this place was dirty and rundown. hardwood floor was dirty. tub was dirty and nasty. towels were dirty. no closet. paint in hallway and room looked chipped. one of the worst places I've ever stayed in my life.
staff was actually helpful when I asked for extra blankets, but unfortunately the blankets they gave me had numerous holes in them. just a bad look all the way around. I can't believe I paid as much $$ as I did to stay at this place. I really deserve a refund.

Staff friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Good location to stores and gas stations. Easy to get to the interstate. Had good cable channels. Air conditioning worked well. Bed was comfortable for me. Nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. Shower water temp was good as well. Parking is fine, but don't come back late cause you'll have to park far and walk. I got back from a graduation party late and had to walk a ways. I believe I had stayed here before and I wasn't impressed way back then, but now it's much better and the price was reasonable for 2 nights. I would stay again.

Least expensive motel in the area I think, and by a good bit. Seemed to be populated by a lot of construction folks and also a lot of transient types hanging around in the back. OVERALL pretty clean but aged. No rug in room but vinyl plank, clean floor but over used shower which had black stuff on the floor. Bath was pretty clean -shower notwithstanding-but room amenities were limited to a cake of soap and the obligatory plastic water cups. Fresh power strip beside the bed was convenient, but other furniture in room could have been inside or outside use.

AGAIN, cheap and what you would expect for low cost.....however, clean and quiet with washer and dryer, microwave, refrigerator etc..... no mistaking it for the RITZ, but for the price perfectly adequate for a one night break from travel. no car charger or anything tech but WIFI worked (not blazing speed, but) and the snack machine was full. Close to a lot of food and such - within a mile max. Good Value

It’s clear the owners take pride in maintaining the property, as everything was clean and well kept. The lobby in particular was very clean and had a fresh scent.
The hotel is in a great location, with several dining options nearby. It’s also especially convenient for visiting nearby colleges, and we appreciated being able to avoid heavy traffic when leaving. Overall, a well-located and well-maintained place to stay.

I was asked at check-in if we were travelling with pets, we were not. Two adults, one room, one night. The room itself was ok but the matress was old and made loud noises if you turned.

The room next to us had one large and one small dog. The dogs barked from 2-4AM, we were unable to sleep.

This hotel may be more of a halfway house....

Sleepless in Binghamton

Let me just preface my review by saying that I am a 70 y.o. activist who frequently travels alone and rarely can make a reservation in advance. I dont drive after dark so wherever I am, my reservation is made within minutes of wherever the sun sets. A family member recommended motel 6- where they leave the light on. This time, i wish they'd left the heat on. It was 41 degrees outside & colder indoors. I searched for a thermostat- and I was told it was in the air conditioner. Ok, the air conditioner was up high on the wall.
There's no elevator and i was on the 2nd floor. After climbing the stairs & finally getting in the room @ 7:30p ( the key card worked but to open the door, you had to PULL UP the handle instead of down) all i wabted was warmth.
I had to use a wooden chair & nightstand ( thank you for not bolting it to the wall) to turn it on. All night it was on 86 and it never got warm until 8am when I checked out.
The amenities- free parking. No liner for the ice bucket, a microwave that had a \"door lock\" , no facial tissue, toiletries or a close t. IT WAS NOT WORTH $121. Needless to say, I would have fared better sleeping in my car, at least I h ave good heat in it.

Overall I guess it was OK but would probably try another property if ever back in Binghampton.

This facility was overpriced and underwhelming. The staff was not particularly friendly and initially gave us a different room than we'd paid for. The room we wound up getting was utilitarian but lacked typical amenities like shampoo and a coffeemaker. There was a coffeemaker in the lobby but even that was available for only a few hours in the morning. There were no other breakfast options. The bed mattress was thin and soft. The check in was fine. The parking is very questionable. The room amenities are seriously the worst I've ever seen. We have an entire bed missing in our room. The bed we have is lumpy and there is a cheap wavy mattress pad and these are not even close to decent pillows and only 3 for a king bed. No tissues. Two small shampoos the size of ketchup packets. 2 adults, only 2 towels. But most of all dirty. There is blood chunks on the bathroom door and wall mixed with a hefty amount of dirt. The room is very tough to open. I personally cannot open it my husband has to. Would definitely not recommend. I took photos.

This place is one step above awful.
Worst feature was a side entrance to the building that remained unlocked all night. The hallways stink and are dark. The four chairs in the lobby have black stains. My bath towel had a stain.
The bed was comfortable but sat on top of noisy springs that woke up the other person in the room when Ingot up in the middle of the night.
A/C worked but also noisy.
The TV lost its signal every 60 seconds. Useless.
And then there’s the stuff I expected: No breakfast. No pool. No view. No grass.
The property is dated and unattractive.
From the moment you slide your license under the protective glass to the clerk, you begin to regret the reservation.
On the plus side, it was the cheapest option by about $20 and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there if I were a college student, cash-strapped or on a roadtrip and in need of rest.
But you’ll have to spend that extra $20 on breakfast so might as well stay at a better place where that is included.
The Comfort Inn next door was no Marriott but looked a lot nicer than Motel 6.
