully open it unless you put it on the bed. Note I stayed in a twin room. The staff was friendly, no fluent English-speaking staff but they'll try their best to communicate one way or another. 5 minutes from Ninyocho station provides easy access, plenty of convenience stores around, and a good chunk of restaurants. The lobby is a nice place to rest and have a snack, a lot of tables to sit at. Overall a very good budget-friendly option, that I would go back to again.

The INN is situated in between 2 train lines (Ningyoucho and Suitengumae) which at first may seem confusing and far. However in succeeding days you can tell yourself it is actually convenient since you have access to 2 train stations within 3-5 min walk. To top that, it is very near to TCAT bus terminal that give you limousine bus access to Narita and Haneda airports. Minimum flag down rate with taxis to reach to or from hotel, which made more convenient if you got plenty of luggages.

The rooms are OK, true that matresses are on the firm side but its value for money that counts. Comes with free breakfast which saves you breakfast allowance for travelers.

For a low-budget hotel, our family had everything we needed. We booked 2 rooms for 10 days and had a great time. The Japanese breakfast was perfect to get us started each day. The hotel is only a couple of blocks from the subway and a half mile to the nearest JR station. There are convenience stores everywhere and lots of restaurants within a short walking distance. Wonderful, affordable hotel in Nihombashi, close to Ningyocho station, giving easy access to all of the major parts of Tokyo. Included breakfast buffet was a lifesaver in getting over our jetlag. Being in the banking district, the trains around rush hour were never crowded when going back toward Chuo, as you would if you were a tourist. A Lawson's is just around the corner and, as well as a My Basket grocery store. Staff and even fellow guests were always courteous, even to a big bearded gaijin. Washer and dryer are serviceable, if modest in size and power. Bidet had a seat warmer and warm water, although electric bidets never match the pressure I'm used to with my mechanical one. Duvet is wonderfully plush and warm, even if the bed is on the harder side. As long as you're not used to a custom/high-end mattress, you'll be fine. Room is economy sized, but the thought put into the design makes it feel larger. My one recommendation to tourists is to go to Kyoya, a Okonomiyaki place a few minutes away. The food was delicious, but the service was unforgettable. The owner speaks near-fluent English and will make you feel right at home in Tokyo.

You can hear guest talking at just a normal conversation level and doors closing with a thud if left to close on their own. The rooms were fairly spacious. While there aren't a huge amount of nearby restaurants, the ones that are there aren't bad.

The property was amazing it was about a 5 min or less walk to the closest station to get the journey going but that morning walk does help stretch the legs. The staff is super friendly, very helpful and uses translators when they do get stumped. two towels or pillows please

Please ensure that you have at least two towels or pillows when people are booking rooms with double or twin beds. Travelled the world over and this is the first time I had to ask reception for the missing items.

Also, there should be notices produced that allows people to place on the outside door handle not to be disturbed or especially not to have the room cleaned - especially important and unnecessary if you're only staying for 2 or 3 nights.

Please install motion sensors in the corridors as it's not necessary to have lights on constantly, wasting energy. European hotels are already doing this.

Breakfast is good but have noticed it being the same having each morning having stayed at the hotel several nights. Bring in a bit more variety.

Not so good. I requested for early check-in at 1000 hours but they mistook it as 2200 hours. So, they refused to check me in when I reached at 1030 hours, despite they were wrong and I told them I had a meeting at 1200 hours.
