Check in was slow as the in training staff was helping a young child get a room key and it would be under one of two names, he also wanted to know how many keys this child wanted!! When he got to helping me i needed to show id and a credi card, he had no maps to give us as they had none. He should not have given a child a key to any room, no parent was with the child!!

Otherwise very nice. Hot apple cider at the door was very was much appreciated. Good coffee in the room. The view was very relaxing and room a good size. Was happy there.

The room was older - old kitchen appliances, carpet, decor, etc. - and had a bit of a smell. Not what I was expecting from one of Kelowna's best destinations. We did not have robes in our room and needed to call up for an extra blanket for the couch bed that our kids slept on. The bed sheets were clean and I had a comfortable night's sleep - so overall it suit our purpose. Not sure I would run back as there are much better options at comparable prices.

I had a quick shower that was depressing. Soap scum in the tile grout. Some blak gunk under the shower controlls. And the tub spout is dripping water on the back side. Im a plumber and in my opinion. Its prolly soaked in the wall and a good possibility of black mold. I slept like crap cause something in the room was congesting me. Maybe mold? I dont no. Woke up with puffy eyes and a plugged nose. Nice place tho. Just being honest

Lovely area right on the lake, nice grounds, and large unit and helpful staff. We had a issue with coffeeemaker bath towels and shower soap and all were delt with right away. Parking charges always upset me and a resort charge in autum when you are only sleeping at the resort and not using the lake, pool, or any of the other resort features also the walkway and dock are locked off so you cant use them.

Beds and bathroom felt clean. I think our unit needs a new dishwasher. Very dirty down beside the washer/dryer. It could stand new carpet in the living room and definitely a paint job. I don't think anyone cleans the windows on the outside. It's just that when you pay that much money for a stay, you expect a bit more. The staff was great, so friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful. They were filming a movie when we were there so parts of the hotel and amenities were shut down at times. The crew of the movie were very nice and it was kind of cool watching them.

The hotel and the amenities it provided was overall spectacular. Definitely gave you a vibe of staying at a resort. You have your own private beach, docks, walking paths, pools, restaurants, etc! The food was spectacular and the staff where amazing! Rated 3 stars because there was spider webs with 100's of spider eggs on top of the curtain rail in our room (gross), a weird smell coming from the drain hole of the bathtub one evening that smelt like sewage. We had to put a towel at the bottom of the door so the smell wouldn't carry into the room. It persisted to the following day as well. I also woke up 3-6 times at night as our room was facing the parking lot and you could hear the music they where playing downstairs by the main door. They kept the music playing 24 hours a day. Super unfortunate as we did enjoy staying here, but felt I had to be honest with my review.

Overall very good stay. The only downside of the location is the lack of a swimmable beach. The lake on that coast is very shallow and there are lots of seaweeds. The only chance to have a good swim in the lake is to use a paddle board and to go far off the shore.
