Fridge noisy had turn it off at PowerPoint.No exhaust fan in bathroom,just open window with the fly screen torn and open.
A very..very tired motel for the price .
I could have got the same room for $260 at the Holiday Inn.Sat Night. Aberdeen $220 for a very below average room.

You get what you pay for. The place is old but... It is clean, the bed is comfortable, the air con effocnet and quiet and did I mention it was clean?

Bill was an excellent t mmhost when the Ferry was three hours late. Nothing seemed a bother so excellent customer service as well.

As an over nighter you can't fault the place for value for money.

It is a joke. The laughing stopped when I remembered how much we paid. Multilingual staff have limited English. One uncomfortable chair in the room for two people. Dirty, spider webs on the ceiling, no bathroom exhaust fan. The cleaner uses the reading lamp electricity wall plug and does not plug the lamp back in. Three glasses. One side plate, no other plates. Local pub was shut. Really old SD TV so I doubt if it can be used for streaming video. No wifi unless you go to the office to ask for a user name and password. Then there are also a few negatives, like $205 per night for a room that is unfit for purpose.

We didn't even stay 10 minutes. The bathroom was mouldy and the toilet leaked. The was old, too red and smelled damp It was unfit and unhealthy for my young child to sleep there. Late on a Friday night, I had to quickly find another room at my own expense. Do not stay here.

Noisy, run down, in need of severe renovation

The good:
-aircon worked
-bed and sheets were clean
-TV worked

The bad:
-Extremely noisy from traffic on roadside
-rusted fridge
-shower water a trickle going from extremely hot to extremely cold when turning on the tap
-shower curtain bolts falling off
-toilet dirty with brown stain
-front door has 2nd handle on from previous busted lock
-manager writes down peoples credit card details on paper unsecurely leaving them risk to credit card fraud and abuse as well as u secure destruction
-venue looked like a trailer park trash drug dealer hotel (some scary customers staying there)
-2 single beds pushed together and not proper queen
-fridge very noisy
-wifi not working
-shower taps patched up with tape
-bed too short and legs hang over the end
-reception not even open in morning at 1030m

The room was quiet and we had a good night sleep. The location was quite convenient to get to and from, and parking was easy and good. The property itself was badly in need of renovation and updating. It started in reception with a grubby, dusty, dirty, unkept, rundown feel to it, and didn’t really improve. The room was quite disgusting and well below standard for the price. It was grubby and only barely cleanish. The walls were grubby. The bathroom was an unattractive DIY job. We were left with 1 toilet paper that was not even a new full roll. The cups and jug were dirty. The carpet was stained and dirty. The curtains were faded badly. The access was up external stairs at the rear of the building like service stairs. There was a 2seater couch that was dirty and had a cheap synthetic cover over it that was dirty and stained. Several light switches didn’t work. The phone in the room was disconnected. The property was unattended overnight with no way to contact anyone for anything like toilet paper. It really was well below standard for the price. I honestly wouldn’t pay more than $75 for it. We had to pay $275 as it was a long weekend and we couldn’t get anywhere else after we unexpectedly got stranded in Geelong. We just got back from India and had better rooms there!

We were refused entry to our room by a security guard as the hotel was under closure so we were unable to stay which on seeing it we were probably lucky but didn’t get a refund from them or wot if even though it was their fault. So don’t trust either company

Never stayed in any motel like this.Women at front desk was rude, pubic hair on shower floor, disgusting stains on mirror in bathroom, mouldy smell in room and someone was using our air con.unit outside our door as a clothesline, room was nothing like photos on website.Was that disgusting we returned key to key box and stayed somewhere else 3 hours after we booked in. 3.5 stars, you've got to be kidding. Also wasn’t impressed to see the owner standing outside my door at 9:50am waiting to pounce on 10am checkout. I couldn’t actually walk out the door until he stepped aside. This place is straight out of the 1950's. Tiny room, bed as hard as a rock, shower curtain type shower in an equally small bathroom, too small to dress in. No exhaust fan, winder mechanism to open the bathroom window was broken. Carpet was dirty and the room was musty. Furnishings look like they were picked up from hard waste.
AC was good and it was quiet (no road noise). Linen was clean & fresh. TV worked. One tiny UHT milk handed over at check in for 2 people to have a coffee.
Paid $205 for a night - ridiculous overcharge.

We found a syringe with a needle attached under the bed, about 30cm from the edge. It did have the cap still on it but not impressed.
Told the female owner/manager and she asked what we would like her to do. I asked for a refund on the room and she said no. She then accused me of putting the needle there so I could get a refund. I asked what she would do and she said that because nobody got hurt, there was nothing she would do. No apology was given and she was not concerned about me giving a review saying what had happened. She said that they are a budget motel and this is the clientele they normally get. I said that she should perhaps put that on their website or advise the booking companies so that people know they are likely to encounter syringes. She has banned me from staying there, as if I’d ever book there again!

The manager showed us 2 rooms to choose from. We picked the one at the back of the property. Parked ( free) our car right near our room. The room was quiet with nice bedding, good amenities. Great new heating/ cooling.

This motel is extremely old and run down. Whilst the bedding, sink, toilet and shower were obviously clean, the furnishings and carpet are so old and mismatched, they give the room an overall dirty appearance. The price for this motel was also extortionate. Although we stayed on a public holiday, when prices are often inflated, we paid $240 for a room for one night, that was honestly worth about $80.

The first room we were in had a water leak in the bathroom which spilled onto the carpet and valance of the bed. We changed rooms the carpets were stained and dirty the bathroom was tiny with no exhaust fans, tiles falling off, shower curtain needed replacing. Rooms were in bad need of renovations it was one of the worst motels I have ever seen. Over all the place was disgusting was very unhappy to stay there will never stay there again. Horrible motel nothing like it was advertised over the net. Would not recommend this horrible place to anyone. The place had a bad odour horrible place.

This motel was disappointing, it was old and in very poor condition. It needed a lot of updating and general maintenance. However, the bed was new and fairly comfortable but the room and bathroom was very small.
Reception was closed when we arrived and we had to go away and come back when it re-opened. Overall it was not a great experience.

This property was not as described. Restaurant not operational thus no breakfast as indicated. No hairdryer in room but was able to borrow off from Reception. Staff quite gruff, not really interested and not welcoming. Room had a musty, bad smell. Door to room had been forced open at some stage and damage to timber door not repaired. Whilst bed was not comfortable the linen and towels were crisp and clean. Very neglected and un loved property. Can only assume it’s changed hands since its listing was put online.. Property was chosen due to location so that was a positive. Overall, very disappointed. Would never recommend.

Very disappointed. First impression negative due to motel linen hung over balcony to dry the full length of balcony rail. Room smelt stale and there was no garden on the property and yet was featured on the web site. Ended up forfeiting our money and sought alternative accommodation.
