Property was old and dated, and other than the lobby it looked as if not too much care to overall appearance was given including the room. Proximity to the college and local dining/shopping options were great but that's about it. Would not stay there again.

Highly overpriced for the condition of facilities. Siding outside of buildings was falling off in many places. The bathroom was the worst part. Toilet area did not provide enough room to reach toilet paper holder right next to you. Toilet was bolted down but there was not caulking or grout around the bottom. Toilet rocked terribly when you sat down. Overall the place is OK but in desperate need of updates/reconfiguration.

Old tired property that desperately needs an update and maintenance. Room was old and tired looking. Coffee maker but no coffee pot. Shower was nice. Bed not so.
Check in was a nightmare. Nice associate but not attentive to detail. Will go to different options in future. Sad because property is centrally located.

We have stayed there many times over the years and had great experiences with the room condition, property condition and breakfast. We have not been back in a few years and were shocked with how much it has declined. The room was dirty, hole in the carpet, and stains on the walls. The outside of the building is falling apart with rotting wood siding and peeling paint. The breakfast was minimal even for a basic continental option. We were charged top dollar for a weekend stay and will not be returning as there are many other options that would provide a more comfortable experience with cleaner and updated rooms.

Overnight Trip

Room was very clean bathrooms looked new pleanty of closed space the bed was firm and the matress very confortable however the sofa bed needed a new face lift or I should say a new matress as you could feel all the springs pinching your body and my child is very light so its not a matter of being heavy It was just realy bad. On the other hand it was very close to the BU and the area was very quite. ++++ Also, breakfast was okay for a quick bite before you hit the road. I would stay again next time we visit our other child who attends the BU.

Dogs dogs dogs - barking

Check in was excellent. Hotel is dated and needs upgrading in the worse way. Room was clean but carpet old. Bed was comfortable. My biggest challenge was tge room next to me had two very large barking dogs. Who on both morning woke me up at 5:00 am barking and pitching a fit. Seems unreasonable that they don't buildings separated pets and no pets. 5 buildings and many looked vacant for the weekend. My room was not discounted for kennel disturbance. All have been alerted to a very bad policy, in my tired mind.

This property was originally chosen because it was a convenient distance from my family reunion. But it was so much more. The breakfasts were exceptional. It is the first time we have ever stayed in a place that varies their daily offerings. Also, it is close to grocery stores and movie theatters. We will be back every August.

In room 714 on our last night I just had a feeling why would there be two mirrors in the bathroom? I felt behind the mirror and felt a mirror on the other side. Saw there was damage to the back or the wall behind the mirror as well. It was very creepy and with it being right by a University that’s just disturbing.

The property is showing it's age. The driveway is severly pot-holed, the bricks close to the ground are crumbling, and the finish on furniture in our room was peeling.

The room was generally clean but there was hair on the box spring near the headboard, and dust on the edges of the cabinets and in the corners on the floor/carpet.

Also the matress on the sifa bed was thin, and it would be nice if it had a cover.

Lily is an amazing front desk clerk. Friendly, personable, kind, and seems to care for those checking in. Good breakfast with a clean area to prepare / serve up your choices of a variety of foods. Pot holes in parking lot should be addressed and repaired before they swallow up a car. Management was friendly and easy to talk to. Check out clerk was nice....property was well lighted at night as we came back to our room from a day visiting family in the area. Enjoyable stay, we will be back SOON. Only room concern was ceiling fan hasn't been cleaned in awhile. Satisfied with the appearance of the room otherwise..

Potholes big enough to swallow a wheel all over the driveway. So much salt had been laid down I thought we were being preserved.
The front desk worker Latricia was very nice and accommodating to our requests. I asked for an additional blanket as the room had been cold the night before which she provided with no problem. She went out of her way to be pleasant when I noted that the water cooler in the exercise room was leaking. She was also very helpful with directions. Keep her on staff!

Outside it smells like a sewer broke. I couldnt open the door to leave, the door was jamming (fire hazard) room 713. The room itself was fairly clean superficially, but I could see it wasn't deep cleaned on carpeted areas there were leaves and a hair or two found from prior visitors.

Love the room. It had a kitchen and couch to watch tv. Lots of channels to watch. Shower was great. One hiccup was when I got back late night from a family outing, there wasn't a spot to park. I had to park on the side of the driveway. Otherwise I have no complaints of the property.

Lily is an amazing employee who goes above what is expected to help others. She seems to truly care about your stay, the house cleaning staff was friendly, cordial and polite as we passed many on the side walks ( a nice feeling as we walked to and from breakfast ). We loved our room and will be staying again...thank you

I like the layout of the one bedroom on first floor of the room and then a loft bedroom. However, the floor creaks so much on the loft that you hear every movement from above.
Some areas of the exterior are getting rough. It was clean and convenient to places I needed to go though.

The bathroom floor where it meets the wall was dirty and had dust bunnies... same on the little ledge/lip of the tile baseboard. Bed and living room were clean.

A hidden gem, my handicap accessible room was large and clean. The breakfast was fresh, even the toppings for the oatmeal, which surprised me. Very good in all aspects.

The outside of the property could use a face lift, looked a bit shabby. The room itself was clean!

Check in ridiculously long/bureaucratic. Rooms not well numbered at all. Overpriced and noisy. Heard every step of room above. Will not be back

Staff was very accommodating. Easy parking and check in. Breakfast was great, nice dining room. Outside of the buildings needed a little attention. Pool was dated, as was the room bathroom. Kitchen was great, sleeping area as well. I would stay here again.

The hotel was dated, our room has trash from the last occupants, it was noisy, just a really gross hotel overall.

We stayed here with our son and his service dog. Everything at the hotel was handicapped accessible for him and his wheelchair from the ramp up to the room to the shower in the bathroom. The room was very clean and neat and even the grounds were well maintained. Everyone was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Keep up the great work!

The outside of building was filthy and unkept as well as the grounds. It was not in a safe area. The room was ok but smelled of smoke even though it is a no smoking hotel. The toilet was in the room with the shower and not alot of room in between to use the facilities, tight squeeze. Front desk staff was ok but seemed like they didn’t like their job. I would never stay here again. The room was not very clean and it also smelled like mildew.

Exactly what we needed

What a perfect place to visit with friends. The only addition we would have liked it one more living room chair. Breakfast was great, people were friendly and room was clean and well appointed. We will likely come back next year to meet half way with friends again next year.

Staff was very nice until an accident took place that I unfortunately didn’t have time to stop and tell the office about before heading into work first thing in the am. Not to mention they have absolute no respect for your privacy. They will knock one time wait long enough for you to get out of the bathtub and then immediately try to walk in even when you say “be right there”. Also they will enter your room when you’re not there and do a “walk through inspection”. Which means they have to be watching for when you leave to know when you’re not in the room
