The on-site amenities and service from the staff was beyond “Excellent”, exceeding my expectations and to date is the best experience I’ve had at any hotel. The food was presented beautifully every meal and the drinks were artisan in presentation as well. I can’t say enough about the quality of this experience and I will definitely stay at the Azzurro on my next visit to the area. Highly recommend to anyone!

The hotel is newly renovated. Though not yet totally finished with its current structure, you can already see the beauty of the place. Its location is very accessible to public transport, restaurants and other establishments.

Good location. Close to some restaurants and other establishments. Good view of Mt. Arayat. Staffs are accommodating, althoughthey forget some details sometimes. There's just a problem with the lift. The noise is being heard also in the room because of the ongoing hotel renovation plus the nightlife noise on the street. But overall it's ok.

The shower drain was clogged shut with little to no hot water and the entire floor felt like a sauna, with a hallway temperature exceeding the outside temperature and humidity by a wide margin. The place was under renovation which was never made mention of during the process. The staff was nice, but I basically wasted a restless night because they lied by omission to keep their booking. Travelocity also made no mention of this.

1st class bed, parking, check-in, Poor-class bar

First I'll come back as I LOVE underground safe parking, dark out room curtains, and nice comfy King size bed!! HUGE plus. Check in and room service were GREAT, as was bathroom amenities, plus coffee in the room. MANY GOOD THINGS. But we travelers need to stay honest so my negatives were three; 1) Closet safe's STILL do not function (I've 8 visits) 2) AVOID the 8th floor as 9th floor is the 9 pm cover band (& its louder that bedroom TV! ). 3) The breakfast buffet while ABOVE average CAN have some bad days like today's breakfast meat was hot dog slices. Seriously people? 4) Bar makes ridiculously weak drinks, served in nice whisky tumblers FULL of ice, my 2 night cap White Russians didn't make me sleepy-only disappointed. 5. Cable; 18 channels, huh? .............yet, Yet, YET I'll come back to rest here again as those items I told you I liked here far outweigh the negatives.

Photos and Description of Room Not Accurate

As noted by others here, the rooms do not match the pictures. The Jr. Suite has different furniture and, unless viewing a row of 20 air conditioners is considered a “City View”, I certainly could not see any city (or anything else for that matter). When I complained about the view (and furniture) I was told every Jr. Suite was this way. And sorry, I was not looking at the wrong picture as was suggested. This is a clear misrepresentation and the hotel should either a.) be ashamed for continuing this charade b.) be admonished for lack of quality control in terms of how they advertise.

This is excellent hotel. Showing it's age a little, a bit of a today up in the rooms would be good. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much of a problem. Room service good was good, breakfast buffet good was average and sometimes cold.
Overall I was very happy with my stay.
I would definitely return here.

The hotel was next to an bank with a ATM. Restaurants were in the hotel and across the street. I like soft flat not to high.the pillow there were to high. The bathtub was an accident waiting to happen. You walked up 2 steps and had to step down into it without falling. Poor design if your older you don't need the hassle. The hotel had parking. Parking is hard to find. The room walls were to thin. I could hear how happy the people next door were everynight.

Staff as always are all friendly and accomodating however the room is not maintained (wallpapers are already peeling off and the toilet bowl is leaking on the floor) breakfast buffet would really need some improvement as it is always the same variety. Overall doesn’t commensurate your money’s worth :(

There was too much noise coming from a room 12 teenagers.. I had to intervene.. ... way too many lamps with burnt out bulbs...batteries to the safe were dead.. the breakfast buffet needs shaking up, always the same filippino foods..when I call to order food the staff do not understand English.. we never get the room that is advertised in the photo.. The roof top band is extremely too loud.. we can hear the music down on the 6th floor.. I know filippinos love LOUD music but what about the guests that need rest? Please bring down the loud roof top music. We also experienced missing money from my girl friend's purse we did report the issue but without cameras and a formal investigation the missing money is gone forever. We would have used the safe but the batteries to the safe were dead. I wish I could talk to the owner's directly and help them understand this hotel property is going in the wrong direction. Attention to details.. lots of wood trim is missing in the bathroom.. the shower fixtures are loose.and wobbly.. there is no security only house keeping.. the door man (person) is lazy trash laying out on the front.. they are not friendly.. there are many good staff, many do not have the full concept of customer service clearly in their mind.. Why does it take 10 rings to the front desk for them to pick up?

This is an older hotel and the rooms are showing there age. The wifi is decent and the staff was very good. They put me in a corner room and changed immediately when i asked. For me its a bit too far from the action, but still within walking distance. 15-20 minutes to fields, but have cross a 4 lane busy highway. It's not a bad value, but there are much better options.

Noise level is high. You can actually hear people outside your room. Lacking quality toiletries. Fitness room looks like storage area- one eliptical, one bench, set of weights. No air conditioner in their so-called “fitness room”. Wine selection in rooftop bar is horrible- really, this is not an exaggeration.

Absolutely Disgusting!

Terrible hotel. The pictures on hotels.com is fake and the rooms are disgusting. They are not clean and you will feel like you will get a disease by sleeping on the bed. Toilets are dirty and the room is falling apart. Hotel tries to put you in the dirtiest room possible and hope you don't notice. Charge you for room keys and so many other charges you wont expect. Breakfast is terrible and such a far walk from Walking Street. Terrible stay will never set foot in that hotel again. Your vacation will be ruined if you stay there, better book elsewhere.

Nice but worn

The photos displayed on the various accommodation websites do not do the room justice. The room I stay was deluxe King but seemed more like standard. The website had \"room with view\" but the window looked into a light well. I like to have natural light into my room so I was disappointed.
I do have to say, staff are good and helpful. Breakfast was simple but nice and plentiful. Air con good and water pressure good.
All I'll say, don't deceive customers with false comments.
Yes, I would stay there again.

I booked a non-smoking room but as soon as I entered the room there was that unmistakable smell... Bed was too soft, obviously been used for mischevous things haha!

this is my bad experience in this hotel, as I travel all different country and stay in many different hotel. this is my first time to have lost the thing in hotel room, this is not a money or valueable thing that I know to keep in safety box, but just carton of cigraarette that I leave on table, 5 packs stolen in the room, complaint in 9pm as I need check out next morning 8:30am, the manager jsut told me still checking the CCTV and sorry. what .... what is this hotel. will you stay in the hotel unsafe like that.

Vacation in Angeles City.

The Azzurro Hotel for the most part was a nice hotel. There were some minor items that could use improvements. Check in was easy. The people who clean the room were fantasic. The room was an executive and was big and very comfortable and the view was of Mt Arayat. The restaurant was open 24/7 making it nice to get a meal.

The areas needing improvement was lack of communication. The facility do not have times of operation. One webpage said that the restaurant on the roof had a special of bucket of beers between 4-8 (I believe) and I went up at 5pm to find no one there. I found out later they opened at 6pm

As for the restaurant in the lobby it would also be helpful to have an in room restaurant menu so one could call down and order food. The breakfast was another area I think could use a little improvement. The problem is that once something runs out they don't seem to refill it. So if you come in and they had say pandesal and they were out at 8am they wouldn't refill it. Same with the chaffing dishes. If it ran out you didn't get any. I found this funny, but not near as funny as them running out of coffee at 9:30am when breakfast ends at 10am. So it would be nice to have them keep a better eye on refilling the buffet.

The biggest problem I had was the music from the roof was really loud and even when that was turned off at about midnight then the music from the clubs in the area kept you up until 4am. That was the killer for my vacation very little sleep.

Dirty Towels

Location is ideal close to everything I need. Food is average not a lot of choices just basic breakfast. Cleanliness is terrible specially the bathroom and the towels are disgusting the color are grayish and brownish for white towels supposedly, one of the towels are ripped on the edges. It is not conducive to stay, sleep and relax due to poor hygiene and dirty room.

Chances rooms 7 times in 7 days. Something was wrong in every room I was put in. Finally they upgraded me after 8 nights of bad a/c, crappy plumbing, broken tv's, and rooms by loud bars outside. I had to complain multiple times before they even tried to do anything for me. Finally got upgraded to a king suite and it was nice. But took way too long for hotel to make my stay nice

Amusing little extra features

This was a great experience although the first impression was a shock we arrived early and was told we would have to pay a 200 Peso payment to go to the room early even though it was just an hour early ,that did not bother me to much but the fact the room was already made up and it would have made no difference to them to allow us entry that amused me ,the room was comfortable and clean ,the bathroom was clean and the shower super powerful .The breakfast was acceptable ,but quite simple ,overall I enjoyed my two night stay there and would stay there again the staff was super nice and very polite and helpful ,just a brief walk to Fields avenue and all the night life and over the road to the Casino should that be your preferred entertainment ,the only other thing that amused me was the staff was encouraged to sell you as much as they could I asked for a taxi and ended up taking the hotel car to and from venue we went to ,the cost 300 Peso each way so nothing outrageous and sales of food as they could when you sat down in the lobby for maybe a light snack and ended up over ordering through encouraged sales ,the portions reflected there price they was large portions ,tasty but a snack became a meal over all though great stay

My Co-worker Loves this Hotel

It was ok for the most part. The shower knob was which allow you to switch from the rain shower to sprayer. I requested more towels and I basically had one for one exchange. The breakfast that is I included woyour is not all that great. However, I am picky about food. Therefore you have judge that for yourself. The staff is very pleasant. They are willing to accommodate you but the management make them reluctant todo so for fear they may be fired. I stayed at four different hotels to included to this one. It would my third out of the four. Price is reasonable.

Although the other services like shuttles and jacuzzi are pleasing. The breakfast included and the room is not something guests should have high expectations. The room isn't a high quality room, with repugnant odor as guests enter, missing toiletries and manually activated air-conditioning. Furthermore the risk of power failure is inherent and the inconveniences with being stuck to the elevator exists

We booked 3 rooms for our stay with family and friends. Hotel is. It safe . Around 1am as our family in the room already asleep . 5 people were trying to go in our room only to find out they were given the same room number and key . The receptionist booked the same room twice.
How uncomfortable and not safe at all.
Bathroom lights busted. Any extra towels will be charged 55pesos
Lost paper from deposit money is 500
Lost key card is500
Seems like every movement is being charged
Sad thing is they didn’t even apologize

Hotel is accessible to restaurants .

Receptionist needs be more professional when speaking with guest ( needs more training).
Our first four nights was horrible, wasn't able to sleep because other guest on the floor (4th floor) are having parties with doors open. I've norified the management several times, not sure if they've done something about it. They need to discuss hotel policy with other guest not to disturb other guest as courtesy . Bath tubs , showers needs to be re designed or reconstruct since water overflowed on the toilet floor from tub . It's a safety issue to guest ( slipping & falling). Floor is soaked with water & needing extra towels to avoid slipping while using the restroom . I booked non smoking floor , still other guest kept smoking . The management needs to enforce hotel policy for smoking & non smoking floor to guest who cannot comprehend .
I've requested the room that I booked ahead of time & during check in the room was occupied . The management needs to be more aware of that too. I had to transfer from one room to the other because of that reason . I was thankful to Francis one of their staff , I think their swing shift manager for helping us find the right room similar to what I booked & even upgraded the room for free . That was the good thing about this stay , inspite of alll the issues we've encountered . Hopefully the management can do something about these issues I've encountered so other guest won't experience the same issues.. Thanks

Smelt musty & hotel restaurant service appalling

Check in was fine but the room smelt musty. The furnishings were OK but the shower didn't work properly, with water fast dripping instead of flowing. At 8pm I went to ground floor to have dinner and ordered a dinner, beer and mango shake from the friendly waitress. Only one other table occupied. 10 minutes later, I asked the 5 waitresses and waiter 'can I have a bread roll please'. They discussed it and rang someone up and said they would let me know. 20 minutes later I asked about the bread roll and my drinks. Answer 'oh, they're busy preparing food for the bar on the top floor'. I cancelled my beer. After another 10 minutes I told them bring the food to my room (at least 40 minutes had gone by with no drink, no food). They answered 'oh, it's coming soon .... well a few minutes later a waitress appeared from the lift carrying a tray with the beer on it but unopened. I told her OK, please bring o my table but without the beer, which I cancelled. Well they brought the food to the table with the beer opened!!! ... Oh, and breakfast was like an Asian dinner ... I asked for fried eggs by special request and they arrived fried hard like leather.

Staff made the difference

I arrived around midnight because of late flight. Long 22 hour travel so I was very tired indeed. I was denied my room because they did not receive any confirmation from Hotels.com apparently. I was ready to go berserk but the smile, courtesy and professionalism of the front desk employee kept me civil. Kudos to Mary Anne or whatever her name was. Offered options and not excuses. Unlike other hotels I've been to.

Great location with lots if bars, spas, restaurants, and what have you around. Public transportation is no problem. Noise is not an issue. The hotel features a rooftop restaurant with live band which I personally enjoyed immensely. A jacuzzi way too small and a sauna even smaller. But not an issue for me.

Rooms were decent. Bathroom's a disaster. Too cramped, no hot water, and wasn't clean enough. TV wasn't working and the view was, well, nonexistent. Decent hotel but a tad overpriced.

Also, they misspelled my gf's name when I wrote it down for them... Wow.

Not as nice as I expected. Had to pay for an ice bucket and step up about 2 feet to get into shower. Hotel staff accommodating but had to call 3 days to get room cleaned. Hotel was under construction. Anytime you got food it was cold.
