I booked a two queen-size room, but when checking in 11:45 pm, the front desk person said they don’t have a 2 queen-size room. They could only offer a king-size bed room, and she told me to go and look into a different hotel. I was really upset that that was what she told me. The service was unprofessional and rude. We took the room because we it was midnight and were exhausted and will deal with it the following day. My husband, 18 year son and I all squeezed in for the night. What really upset me was that the service was unprofessional and rude. Telling a customer to leave to find another hotel at midnight is unacceptable.

Was unfortunately in town for an unexpected funeral so lots of emotions. Had not stayed there before but definitely will again. Staff: every single one was so pleasant and friendly. Shout out to Francine at the front desk… always had a smile on her face and went out of her way to help. Wish I had gotten the names of other staff.. one gentleman was constantly cleaning all the time. My sister left her coat in the room and the housekeeper ran outside to catch us and give it back. Breakfast was really good every day and coffee or hot water was always available. Only complaint is that the water fountain/refill station was broken and they didn’t sell bottled water so I had to go buy water to keep in my fridge. Will definitely return to this location!

TV remote didn't work -- couldn't even shut it off so had to sleep with the welcome screen on, No one available to fix it, Offered another room but we'd already unpacked. No soda machine -- poor selection of drinks at the front desk. Put in a room directly below noisy people -- stomping on floor until 2 am. Should let guests on floors above rooms that they should show consideration. People accross the hall were also noisy.

My stay at the Hampton Inn was one of best experiences yet. On my first night stayed there was an issue with the room not being clean, but it was quickly corrected by giving a clean room. The best part of this hotel was the swimming pool where the water temperature was at 90 degrees, no exaggeration!! It was an incredible experience to be able swim and enjoy being in the water without your body temperature going cold like other swimming pools. Food was excellent with your own to do waffles and a hot variety of breakfast items. You can walk to all the shopping centers that literally 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from hotel. Staff was friendly and attentive to all my needs and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for.

This facility is not up to Hampton Inn standards. It feels like somebody bought a 25 year old Comfort Inn and changed the name. it’s very dirty and worn out. The mattress and pillows are not what I usually get at a Hampton Inn. The towel felt cheap, the elevator was disgusting and dirty, and a little sketchy. I give it an OK rating because it was safe and the sheets were clean. But the experience is more like I would expect a motel six.

Check out is at noon and the warmest pool ever stayed open until midnight! Breakfast was delicious and was served until 10am. As a mom of 4, this was all a special treat. I slept amazing. The bed was so comfortable and the water pressure was phenomenal. Also we felt safe. These are all big deals when I stay at a hotel. I would recommend.

I enjoyed staying at this Hampton Inn and will definitely consider returning for future stays in Binghamton. The hotel overall was very clean, attractive and appeared well maintained. I LOVED and appreciated the generous bathroom counter space in our hotel bathroom, along with the slide-out under-counter shelves that also had racks to hang the hand towels. These seemingly little things were a big plus.
On the down side, we couldn't use our air conditioning unit; though it was functioning properly, the unit itself where the air was coming out was EXTREMELY dusty and dirty and we feared all of that being blown out into our room to be breathed in.

Rug covered with pet hairs which covered our socks, footies, pajamas, clothing, etc. Checked out a day early due to conditions, advised desk of issues why, but no ansjustments offered despite unsatisfactory conditions. Conveniently located but tucked away in a slightly of way. Ignore gps directions and instead go to the Wegmans grocery store instead. The road that gps directs you on are in extreme disrepair like many in the area. If you go around the Wegmans thru their parking lot there is an entrance to the hotel and it will save wear and tear on your car's suspension.
Overall the hotel was decent. Quiet and comfortable, it's just a little dated. Breakfast was nice and the staff working the breakfast area were great.

This is a lower end Hampton Inn. It worked for what we needed but it definitely needed updated. The bathroom smelled of mold and the beds were pretty low to the ground. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. I did feel safe in the area. I was also disappointed to not see a hot tub but with the temperature of the pool, it was its own hot tub! It was so warm!

my room key card did not operate on check-in. The night manager gave me a token pass key that did work, and I had no further issues. I spoke with maintenance the next day and he said the issue was power outages. The electric locks all have batteries that should function in a power outage, but the loss of power reset the timing function in the locks. So, the key card could activate the green access light on the lock but still not open the door. I enjoy coming to this hotel and have never encountered this technical issue before. Please update the electronic door lock software if necessary or get a generator to ensure no more timing failures.

The property itself was nice, the room was clean and continental breakfast selection was very decent. The reason I am giving it a bad rating is because we had a very unpleasant check in experience. I booked 2 rooms through Expedia, however once we arrived we were told that only 1 room was available. Not exactly sure what happened with our reservation. The front desk person was extremely unprofessional and overall rude. He basically told us in a very mean way that I have to call and deal with expedia and that he cannot help us even though I had my confirmation number where it clearly stated 2 room reservation. It was late evening and I had an elderly parent and two kids. He was not sympathetic or accommodating. I get it, things happen, but he showed zero sympathy. I got mad at him and when I raised my voice he threatened me and almost kicked us out. We ended up taking just that 1 room as it was already late and we managed through the night. But this guy left a very unpleasant taste.

Everything was pretty great, despite the odd location next to a large number of U-Haul storage units and behind Wegman’s. The trucks coming in at 4/5 am to supply Wegman’s were kind of loud, but nothing a white noise app couldn’t handle. Just be advised that late at night, it’s a bit of an odd location. Would go back in a pinch though. 3/3.5 stars.

By far the best hotel stay ever. Greated by Serena when I checked. Each day I saw her she was amazing. Always friendly, asked how my stay was going, asked if I needed anything. Very attentive and personable. Jeremy I met the next day at breakfast. Very kind, nice, thoughtful, attentive. Both of them had such incredible customer service. Each day Jeremy welcomed guests at breakfast. Asked if I needed anything, how the food was. The staff really made you feel, the guests are most important. The comfort of the beds/pillows was dreamy. Beautiful, clean, quiet rooms. Housekeeping did a great job everyday of my stay. Any special request was taken care of with a smile. The indoor pool, heated. Clean area, fresh pool towels always available. Very large Wegmans a short walk from the hotel. A mall, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops all very close by. Easy on/off the highways in any direction. This was “I need a getaway stay”. This area is not quite 1.5 hours from where I live. I know that I will be back to getaway, get refreshed. The way the staff interacted with myself and other guests is the number ONE reason why. Thank you for really showing your customers are important.

EXCELLENT breakfast - the food was really a lot better than I've had in some hotels and it was fresh and plentiful. Also, the Wegman's grocery store behind the hotel is HUGE and has lots of late night food options for hungry, traveling kids.
