Vue Apartments is perfectly located on Trinity Beach without a doubt one of the best beaches in Cairns. Our three-bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean, very spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. Being on the same level as the pool was incredibly convenient, especially with young children.
The apartment offered both front and rear balconies, with beautiful views of the rainforest and the beach, The staff were attentive and quick to assist with any questions or minor issues, and having air conditioning in every room made the stay even more comfortable. From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home, I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. If we return to Cairns, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

Great location, amazing views of the ocean, just walk out the back gate and you’re on an amazing beach. Our apartment was spotless, well presented I can highly recommend staying at Vue Apartment’s I’ll definitely be back again.

Good stay

The apartment was amazing with great view from 5th floor. However, we been disappointed when we'd heard dog barking from one of appartments. The Vue resort does not allowed pets. When spoken with receptionist we been informed that owner of apartment is not restricted on having pets even if they bark.

Excellent property! Fantastic kid-friendly pool, great views, and right in the middle of the action at Trinity Beach. Other pros include a washer and dryer in the unit, a spacious balcony, and secured parking.

Cons: despite the luxurious property and (deservedly) high price, the amenities were a little cheap. Examples: only one roll of TP, one wash worth of laundry powder, no umbrella, one spare garbage bag, and few towels (surprising for a pool-centric accomodation). Also, the instructions were a bit threatening and in poor taste. You know the type: barking orders, such as doing the dishes and taking out the trash before checking out or facing fines. Telling you to go get your own stuff as the accomodation is only minimally restocked after a week. Just a little off-putting/cheap for an otherwise luxurious stay.

- I wasn't given the room view which was described in my booking. I was given full view of the infinity pool which I didn't pay for and wasn't interested in viewing. I had paid for ocean and mountain views !!!
- Couches were worn out.
- The lounge room blinds are see through at night, and because I didn't get the view I paid for I was facing the infinity pool. So no privacy if you sat in the lounge room at night.
- The stove doesn't boil water, it just warms it.
- The infinity pool was really good, I like it.

Spa is just bubbles and not hot.
Ensuite is frosted glass walls so turning a light on while someone is sleeping wakes them up.
If you are in a wheelchair or struggle with stairs the access to beach or shops would be near impossible.

The property looks quite good but is very loud. It’s certainly not five star as when you go to bed you can hear every movement from the apartment above, due to the build obviously not being very good quality and poor insulation. Views are nice but there’s no controls on people playing what is the music they want really loud during the day. Staff very friendly though.

Nice newer building directly on Trinity Beach. Lots of room but in the apartment, a fully equipped kitchen, and new air conditioning systems made our stay a pleasure. The large pool was a blast for our child, with its calm and stinger free waters. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful.

It is a bit pricier than neighbouring options, but we’ll worth it. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was, overall, very, very good. The only issue is that the gradient of the driveway is extremely steep. This is an issue if you don’t have a car, are elderly, incapacitated or, as in my case, very unfit. If the booking had been made directly with the property then this would have been made known. Through agencies it’s never mentioned for some reason.

The “penthouse”was nothing more than a 3 bedroom apartment. We were extremely disappointed especially for the money we paid. The lift was broken the entire time so going in and out of the unit was quite frustrating up and down 8 flights of stairs. As we walked into our unit we looked straight out to the ocean and down to the pool. Wow, what a view. Gorgeous unit, very clean, lovely comfortable beds. We had a problem with our fridge and the staff were very helpful. Air conditioning worked great as it was so hot outside. Also had ceiling fans throughout unit. The pantry had a few basic items which made it very convenient in the kitchen.

Loved the large verandah at the penthouse. Amazed at how clean everything was. Surprised at daily room service.
Will definitely recommend to anyone, and will hopefully be back sometime soon.

Safety issue: blow dryer in main bathroom does not switch off until you stop it with the power point switch. Exhaust Fan in main bathroom is not working at all and that bathroom has not got any ventilation. Drain waste in both shower and bathroom floor are tiled and sinking when walked on.

All in all we loved our stay but just wanted to bri g to light a few safety issues that need addressing rather urgently.
