Air conditioning does not work.
I stayed here for 2 nights in June. The room was stiflingly hot when I arrived, and although there was an air conditioning unit in the room, it was completely useless even when the thermostat was set to the lowest temperature and the fan set at the highest speed. The settings had been removed from the air conditioning unit itself, presumably to save on energy bills from people wanting a comfortable temperature in the room on summer nights. So I ended up having to open the window all the way and prop the door open for hours just to allow some cooler evening air in, to give me a chance of getting to sleep. In addition to the air conditioning not working, the vending machine also was out of order. In order to access the WiFi, I had to go to reception to have the receptionist validate my credentials on my phone. This is my first time ever having to do this at a hotel. Positives are that it is low cost and has flexible cancellation. Just as well, as I was booked in to stay at another Première Classe on my next stop, which I decided to cancel.

I booked a room. It was perhaps not really cozy, but clean and comfortable. As I was backpacking, th hotel was quite far away from the city center of Arles, but there were busses. And I also walked a lot.

Easy to find from main road otherwise follow signs through town. Check-in available 24 hours. Receptionist spoke English. Parking easy and used code for gate in evening. Room clean but bathroom smelt of cigarettes. Complained but assured that odour old. Bed comfortable. Bathroom small but functional. Didn't have breakfast at hotel but used McDonalds instead. Had a good nights sleep - little noise from road or neighbours in hotel. This is a cheap option but okay - busy and used by families as well as people passing through.

It was last minute and inexpensive. The beds were moderately comfortable and clean, but the location and other clientele made me nervous for our car in the parking lot. The room was tiny and the bathroom even more so, but it did the job for the night.

The room was compact and utilitarian to the extent of being cramped, but was quite adequate if one intended to be out all day. It benefited from a small modern en suite bathroom. A pleasant environment where one could have breakfast outside; the choice of breakfast food was good, though the orange juice was disappointing.
However visitors without a car should be warned that the thotel is some distance from the centre of the town and there are no buses after 7.00 p.m., so in comparing prices with hotels near the centre, 8-10 euros per day should be added for taxi fares (unless one likes very long walks).

Reasonable Value for Money
Our triple room was very compact, with a tiny bathroom, but all-in-all OK value for money. When you book budget hotels you expect things to be somewhat basic. We had stayed at a Premiere Classe hotel earlier in our trip which was less desirable, so we were pleasantly surprised with this one. Breakfast was adequate.

Cependant, ma compagne a été un peu surprise de se réveiller avec une fourmilière qui était rentrée dans la chambre et envahissait le lit... Les chambres sont très sales avec des petites bébêtes qui viennent nous ennuyer la nuit. De plus l hôtel indique la climatisation en effet les appareils sont dans la chambre mais ne fonctionne pas du tout. Pour les petits déjeuners le prix est exorbitant et pas du tout pareil que les photos qu ils nous montrent.

Réservation faite pour une chambre avec un grand lit, car dans le choix des options, soit trois lits ou deux lits ou un grand lit. Nous préférons un grand lit pour ne pas se cogner la tête avec celui superposé. Il nous est donné une chambre avec trois lits, bof, bof. L'hôtel est très vétuste et mal entretenu, cependant relativement propre. Loe monsieur à l'accueil fait son possible. Il serait bon de spécifier que les serviettes ne sont pas changées et que les chambre ne sont pas faites entre deux nuits.

Le personnel a l’écoute et très réactif par contre l’hôtel en lui même au secours … porte qui ne se ferme pas correctement, fenêtre qui ne peut pas s’ouvrir car coincée, chauffage posé à même le sol car décroché du mur de la rouille sur les parois de douche barrière du lit enfant cassée et tenue grâce a du scotch moustiques écrasés sur les murs et donc non nettoyés 2 serviettes à notre arrive dont une encore mouillée nous étions 3 donc obligé d’en demander des supplémentaires problème de robinetteries soit pas d’eau chaude soit de l’eau brûlante avec aucune pression vous relevez le pommeau de douche au dessus de votre tête et il n’y a plus que de l’eau froide en petit filet bref une nuit pour dépanner mais pas plus

Nous avons réservé deux chambres dans le 1ere classe d'Arles. Scandaleux ! Chambres plus que vétustes, peintures crasseuses, luminaires avec ampoules manquantes, tablette poisseuse, radiateur électrique d'un autre temps totalement rouillé, entourage de prises murales absent, coin douche vétuste et sale, distributeur savon cassé, cuvette WC suspendu branlant, rideau douche noir, tringle rideau crasseuse, pas d'eau froide, juste eau bouillante !!!

Impossible de payer le séjour par carte bancaire le terminal de paiement étant HS..
Impossible également de payer à la borne extérieure et du coup avons dû trouver un distributeur de billets pour pouvoir payer en espèces !!!

La première nuit: arrêt de la musique techno à 22h. La seconde nuit beaucoup plus amusante!!!!!!!! La Techno s'est arrêtée à 0h58. Ca résonne encore dans la tête.....Petite doléance émise auprès de la direction le lendemain qui,pour réponse, a dit que c'était le restaurant d'à côté ( à 10 mètres environ) et qu'il DEVAIT avoir l'autorisation. De plus, les gérants ont répondu que ce n'était pas un problème pour eux car les travailleurs réservaient à partir du lundi et ce, pour la semaine. Les clients du week-end ne sont pas des habitués!!!!!!!!

La chambre sentais le tabac froid, il y avait encore des cheveux dans la douche et nous n'avions pas de serviettes. Je suis allé à la réception et la jeune femme m'a proposé de changer de chambre. Cette fois ménage fait, serviettes et pas d'odeur, mais l'hôtel est très vétuste, il est resté dans son jus; le lendemain matin, il a fallu soulever une dizaines de tasses pour en trouver une qui n'ait pas de résidus de café et autres..!!!??... pas ragoutant du tout, heureusement qu'il y avait du pain frais. nous avons quand même payer la chambre 55€ : trop cher pour ce genre de prestations. Même le parking n'était pas fermé la nuit ( portail défectueux)

Je compare ce séjour, a posteriori, avec celui de F1 de Nimes ouest : 1ère Classe a « la classe » ! Un bémol sur le confort dû à l’exiguïté, relative, de la cabine de douche. Mais pensant aux « capsules » japonaises, j’étais très bien !

Très déçu par cet hôtel. Le problème est qu'il n'y a personne pour faire taire les clients qui parlent à l'extérieur en fumant leur joint. J'ai pu demander à ces personnes de faire le nécessaire afin de ne pas causer de trouble, ils ont été particulièrement coopératif. Ou le voisin qui passe sa soirée et sa nuit au téléphone sans prendre en compte qu'il y a des voisins. Pas de gobelet, radiateur non fonctionnel et rouillé, pas de rideau de douche, plafond taché.

Hôtel miteux! Nous sommes arrivés et notre chambre n’avait pas été nettoyé. La réceptionniste, gênée, nous dit qu’elle n’a pas d’autres chambres à nous proposer car l’hôtel est complet. Elle trouve une solution et nous propose la chambre des employés qui sont d’astreintes. On accepte car sinon on se retrouve sans rien. Dans cette chambre on y retrouve un nid de fourmis juste à côté du lit, des toiles d’araignées au plafond (sympa pour celui qui dort sur le lit du haut), les draps remplis de taches et de sable (d’où vient-il?), pas de papiers toilettes, toilettes et douche sale. Je remercie cependant la réceptionniste qui nous a offert le petit dej au vu de la situation.
