Could not close the curtains so we got light on the room all the time. Had to use a trash back to cover the light. The shower fauce would not close complete so it dripped all the time. Good location lots of stores and a mall.

The breakfast wasn't that good and not worth the money charged.
The carpet in the room looks beaten and slippery. The door to my room needs repair and looks half closed when locked.
My floor was noisy especially weekend and one could hear people talking in the other room during the night.
The entire building needs renovation.

Toilet did not flush properly, bathtub drains extremely slow, breakfast wasn't that good either.
Denise
Hotel was great, very clean, terrific breakfast included. I forgot my toothbrush and the front desk gave me one! Parking lot was in terrible shape, awful potholes, but I doubt the hotel has control over that.
Marlyn
The room was not clean. The bathroom was dirty, and the room needed a deep cleaning.
Michael
Staff very helpful

The breakdown menu was very good and varied. Karen, the server was awesome. Front desk personal was helpful. Hotel rooms could stand to be refurbished.
roxana
The room was on the first floor and window was drafty and very noisy outside. The bathtub was clogged and the caulking needs to be updated in the bathroom.
I requested to be moved but they could not accommodate, as hotel was fully booked.

This was the most disappointing, disgusting stay in a LaQuinta we have ever experienced! The room was worn & dirty. Beds were uncomfortable. Any & all doors or drawers didn’t close properly. Hard furnishings were stained & dirty.
Prior to Wyndham taking over the chain, this location was neat & tidy & a dependable spot to stay with dogs. No more!!!

To be clear, I am 76 years old and have stayed in hotels from the East Coast to the West Coast and NEVER had such a terrible experience as I did at the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham in Binghamton - Johnson City New York. I checked in around 3:30 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026. I retired to bed around 11 PM and was just falling asleep when I heard a thump at my door. I went to the door to discover that the door latch was not in the same closed position I left it in. I proceeded to close the latch again and went back to bed. I now heard a banging at my door and went to see what the problem was. I asked who it was and was told it was the desk clerk from the hotel and he was angry. He evidently tried to get into my room with the pass key but couldn’t because of the latch. I opened the door as far as the latch would allow me to and saw the desk clerk on the other side. Yelling at me, he said I must evacuate the room because it wasn’t my room. (the room I was given a key to enter when I checked in from a different desk clerk). I told the person that I have my check-in paper work and I do in fact belong in that room. The yelling intensified but I said I wasn’t about to leave the room and that I was in bed at that time. The obstinate hotel clerk kept yelling but I said that I wasn’t about to leave the room that I was checked in to and that it was very late. He finally left after attempting to enter the room with the key card but couldn’t because I kept the latch in place. He fin

The staff is super nice, always. Stayed here many times with my wife, two teenage boys and our dog. Everyone is so nice to our dog. The lady that serves breakfast is so helpful and friendly. Lol ... Love the story how they got her a Snuggy because she used to always wrap up in a blanket.
James
Mold on the bathroom floor. Furniture is dirty and worn. The floor wasn’t vacuumed. The window is taped shut.
Further more they charged me $14 and can’t tell me what it was for. I didn’t even sleep here due to the dirty room.
And the kicker, they won’t respond to the hotels.com chat

There was no tissues in the room. There was a metal box in bathroom that was supposed to contain tissues, went to the front desk to ask(have bad allergies)and they didn’t have any so I had to use toilet paper and ran out of that
Ed

Room was spacious and clean. Had a yappy small dog in another room that woke us up at three am. As for the breakfast we got down there at nine. No eggs left, no bacon, three yogurts and pancake machine wasn’t working. No staff monitoring the breakfast so we went elsewhere to eat.
Dejan
Clean quiet and comfortable

Room was fine. The furniture was obviously worn in areas. The maid service was just OK. They only swapped out the bathroom towels and reloaded coffee and toiletries.

Everything was good. Clean. Good breakfast. Even with pre-check-in, it took some time to get our room; and front desk tried to charge for things that were pre-paid. All in all, good stay and large room
Rosemarie

The TV would not work with the remote control and could not find the channels because the remote would not select anything. The bathroom door would not close and it would screech when it was opened to go in.
The cabinet of the microwave would not stayed closed and the curtains would not close and having the streetlights shine in all night
Very frustrating stay. Never again.

The door to my room was left open by housekeeping staff (propped by a towel) and left open all day until I returned to my room in the evening. I complained, and was told this had never happened before, and I was given a partial refund.

Marilyn
We had a lovely room with King bed and things we didn’t get before- couch, lounge chair, wet bar area
Dana

Lethia
The staff are really the best part of this property. They were very receptive to whatever I needed it and as long as they had it to send, they brought it to me. I cleaned the room myself after moving in because I did see Hair, what appeared to be blood on the sink, And dirt and dust in various areas. But for the most part, it was a comfortable stay.

Michael
Nice for the night. Would go back.

Not up to Wyndham standards
Our tub filled up over halfway very quickly during a shower. We notified the desk and we were told later it had been fixed. That was not true, the next morning it was the same. Both beds were very creaky whenever anyone moved waking us up.
Barbara J
Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff and convenient location.
Sarah
No pool or gym
We booked this hotel because the website said it had a pool and a gym and they didn’t have either. Not good!!

Convenient...just off the highway.

Great BBQ place across the street.

I would never recommend this hotel. The room smelled like a wet dog, bathroom sink would not drain, shower around the caulking black appeared to mold, microwave was being balanced with folded up cardboard, bed was not comfortable at all, furniture not clean, placed my pants on sofa picked up and was covered with small white hair like something, it was discussing. No one at the desk to check out, still haven't received a receipt, expected to receive email. I actually had to talk to a staff member who was setting up for breakfast and he said I would get an electronic receipt via email, nothing to date. I recommend to anyone to not book at this particular site.
Virginia
Property was run down and needed updates. Was loud at night. Not enough parking in the parking lot. Police was there when we arrived, as a woman was sitting outside the front doors with what looked like all her belongings in garbage bags. Room had a bad/weird smell. I will not be staying at this property again!
Sandra
Convenient location. Dirty. Doors tough to open. Lights broken. Air conditioner loud.

The bathroom was in need of repair. The shower/tub and toilet did not drain properly. The toilet paper holder was missing and a fresh roll of paper was placed on a shelf near the toilet, still in its wrapper. The bathroom looked like it had received a lot of use and efforts had been made to paint over the damage but the overall effect was \"old and tired\". The breakfast was good and plentiful. People were complaining about a noisy party the previous night- fortunately not on our floor!

Perfectly Acceptable Chain Hotel Experience
Had a perfectly satisfactory overnight stay at this hotel. Online early check-in saved time. Our requested floor preference was honored. The room was clean and pleasingly decorated, had a nice fridge and microwave. Wifi was good. Beds were a bit hard and mattresses needed turning. Free breakfast was better than many. Altogether a good stay.

Very noisy location. Breakfast mediocre. Staff uninterested.

We loved the kithenette

The entire second floor smelled like cigarette smoke. There was dried toothpaste on the bathroom floor and little hairs (like whiskers) all over the bathroom shower stall walls. The carpets did not look vacuumed either. I told the front desk when I checked out. They did not seem bothered. This is my first negative review I have ever written which means it must have been very bad.
