The room was clean, a good size, had a fridge and a nice balcony. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and only a 20 minute walk into Arles. The pool and property grounds are very well kept- although weather wasn't good enough for us to enjoy the pool.

This hotel is not a 4 star. It is very dated. The walls are paper thin and we heard our loud neighbors all night and early morning. As well at 8 a.m. there was a grader outside our door. Pool undergoing renovations so not very nice to look at.

Amazing staff and a very nice hotel

a very nice hotel with exterior corridors, but safe and secure; the food is very good, with a cook-to-order breakfast buffet, which is worth 14 euro if you are a big breakfast person; please note the dinner options are cooked off-site, but very good; the staff is absolutely wonderful and go out of their way to accommodate and assist you in any way, especially Ludovic, who is a real gem. i would definitely stay here again when in the Arles area. they also have 2 outlets for free electric car charging.

Séjour très agréable. Un petit bémol sur la piscine. Les marches sont très glissantes et il n'y a pas de douche pour se rincer. Le personnel est très aimable. En cette période de crise, i' faut vérifier les petits déjeuners qui sont parfois incomplets mais complètés des qu'on le signale.

Terribly disappointing.

This is NOT a four-star hotel. It is extremely dated. Apart from that, the front desk emplyees charge you for everything, even if you think it is a complimentary coffee to go that you ask them for at night, after you got cought in the rain. They will make sure to write it down and charge you for it at the end of your stay, even if they did not inform you that that would carry a cost. Also, after a certain time in the evening, they close the hall/feont desk area and no employee is available until the next morning. That is, again, not indicative of a four-star hotel, but perhaps a cheap side road motel.

Perfectly decent hotel about 20-25 mins walk from the centre. The hotel itself is in an uninspiring part of town, but it does have a swimming pool set in a large lawn and garden, and free parking.

The room with air conditioning, the hotel, the buffet breakfast, the dinners were all excellent. The staff is simply wonderful. To top it all off, when I left town after leaving my credit card in a shop, they went to the shop, retrieved my card,and mailed it to my next destination!

Nice hotel, great staff, area not so brilliant

This was a nice, relaxing budget hotel. Good rooms, comfortable, clean, basic but well appointed. Nice gardens & pool area, all well maintained.
Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Within 1 mile walk of the Amphitheatre, but the area to walk through is not so good - I certainly would be careful walking if I were on my own into town, especially at night. The hotel was, however, well screened - secluded with exceptionally secure parking. However, it would have been good if they could have run their shuttle bus into the town in the evening - maybe one set dropoff & pickup time - to avoid walking through the area to get into town. It didn't feel safe, and I would be worried if I were a lone female or disabled.

Great service and hotel in terms of pool, room size and staff. Location not the best, not ideal for walking to and from the city centre at night. So paying the 25 Euro taxi fees is ridiculous,....better put the 25€ towards a hotel within the city centre walls.

Clean comfortable secure hotel close to old city only a few minutes drive. Laundry two streets away so very handy. Breakfast average.... not bad just not great. Bad sausages, average bacon and scrambled eggs. Coffee from machine was average. Nice staff that were very helpful. Would stay again.

I liked my sunny balcony, heating on tap and all request complied with - adapter, mosquito plug,- armchair etc. Would only add - a bath mat (anti-slip) and a bedside rug would be a great improvement! (Cold floor)

The hotel was nothing to get excited about. Looked and felt like a Motel Eight. No access to any public transportation, though it was only a mile away from the city center. The rooms and restrooms were dated. I spent 20 Eur on traveling from there and back to it everyday.

A pleasant stay

This is a nice 4 star hotel, but should be classified at the bottom level of 4 star hotels. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. However, they are pretty old fashioned and simple.

The location is withing a 5 minutes drive from the town's center, but is probably too far away and too boring for a walk.

All in all, we had a pleasant stay. No more than that.

Pleasant hotel with great swimming pool

The swimming pool was the wow factor for me: because Arles is far from a beach, it was great to see all the cultural sights in the town and then end the day in O.k., the hotel was rather out of town, so if, like us, you're reasonably fit, it tathe lovely clean hotel pool. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities, including the little garden terrace with table and chairs, outside our patio doors, leading to the lawned area and the swimming pool. kes about 20 minutes to walk to the centre but as we had hired a car to get to Arles, we welcomed the free on-site parking at the hotel. The check out time - of 10.00 a.m. - we thought was rather too early - after all, we were our holiday! Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

Got to the hotel about 9:30 and the gate was closed and could not get in even though someone answered the intercom. Seemed to be very bad neighborhood and had to drive away and find something else. Terrible experience.

Well run hotel with decent facilities

This is a clean, efficient hotel. The owners are much in evidence and take pride in their establishment; they are very pleasant. As a place to explore is part of France if you are driving, this is good with its air conditioned accommodation. If, like us, you want a place for the Recontres Arles Festival, this is a bit far away - 20 minutes from the old town - meaning that you don't feel like you can nip back to the hotel and come out again (maybe I'm a bit lazy but, 35 Celsius heat!). We spent the whole day in the centre but this is an issue. For the the festival, book earlier and go for a more central hotel. It's a bit pricey (no breakfast!) but we got a decent shuttle deal for the return to Nimes airport (40 Euro as opposed to 50 for the cab to the hotel).

The cleanliness and comfort are excellent. We didn't use the pool though it looked inviting. All in all I recommend the hotel but next time, I will book earlier and get a hotel in the old town.

A well run, friendly hotel.

A very comfortable hotel close to the centre of Arles. The proprietors were very friendly and cooperative and spoke excellent english. We extended our stay at short notice and they were very helpful - even moving our luggage as we had to change rooms. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Should have done more Hotel research.....

Cannot understand how French Hotels acquire their Star rating. In the UK this hotel would struggle to attain a 2 star rating. No restaurant, no bar, over bath shower positioned at 1 metre(OK for very small people or children) Cold cooked breakfast, low water pressure on one day meaning a real struggle to shower or wash or even get a cup of coffee from the automatic machine that went wrong.Very strong smell of either sewers or chicken farm when the wind was blowing the wrong way, 20 minutes walk through a very seedy district to nearest restaurant or place of interest.Missing towel rail, only french speaking TV channels available on our visit. We should have researched the hotels available as in Avignon where we stayed in a real 4 star hotel the Novotel with no complaints whatever.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Arles. It's a motel style hotel with rooms opening directly to the outside. You can park right outside your room. Very nice hotel staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent individually cooked breakfast included in price.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff made us feel very welcome and provided us with good information about restaurants. Both were great. This is like a motel, outside of the city, but within a five minute drive with free parking at the city gates. Breakfast was very good. We didn;t use the pool, but it looked very nice.

Unappealing place on the outskirts of Arles

The hotel is located in a residential area 15 minutes walk from the centre of Arles. The building is in poor state of repair and has a feel of a run down council estate with no lifts. The rooms are spacious and there is a dated air conditioning system. The room furniture is very basic and there are plastic cover underneath the bed linen which are unpleasant to sleep on. There is a free wi-fi which is very difficult to log in. There were frequent losses of connection which made it impossible to use it.
The breakfast is served at the reception with basic, very limited choice of food at €11 per person so we decided to eat elsewhere.
I am perplexed by the four star rating awarded to this place which feels mote like a two star establishment. The prices are also unreasonably high and you should be able to find much nicer place for similar price.

Friendly, attractive hotel.

The hotel is located a little over a mile from the old city. The hotel and especially the grounds are attractive; however, there is no elevator. There are, however, some rooms on the ground floor -- a necessity for us because of luggage proportional to our extended trip. Staff are really friendly and made us feel welcome. There is a bakery a block from the hotel, a good choice for breakfast. Hotel recommendations for restaurants in city were excellent. Rooms are attractive and nicely sized.

We stayed at \"Le Rodin\" for 2 days.
The staff there were very nice: we arrived late and were warmly welcomed, then when we left we forgot some stuff in the room and they kept it for few days for us.
The location is fine as long as you have a car. Without a car, I would not recommend.

L’hôtel est très bien mais par contre le cotée vip access était inexistant.
Nous avons payer en plus du prix de l’hébergement 15€ par jour pour le chien et 15€ par jour pour le parking. Je trouve ceci hors de prix. Sinon le personnel très gentil et la piscine est un vraie plus.

Hôtel au charme désuet à l’image de la ville d’Arles. Tranquille, parking fermé 10€, wifi ok.
Hôtel propre, grande chambre avec petit balcon donnant sur une superbe piscine. La chambre est spacieuse avec grand lit mais avec matelas à mémoire de forme (il faut aimer). Petit minibar vide, une simple bouteille d eau offerte aurait été appréciée. Bouilloire avec kfe, thé et 2 spéculos . Pas d’autres produits de courtoisie. L’écran Tv est assez petit pour un 3 étoiles, et plusieurs chaînes ne fonctionnent pas (incident temporaire sans doute). La chambre était glacée à mon arrivée, mais la Clim réversible fonctionne et a remonté la température. La sdb carrelée est assez grande mais sans le moindre chauffage d’appoint, frisquet le matin,,, la douche est ok.
Bref c’est un hôtel qui doit être sans doute agréable en été. Hors saison, pour 1 nuit pas plus.

Good in general, I am giving only 3 stars because I would expect more from a 4-star hotel, anyway the price of my stay was not expensive. The room I was given needed a bit of renovation (electric plugs etc.). I was there in winter, probably in summer with garden, pool etc. the hotel is much more enjoyable. Breakfast was good.

Adresse que je ne retiendrai pas forcément...

Hôtel tout à fait correcte mais qui reste pour moi trop cher pour les prestations fournies.
La personne à l'accueil me tutoie et me demande de patienter, elle a fini son service et ne veut pas me donner ma clé(ça manque de professionnalisme !)
Chambre très mal insonorisée ! Climatisation qui fait un bruit pas possible et comme la chambre n'était pas chauffée du tout à mon arrivée, j'ai du la laisser toute la nuit !
Pas de chauffage dans la salle de bains, il ne faut pas être frileux ou fatigué !
Le porte de la chambre ferme mal, je dois systématiquement m'y reprendre en plusieurs fois afin qu'elle se verrouille....
Parking payant, c'est bien dommage en étant si loin du centre ville !

Das Hotel ist ca. 10-15 Minuten Fußweg von der Altstadt entfernt. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und das Hotel war sehr angenehm. Man kann sich dort Fahrräder ausleihen und die Umgebung erkunden. Ca. 5 Minuten Fahrtweg entfernt gibt es eine moderne Shopping Passage.
