the photos of the Okanagan Seasons Resort in Kelowna BC were misrepresented and not at all what we found when we arrived . The rooms were filthy, I’m not certain the beds were even changed, the blinds were falling off or broken , walls filthy , toilet covered in only god knows, no toilet roll holder, lamps with shades covered in dirt and graffiti , stunk of cigarette smoke , inadequate and broken locks on doors and patios , floors filthy , pictures crooked on walls, paint peeling and cracking on the ceiling . This place should be condemned .

The place is falling apart, the walls were filthy, ceiling falling in, and there was a bug in my bed- I squished it to see what it was and called staff. They said not to worry about it- it’s a fly. I felt scared and did not want to stay. The area is shady- parking lot a disaster, pool is closed restaurant is closed with staff squatting in dirty shambles. And to top it off- at check in the credit card machine did not work so he took my card and did a manual entry on his computer- woke up 5 days later to credit card alerts for massive fraud on my card- from Quebec- never been there! Do not stay there, stop there or send anyone you care about there. It is rundown and run by shady fraudsters.

This “ resort” is now a low income long term rental motel. Such a shame it used to be a lovely although dated place to stay but now it’s just awful. I took my family here recently because I thought it would be a good place for a couple of young boys.I was remembering the large lawns, playgrounds and pools. Now everything is in broken, decrepit and covered in caution tape. The parking lots are cluttered with old cars and dump trailers.The room is very run down, toilet seat not attached, tv doesn’t work, kitchenette unit has no dishes, the garbage can was very stinky, windows covered in mildew and the blinds were broken. When I tried to take my grandsons out onto the lawn space we were treated to people in a neighbouring unit throwing up on the sidewalks and the other side has a bunch of people on the nod from the substances they used. If you are every wondering what it would be like to spend the night in a homeless shelter this is the “resort” for you.

The sign at the entrance invited you to come in and relax in the pool. When I looked at the pool it was clear that it has been quite some time since the pool had any water in it. The door to my room had several dents in it from some sort of heavy impct, it is a steel door. The room itself was nicely appointed and clean.

OK--- super dirty . main door was broken, tv remote didn't work, a/c wouldn't cool below 24 degrees Celsius , could not get wi-fi , staff was partying at 4 in the morning, they woke me up . i went to bathroom and found out i had no hot water , they didnt seem to give a s**t , they said they would look at it in the morning . and i said yes just in time for the next guys, he agreed i said i need a shower in the morning could I use another room for showering, he said sorry NO . it was getting cold around 4 am and guess what next NO furnace operation , this straw broke the camels back i FOUND GRAVEL OR SAND IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BED UNDER COVERS AND PULLED ALL THE COVERS BACK ALL KINDS OF THICK BLACK LONG HAIRS AND I HAVE SHORT GREY AT 75 YEARS OLD . there was a lot more about the dirtiness but you've heard enough, I'm going to call the health department and have them inspected. I EXPECT A FULL COMPENSATION FOR THAT STAY AND DONT LET ANOTHER CUSTOMER STAY THERE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.

Booked the stay because the motel states hot tub and swimming pool on site. Both were closed because the person at the desk says they are doing renovations, a picture thru the windows show different, no Reno’s, just decided to use as storage. Rooms were dirty, furniture old and damaged, bathroom is filthy dirty, fixtures incorrectly mounted, shower heads terrible, bottom of tub has something scummy on the bottom which I felt thru my feet…. Literally grossed out and I have a strong stomach and I can put up with a lot, mouldy caulking, mould on switch plates, front door really tight opening and closing due to door being kicked in before, and door has a split, which should have been replaced for safety, the back patio sliding window is missing a strip on the vertical blind. So people can see in leaving no privacy, got a knock at the door, woke at 6:00 in the morning by a homeless woman, probably because whoever used to live there did shady things. Not a pleasant stay, with an unfriendly front staff, that didn’t seem to care, unfortunately I would have left but the no refund policy applied, so I had to stick it out. Do not go to this motel, quite discouraging, however if you do, do a walk thru first and have low expectations. I will give a positive note tho, the parking lines are clearly marked. I have pics to attach if you want to see

Yes. Floors in bathroom and kitchen were filthy. There were at least 3 dozen dead bugs in the light in kitchen. Bugs and spider webs in the bathroom behind the toilet. Caulking around tub and sink was really done unprofessionally. Tub fixtures were loose. Cabinets in kitchen were pealing and dirty. Microwave oven was rusty on the inside. Table in kitchen had damage on table top. Kitchen counter had dent. Dents in walls. Blinds to sliding door to outside were broken. The fan/light over the beds had no \"dome\" cover and switches did not work to turn light off. We had to unscrew light bulbs to turn light out. There were big scratches on the bed headboards. We felt it was a \"bait and switch\" situation. The pictures on the webpage showed a very nice clean room but it was nothing like that!

Literally everything was horrible the owner was steady watching me and my friends thinking were going to steal his car or something ..very nosey and unwilling to let us stay more then 2 nights. On top of the rude strange behavior...like ordering pizza was suspicious....none it the amenities worked the hot tub was down for maintenance and the morning breakfast again was just trash like the customer service.thr first morning we woke up the hotel manager banging on the door asking when we are leaving...and told us that's it only one more night the hotel was empty so.i don't understand during a slow time thier harassing and evicting customers. They didn't even offer new towels or anything instead came in the room to snoop around and. Leave....

Staff was awesome but that’s about it. The room was run down, the property was in very rough shape, the area was unpleasant. The walls are paper thin between rooms so expect to hear your neighbours conversations.

While run down, the rooms WERE CLEAN and I’ll admit the bed was quite comfortable.

The rest of the facility was not great. The pool and hot tub were a terrible colour and closed off with caution tape. The public bathrooms were dirty with blood in the trash can.

I stuck it out for the weekend but will not be returning and can’t say I’d recommend the property to anyone.

Absolutely disgusting. Do not stay here! False advertising on their site. I wish I could share MY pictures. Moldy, dirty, water damaged, chipping paint, holes in walls and around pipes, smelly. It’s appalling that they are even allowed to rent this room out. I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was there—one sleepless night. Absolutely no effort or pride put into the property. Looks like they are just trying to get some money coming in until someone agrees to buy the property and tear the buildings down. Towels and sheets looked clean, but I was so grossed out, I brought in my own camping bedding from the car to sleep on and tub was so gross I didn’t use it. Indoor pool and hot tub not in service. Check in process was fast, I see now because they don’t really seem to care. Should have got my money back and slept in my car.

There was no water in the room due to a central plumbing issue. Staff were aware of the issue prior to assigning the room and did not inform me. After inquiring and being told of the problem, I inquired about moving to another room and told none were available, however, they insisted the issue would be resolved in 20 mins. Fast forward to 2+ hours later and still no resolution. I stated it was unacceptable to have no water in a hotel room and that if there were none available, I would like a refund. The staff tried arguing against a refund and tried to have me stay in the room regardless. I insisted on a refund based on the circumstances and was eventually granted one. Other than the room itself, the only way to describe the property is a derelict dump. Most of the hotel property is in various states of disrepair and the website photos are a stark cry from the actual condition of the property. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS

The courtyard area was beautiful. It was well kept. The outside of the building were in disrepair. When I arrived, they didn't have the room I booked, so they \"upgraded\" me to a suite, but told me not to use the kitchenette sink because it was clogged. I think they try to keep it clean, but the room itself is on awful shape. I felt like I was going to pull the bathtub spout right out of the wall when I was turning on the shower. In the bedroom, there's a big section of the blinds missing, meaning anyone walking by can look right in. I'm very disappointed. I've spent less money Ona far nicer hotel. The pictures in the listing do not reflect what the rooms actually look like.

The room we stayed in 316 had a fan that was threatening to fall off the ceiling, a missing handle with screws exposed in the washroom, paint bubbled and cracked, despite it being a non-smoking room there was nicotine dripping from the ceiling in the washroom. But the staff were diligent about keeping the garbage bins empty and your room tidy. The staff was also very kind at the front desk. Definitely just a thing of more TLC is needed for this place. The spot is not bad in terms of you are close to multiple restaurants and bus stops so you can easily get to point A to point B. Also beware the hanging wall socket beside the bed (it needs to be reattached properly)

I hate leaving reviews like this.

I have stayed with this property before. It wasn’t the nicest but it served its purpose. This time was way different.

When we first arrived the front end staff member was friendly. We found out the indoor pool and hot tub were out of service which sucked because we were excited, but it happens. We checked in and went to our room.

Upon walking in, we were hit with a terrible overwhelming smell of smoke. It is supposed to be a smoke free property. The smoke detector in our room was literally hanging off the wall. It had been ripped out.

Next, the blinds that cover the large sliding door window were missing some blinds and there is no curtain to pull across. This leaves the room completely open and not private.

Lastly, the cleanliness was appalling. There was other people’s hair all over the bathroom and floor. Someone’s shave stubble was all over the bathroom sink, and the walls had dirt and handprint stains all over them.

At this point, we went back to the front and asked to switch rooms. The staff member apologized and let us check out another room. We did, it was only mildly better. This one was private at least, but still random hair and black smudges/hand prints all over the walls and bathroom door.

The only reason we stayed was because we were exhausted from driving all day and needed to sleep.

I’m disappointed at how awful it was. I wasn’t expecting a fancy resort but the rooms were gross this time.

The property is definitely run down. I checked in quickly dropping off my riding gear. When I returned I wanted to wash my hands - no hair or hand soap! When looking about in and around the bathroom I saw two big areas where they tried to repair holes in the plastic tub surface. One still had a 3”- 4” crack and was very soft when I touched it. Obviously, water is getting in there. Their “fix” was to put a rubber shower mat in the tub!! I mean really??!!
This is not sanitary so shame on you staff for refusing to find me an alternate room. And yes, I did check online again and you most definitely had rooms available yet you told me you did not. And not to mention the burns or markings around the tub, the blackened dirty bathroom floor edges, the missing tiles around one area of the rooms perimeter, the sliding bathroom door which would not remain closed so no privacy, and one of the vertical blinds was also missing (again not the best privacy) leading out to the green area where my outside chair had three disgusting pieces of garbage left on it.
Someone needs to be responsible here so when people book online through Expedia or whatever provider, that they are getting a room which meets some standard. Or is this just the way Canada is moving towards?
I do not recommend this so called “Resort”!

Avoid at All Costs – This Place Shouldn’t Call Itself a Resort!!! This place is a disgrace — dirty, unsafe, nothing like advertised, and not even worth a single star.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had in Kelowna. Do not be fooled by the pictures online—they are completely misleading. The reality is a filthy, outdated, and poorly maintained property that should not be advertised as a “resort.”

The rooms were disgusting: dirty floors, furniture broken, bedding that looked like it hadn’t been washed in weeks, and a damp, musty odor that hit me the second I opened the door. I didn’t feel comfortable touching anything, let alone sleeping there. The bathrooms were no better—grimy, poorly cleaned, and with faucets and exhaust that barely worked.

The so-called amenities were laughable. The pool and common areas were dirty and clearly neglected, making them unusable. The grounds looked abandoned, with trash, weeds and even dead rats seen on grassy area while I was bringing my dogs for a walk. This place feels more like a neglected roadside motel than a destination for travelers.

Staff did nothing to make the stay better. They were unhelpful, and disinterested. It was obvious that guest comfort and satisfaction were the last thing on their minds.

This property is a disgrace to Kelowna tourism. For the price they charge, it borders on a scam. Do yourself a favor—stay literally anywhere else. This was not just disappointing; it was unacceptable. I left

Disappointing Stay – Needs Major Improvements

We stayed here for a few days while visiting Kelowna, and unfortunately, our experience was far from ideal. Cleanliness was a major issue—the place did not feel properly cleaned, and it was hard to feel comfortable. To make things worse, both the bathtub and shower were broken (hot water temperature was burning hot).

Until some serious maintenance and cleaning improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

First, I have to say the customer service was awesome. When I go there the first room was not great a bit of damage and just not overall great. The door had a big gap in it. The second room also not great was very big but the bathroom shower had a big whole in the tub surround exposing the wood behind it. They moved me to a third room which was better. If it wasn’t he would have kindly cancelled the booking but I chose to stay because it was already late and I had driven 9 hours and was tired.

However after getting settled and showering I walked from the shower to the bed and my feet were black. So the floor had never been washed.

There were homeless lying on the sidewalk in the shade. The patio door lead out to the pool yard which would be great for anyone with kids in and out all the time but the door did not lock properly and anyone with any strength could have opened it and the bar used for security had not way of latching in place it would have been easily removed and entry would have been made. Overall I did not feel comfortable here. I had to back my car up to the concrete wall for me to feel safe that it would not be broken into. I even went to Canadian tire and purchase a steering wheel lock because I just didn’t feel to safe.

The area and location however were great. The grounds were kept well and was close to Walmart and Canadian tire and many other stores.

At the end of the day I probably wouldn’t stay here again only because of the cleanliness.

The only thing that kept us there was the fact that the sheets were clean and didn’t have bugs and we were only staying one night. The entire property is old, run down, and literally falling apart. The beds in our room had mattresses that looked 20 years old and felt that way to. Only some of the lights in our room worked. There were only two electrical outlets and one of them had a power bar with the microwave, fridge, coffee maker and TV plugged into it. The lock on the sliding door didn’t work. The bathtubs enamel was chipping off and there was a cigarette burn on the counter. During my shower I was scalded with hot water twice and then shot with freezing cold water twice. Our coffee maker was disgustingly dirty and they gave us condiments for coffee but no coffee. When we arrived all we had was two bath towels and we had to go to the office and ask for hand towels and face cloths which we were told were still in the laundry so we got two hand towels and one face cloth and then we had to go back again for another towel and face cloths. There were empty alcohol cans and bottles strewn around the property and the indoor pool and hot tub were out of order “for an unknown period of time”. We didn’t even go in the outdoor pool due to the conditions of everything else. The pictures on the website are very deceiving as the property looks nice but it’s one of those “good from far but far from good”.

It was unfortunate that the pools and hot tub were not operational while we were there because we were looking forward to using them. Overall, the room was fairly clean, it was just the floors that felt a little dusty. It would have been nice if the lock and bar on the back sliding door looked a little more reliable. The garden view was nice and the room was very spacious with a well-functioning A/C. Unfortunately, the people around us were quite loud at night and a guest did not pick-up after their dog by our room. Overall, it was a decent experience.

It is the most disturbing and disappointed property I have ever seen. The attendant offered an up grade which included a kitchen but no bulbs in the lamps. Dirty entry way, no plug ins in the bedroom.
No pool. Out of service.
Expedia would not allow me to cancel when I arrived. Sleeping with one eye open.

Temper your expectations, Indoor Pool & Hot tubs are out of order, rooms are clean but dated. Some routine maintenance is a bit behind. A cheap place to stay if you don't mind a bit cheesy.

People doing drugs on the property and the rooms were worn out and shower dirty. The beds were clean and relatively comfortable

Grande insatisfaction

Séjour de 2 nuits. Premier matin douche eau chaude, deuxième matin pas eau chaude. Pas eau chaude du tout dans lavabo. Pas de micro onde. Autour de la porte qui donne directement sur l'extérieure, un jour d'au moins 2cm était visible. Grosse lumière à l'extérieur qui éclairait la chambre toute la nuit. Immeuble vieillot, ne pas se fier aux photos qu'ils ont fourni sur le site de hotel.com. hotel.com ne devrait pas suggéré celui-ci sur son site. Le prix ne justifie pas les services. Le préposé à la réception pas très accueillant. Le bain était fissuré et l'eau dégoutait tout le temps. Cour malpropre. Les fauteuils dans la chambre était très sales.

I found the place cozy , clean & nice..
Though our stay was short but still.
Place is perfect for all kind of families.. old people to relax outside if not willing to go scroll the city. Kids can play in the garden & swimming pool of course to chill out..

Garbage around the property everywhere.
Pool is dirty and cold, indoor pool is closed down.
Empty alcohol bottle around courtyard just laying there for days.
Cigarette but cans full, scattered around in front of rooms, that looked to be there for years.
Rooms are ok, but security locks and patio locks missing or not functional.
Police were on the property twice while I was there for 1 night.
Never again.

Bbq was great. Toilet seat fell off first use, difficult to use. Coffee packets were for different coffee maker, could not use. Indoor pool and hot tub closed; could have advised us ahead. Bed and TV were great.

The property has amazing potential but unfortunately the owners are just interested in revenue. I want to buy it and fix it up!!! If you have really really low expectations, you'll be fine. But I expect more from any motel. Do bettet!

Needs work

We have stayed here 4 times and really enjoy the price, grounds, pools, kitchen facilities and diverse families having fun. Unfortunately we noticed that there were a lot of maintenance issues - shower rod loose, door latch loose, toilet leaking so noisily running off and on etc. Reported the toilet with no success. Sad because could be a very enjoyable place.

Well when we pulled up it looked a little bit rough but when we got in the room it was super clean they jad a cute little outdoor pool it's just because its an older Resort staff was friendly
