Very conveniently located inside the gates of the old city of Arles. This hotel appears to have been recently renovated. Room was small but cleverly equipped to accommodate 2 people with luggage. It was an easy walk to everything within the city walls as well as to the river and the train station

Location is excellent. Parking is limited. Must request in advance. The room had a fridge and a safe but no coffee/tea. And the paid coffee machine in the lobby was broken. Got coffee espresso only in the nearby bar. Lots of food choices including a supermarket across the street. Roman antiquities close by. Staff excellent.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Brit Hotel Acacias. The staff, check-in, and room were all terrific. Parking was easy, and the hotel is the first building you come to when you walk through the old city walls. Best part of all - they have a decent size elevator! Most of the boutique hotels do not have elevators. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was a pleasant, well run establishment. Like many hotels in Europe the room was small and had very few electrical outlets, and virtually no counter space in the bathroom, a problem for appliance totting Americans. Orherwise an enjoyable stay.

Lovely Hotel with Warm Atmosphere
We recently stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location on a beautiful square which is away from the busiest part of the town but still convenient. Breakfast had plenty of variety and everything about this hotel feels like great care is taken to welcome guests. The rooms are quite small, that is not unusual in France.

The staff was friendly--- The hotel is very clean. But our room was not what we expected---way too small...the photos were not accurate. The mattresses were hard- we got backaches. And there was no one to help at night. We were assured help with our luggage when I called, we are both senior citizens and coming and going there was no one to give us a hand. The lady at the front desk was half my size----We had 5 heavy suitcases and and my 73 year old husband lugged them all back and forth! that should not happen in a hotel... that is not good! We are on an extended tour over several months, into different climate zones---and when I called a day ahead we were not given the private parking we had requested at the booking. So we felt uncomfortable leaving our suitcases inside the car in a public unsupervised parking.... if two small people travel with one small bag this hotel is convenient. if you come from across an ocean and are tall... and need more room---not the best fit.

A walk into history
The hotel is just at the entrance to the old city from the Gare du Arles less than a 10 minute walk with luggage. It offers a nice breakfast buffet, I took the cheaper option, coffee, juice and various breads and jam. It is at the base of the hill that leads up to the Amphitheatre and other sites. There are several restaurants within a short walk. You can also take a nice walk along the Rhone for a scenic reflex of the day.

The property is conveniently located, virtually the first thing you will see after passing through the old city walls. The staff is helpful, pleasant and multi-lingual. We had a junior suite, which was very comfortable and spacious. The weather was quite warm during our stay, but the AC in the room did a good job of making the room comfy. The one thing I missed was a coffee maker, but the hotel does provide instant coffee and tea, along with a kettle. They also have a nice buffet breakfast (though one could find cafes offering petit dejeuner very near by).

Well placed comfortable hotel
Nice friendly hotel, about a 10minute walk from the railway station to just inside the city wall. Space for parking outside the wall and a Monoprix just the opposite side of the roundabout. Room was clean and comfortable, couldn't get the A/C to work, but didn't really need either. There is a small fridge for cooling drinks. Reception sells anti-mosquito spray which you should either buy, or bring some with you. Arles is a safe pleasant place, plenty to see, especially the photographic exhibition, although the quality varies from year to year. Hotel offers two kinds of breakfast an express service for 7.50 euros and a buffet for 15.00 euros. I couldn't get a receipt having paid, apparently I have to right to Hotels.com to get a receipt. Staff friendly and helpful. Just note that on Sunday a lot of places close after noon.

Terrific location, close to the railway station, though I did not find it immediately. It is immediated behind Arles (gates), two round edifices. Perfect for 3 nights. Ample breakfast should you go for the full combo. I had the Express. Great artisanal bread, and croissant and high quslity preserves. Good coffee too.

The hotel location was great, just inside the old city walls so it was easy to get parking only a short distance away. Nice hotel with helpful staff but the rooms are tiny. Good express or buffet breakfast and good building security. Unfortunately, there is dog poop everywhere because apparently it is beneath the people of Arles to clean up after their animals. Not the hotel's fault....but dogs allowed to defecate in front of people dining in cafes while the owners are oblivious to this absolute lack of regard for others.

We booked the balcony room and were forrtunate to have nice spring weather so we spent quite a bit of time on the huge balcony watching life in Arles. Breakfast was a good value at 9 euros. Enclosed privae parking at 10 euros was very convenient but free parking is nearby. The room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay here again.

Restaurants in the same block. 3 blocks to the train station where there is a hop on/off free Tour Bus A that takes you around the outside of the old city. I'd happily stay here again.

This hotel is right outside the walls of the Cite. It looks like there are enough parking spaces for each room to have one. Our room was small but clean, except for the carpet, and the bathroom was recently updated. I personally think that a 3 star hotel should have glass drinking glasses but probably not significant problem given the good price.

They put a portable handicapped bar in shower (spent one minute on it), it fell off wall during the night. I had not used it thankfully. He did reattach it but I didn't trust it. We had to pay 5 euros more for this room which was so small, one little hard chair, could only get out of bed on one side. No reasons open on Sunday night that were near our hotel. All required taxi, long walk. Hard to follow city map given out in hotels and TI.

Newly refurbished hotel in a great walkable location. Getting there was a bit of a problem for us. The navigation system in our car took us to the entrance to an alley that apparently led to a parking area. We could not figure out how to get in due to our inadequate French. An hour later, after a trip to Tourist Information, parking in a grocery store parking lot, and pulling our luggage for three blocks, we were able to check in. Once we were settled, we had a wonderful time.

This is an excellent little hotel in a great location close to the monuments , cafes of Arles. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful including lending us an umbrella when there was some rain. We are returning in June with family members.

We had a very good 2 days in Arles. The hotel is in a great location and looked to be recently renovated/redecorated and was very clean and attractive inside. Service was good. The room was comfortable and clean. The city was great to wander for a day, following the Van Gogh walking tour. We found free parking just a short walk away.

We really liked the location of this hotel. It was just inside the walls of the old city of Arles. The staff were extremely helpful. When we
arrived during a heavy rainstorm they urged us to leave the car out front and they would watch it for us. They explained the parking and told us about restaurants. They do close in the winter. Rooms were basic and very clean. We found the smell of cleaning products a bit strong. Breakfast was adequate at 7 euros Per Person.

Two star hotel with a four star heart
Two star hotel with a four star heart! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. From our room we could look out on the old city wall as well as well as catch a glimpse of the Rhone river close to the spot where Van Gogh stood as he painted Starry Night over the Rhone. Free parking nearby is often easy to secure. Two bar/restaurants across the street were fantastic. One has an amazing 6 cheese plate and the other Has bruschetta with 10 different amazing toppings. High quality beer and wine also available there. If you go, be sure to say \"Hi\" to Indy the cute little dog that wanders around from bar to bar. The location of the hotel is very convenient for trekking around to various Van Gogh sites. Great value and highly recommended.

Next to the bus and train station. The bus system allows you to go around Provence easily and cheaply. I got to Saintes-Maries for 1 euro.

We enjoyed our stay at Acacias very much. The room was comfortable but slightly cramped for space due to the generous sized bed. We were a bit worried by the distance from our room to the nearest fire escape.
We chose to have breakfast at nearby cafes and we received very good advice at the reception desk about recommended restaurants for our evening meals and how to find our way about town. It was very convenient to be so near to the Centre Ville but at the same time we did not feel the town was overwhelmed by tourists. It has a delightful, authentic French character.
