The room was nice. The first person that greeted us should not be at the front desk: very unfriendly, rude; not a good representative of the property. The second person that greeted us in mid afternoon was very pleasant and accommodating.
The hotel is close enough to walj into town. We did not partake of bfast as we thought it expensive.

Nice hotel a short walk from the old town. Great pool, a welcome retreat during the heatwave we experienced. Breakfast options were nothing outstanding, basic buffet fare. No food apart from cheese or charcuterie plate offered at other times. Bar staff were friendly and accommodating. Checkin staff could be more welcoming and friendly, we felt awkward each time we needed to interact with them.

Fabulous 4 Star hotel

Our 3 night stay at Arles Plaza was fantastic. The family room was a lovely size for 2 adults. The bed was comfortable, the a/c was quiet and a pleasant temperature. The room was cleaned and tidied everyday and coffee pods replenished. The mini fridge was useful. There were free drinking water fountains dotted around aswell as glass and plastic recyling points.The pool was divine with always enough loungers and space to swim. The reception staff were polite and professional. The atmosphere was calm and tranquil. There were free retro computer games and a pool table. The location was perfect for drives out to the ornithological park and other areas of the Camargue. Also it was 7-10min walk to the old town/amphitheatre in Arles.

This was a fantastic location for Arles and easy walking to the town. Great parking too. Our room was good. We didn’t use the pool as we didn’t have time but it looked lovely. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but we were able to get what we needed. I’d recommend based on price and location.

We stayed overnight at the Hotel Arles Plaza. The room was ok. We appreciated the parking and location, it’s very close to the city center and perfect to discover it.
Just make sure you don’t forget anything in the room. I accidentally left a fairly new silk nightgown in the room and realised immediately the evening after we left the hotel. Despite contacting the hotel and even driving back a few days later, I was told it was not found…

The staff was pleasant and well informed about the local attractions.The room was as-advertised however there was an interruption of a couple of hours while repairs were made to the hot water heater. Also the hotel should not be able to claim a lounge on-site if it only has beer and liquor but cannot mix a cocktail! The property was located about 20 min walk through a run-down area from the old city. There we had the finest meal at Constantin Restaurant. I highly recommend it.

A clean and modern hotel with excellent location to Arles. Perhaps not walkable to the town, but close enough for quick access. Property feels safe and secure with a gated parking lot access. The room provides basic overnight amenities for an adequate stay. Complaint is related to the lack of ventilation in the room. The toilet room has no vent fan, nor does the shower room. So if sharing the room with others, the smell and steam makes for an uncomfortable in-room environment. While there is a thermostat in the room, the fan power and speed seems to be centrally located and would not turn on via the wall controls. The lack of air movement throughout the night makes for stale, humid air. The humidity is so bad that water droplets collected on the window and puddled on the window sill.

This was a basic hotel. It was clean but there was no dining, no option for inclusive breakfast. The bar wasn’t always open and you had to find someone to get you a drink. The pool is not as big as it looks in the photographs and was under cover. It’s a good 3 star property. The four stars it claims seem a bit of stretch given the facilities at the hotel.

I needed to do some laundry but the receptionist kept postponing it (we arrived before the check in time and I tried later that night) as she didn’t want to take responsibility for it but we only had two days so by the time the room cleaner came to the bedroom they could no longer guarantee delivery. There was only a small bottle of water for 3 people in the room and when we came back from dinner they suggested to try the vending machine, which was empty. The cleaner didn’t wash the tea cups and left stains on the table, nothing terrible but definitely not the best customer service I experienced for a 4 star hotel

Hotel Arles canceled our reservation two days before we arrived. They offered another hotel which we accepted, but we could not get confirmation that we actually had a place to stay until one day before we arrived. We were on a river boat cruise when this happened, and it was more than inconvenient to try to obtain the confirmation. I would never book this hotel again due to bumping a reservation at the last minute.

Smooth and efficient checkin. Rooms was big and comfortable beds. Hotel pool was a nice benefit after a hot day of sightseeing around Arles.
Was a quick stop over on our journey to St tropez after the Camargue. Make sure u carry mosquito spray when in the city as it’s quite a problem nowadays.
Hotel itself was not a problem.
Easy to get to all the sites within 15 min walk. Would recommend the hotel if your visiting the area.

Quirky-fun art work, spacious room & bathroom, nice breakfast & pool area. Easy walk to the sites. Parking available. Can be a bit tricky to find the street into the parking, and tricky to get out because of a sharp turn @ the intersection. Overall very nice. The one BIG problem: the air conditioning. It kept shutting off as if on a timer. We asked the 2nd morning and we’re told it was set and to not touch it. The next day we asked again why it wasn’t working and were told they were sending a person to fix it. That never happened.

Perfect for overnight stop in Arles. 15 minutes walk to centre. The family room was very spacious for a family of 4. Would definitely stay again. One word of warning to drivers, beware of very uneven road surface as you pull up to hotel car park barrier on right hand side. There are two very large mounds in the road which can easily damage your car underneath.

Our experience with the staff was wonderful, they were friendly and helpful. The hotel bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The price was great and the hotel had parking which was awesome! Although the hotel was nice on the inside and we did not use the pool or pool area but it looked really nice! I was a little taken aback by the outside appearance and the location. We were there more towards the off season so maybe more stores were closed and less people around in general but the walk from the hotel to town (not a long walk to town) was different than what I would have thought regarding area. We had no problems.

We only stayed one night at the hotel but I wanted to express our satisfaction. Before we arrived, we wanted to make a dinner reservation in a highly popular local restaurant in Arles. We don't speak French so I sent a message via Expedia to the hotel asking for help. Not only they made the reservation for us, they called several times, according to the restaurant owner, to make sure that we get a table. That is what a great service is!! Great hotel!

Interesting lobby with modern design and art work. Room had no window to the outside and the temperature of the air ventilation system for the room was not controlled individually. If you wanted to have it warmer, you had to switch of the entire system. The supply of fresh air was then stopped, too.

Loved this hotel! The decor is fun and chic, the service is great and it's a short walk to the center of town. We only stayed one night and wished it could've been longer. The only thing that could have served us better would be more options for food after 9 pm than vending machines - even just some sandwiches or light snacks would have been nice.

The temperature if the ac is controlled centrally. It was very hot outside and the room was really hot. The interior of the hotel, the rooms and the pool are really nice. The outside needs a coat of paint and located on a shaddy street. I would recommend it if sleeping in a cool room is not that important to you or if the western is not too warm.

A nice place to stay in Arles

A modern hotel, with no old world charm, but air conditioned and with parking and a pool. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Be aware that it is around 15 minute walk to the old city, and there are no restaurants or stores in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

The hotel is a ten minute stroll to the centre of Arles.

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and were impressed with the level of housekeeping that meant the rooms were always clean and comfortable.

Buffet breakfast was a good addition and having the swimming pool really topped off the relaxed and enjoyable stay at the hotel.

We missed the place when we moved onto the next hotel of our trip as we really enjoyed our stay here.

Arles, Provence and the Hotel Arles Plaza are spectacular. The hotel provided a spacious and clean room, a great breakfast and extremely helpful staff (front desk, cleaning and breakfast). We stayed at the Arles Plaza six nights and found ample parking for our car every night. Though we did not use them, the hotel has beautiful covered pool and children play areas.

City centre hotel in Arles.

Typical modern hotel. Finding first time was a little difficult as it is on a feeder road next a main road. Getting out in the mornings was challenging.Room was fine. Parking good and secure. Breakfast was 5€ express or €11 full. We did the express and it seemed as good as the full one. Bar wasn't open when we stayed for 2 nights but we were able to borrow glasses and have drinks in our room. Our room was conventional but there were a few nods to Hollywood around the hotel. A full size Captain American in the reception area etc.

The front desk staff were incredible. We had made a mistake with our booking and they corrected our mistake without any additional charge They were so pleasant and accommodating. The room was small but very pleasant. The atmosphere in the hotel lobby was vibrant. it was a short and easy walk to downtown. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is right off the freeway and could be closer to the main town; however, it was not a far walk (maybe 10 minutes?). This hotel fits the artsy town. We did the Monet walking tour we found in one of our travel books and it was just a short walk to the beginning. The hotel itself was very clean and everything you'd expect.

We got a room for 4, and it was great. It was 2 stories, connected by a wooden stairway - very unusual and pretty. There were two complete bedrooms upstairs and a small alcove area downstairs, also with a bed and it's own toilet. The room overlooked the pool and looked out over the old town - great view! It was a 10-minute walk to get into the old town, which was very convenient. And free parking, too. And a pool! It was also easy to find the hotel. This hotel is a great value, great location, and comfortable for 4 travelers.

The lobby in this place is really nice and we were pleasantly surprised by the entertainment rooms and pool area- in the Summer I'm sure this is a great place to hang out or send kiddos :) The parking is really easy and convenient. The rooms are HUGE and very bright and updated. The bathroom is in serious need of a remodel- the shower head needs a holder so you aren't a slave to holding it the whole time you shower. There is also no outlet in the bathroom or mirror in the room to do your hair/makeup. The front desk were VERY helpful and friendly. We walked into Arles on several occasions and it was less than 10 minutes. We would definitely recommend this place!

Narrow entrance road, then stopped at gate. Had to leave car, go to desk, confirm reservation, be given the gate code, and return to car. The room was smallish but clean and comfortable. Elevator was a plus. Restaurant open only to groups. Breakfast not included. A decent enough place, and attractive inside, but not as easy to use as expected.

We loved this room. Our two nieces were with us. We booked a family room. There were two double beds and a twin in a two-story room. There were two separate toilets and a bathtub. Ample room for everybody! Old City views and a great pool, with a retractable roof. The location was close to the city center, may be 8 to 10 minutes to the amphitheater. Free and ample parking spaces. It was quiet. Good A/C, but ability to open the windows.

A few minor improvements could make it great

When you walk into the lobby of the Hotel Arles Plaza, you would think you are in a 5 star hotel. Large open lobby that leads to restaurant area and large indoor/ outdoor room next to the pool. Parking was convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent and reasonable. The walk to town center is less than ten minutes or you can take a taxi for 6 euros. The room can be improved by putting up a hook in the wall for the shower hose, better wifi that doesn't keep cutting out and a better hair dryer. Overall, it is a very good value.

May have been nice hotel when things worked, once upon a time. Bar always closed because \"it is not staffed\". Glow in the dark breakfast hot dog and pretty bad scrambled eggs. Cheese in a plastic wrapping had melted over and over. Hot tub broken, not one working urinal out of six that worked (had masking tape across urinals) and bathroom smelled so horribly as to not be able to enter. Apparently disgruntled staff at front desk only available when not outside front doors having a smoke. Room dirty to the point of unhealthy. Water accidentally flowed on shower hose and soot and dirt starting coming off it....stay away!

The Hotel Arles Plaza was a very nice surprise. It is located just a few minutes walk from the old part of town with the Roman ruins and twisting and winding streets. But what we really liked about the hotel was the arty décor. The lobby was slick and modern with many interesting and whimsical pieces. Our room was small, but clean and modern. The one thing the hotel did not have was any English speaking TV stations, Although the card in the room which listed all the channels said the hotel had CNN and CNBC, neither were available.

Staff was helpful and the room was fairly large for a family of four. A bit of a walk to the historical center but nothing overwhelming. Overall, a good value for the price.

Close to Avignon center. About a 5 min walk to center area. But hotel is a bit cheap with their energy saving tactics.. Hallways are dark and light comes on as you walk by like a motion detector and turns back off quickly. Elevator is almost pitch dark. We got a room at the end if the hotel and because they have these extra long hallways, if was pretty inconvenient to walk to lobby.. About a 3 min walk inside the hallway.. if you have a car, you'll be circling the block a few times before you figure out that you have to go around the block to underground parking and lug your luggage all the way back to lobby. Signs to parking area isn't clear and because hotel on main street, you can't drive up and drop luggage .. Very inconvenient! Oh and the hotel front desk employee disappears after 11pm and locks lobby so if you are out late, you have to call him on his cell phone so he can come back and let you in and because we were from U.S. , our cell phones weren't setup for Europe so we had to wait around until he came back and let us in!! I wouldn't stay here again just because of all these minor nuisances even tho rooms were nice and clean. Also no gym here

Convenience and friendly staff

Other than the trouble we had finding the hotel ( it had undergone a name change two days before we arrived and there were few new signs) it was just fine for a 3star hotel; The young woman who single handedly took care of the large dining room and lots of guests was a marvel..we only wish she had a helper! The hotel is a few blocks from the center of town and thus off the beaten track. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel in its new incarnation.

Don't get fooled by the outside look - not worthy of your money

Hotel is way overpriced for its quality. They are basically charging you for the fake grand look of the lobby, everything in the room is of low quality. Everything about the room was old, broken, dirty and dusty. We had asked them to fix the shower doors but our request was ignored and never got addressed. Noisy hallway in the morning and you can hear when your neighbors are up and when the maids are walking around because there was absolutely no sound proof, which makes it extremely uncomfortable if you want to sleep in a little later. Will not recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable stay.

decent hotel for the money

very hard hotel to find unless you know the name \"NEW
HOTEL\" is written on the top wall of the building. The street name does not help and the words \"ARLES CAMARGUE\" show up only on a small sign you will see only after you find the hotel. The covered outdoor areas were closed when we were there but overall it was modern and well done. The wifi only works in the lobby and it not included in the rent. The breakfast was nice but also was not included. You need to walk at least 3 tp 4 blocks for anything you might need. Driving around town is out of the question. Very narrow streets and very little parking.

so so...

Very conveniently located to visit Arles. Staffs spoke English and were very helpful. The Hotel had been recently refurbished but not all of the rooms were (we were given one of the not yet refurbished one....it was a little smelly and the bath tub was not really....clean). Overall, I would stay again but would absolutely reccomend to book the more expensive rooms.

Good base to explore from

A little out from the main area - extra 5 mins walk - but very convenient access from main road for drivers and good parking. Quiet hotel, very clean, relaxed and with nice swim pool. Room (we had a family room) excellent, with separate room for adult to kids and quiet. Only gripe was breakfast - continental style with some hot food (sausage & scrambled egg) but not huge selection and slow service / attention from the staff in replenishing plates, glasses, cutlery, milk etc. All other service great and efficient. Certainly good value for a family room.
