The room was clean. The TV only gets net flicks and you tube the problem is music from the downstairs bar and girls out by the pool all night loud

I reserved a room with a King bed and it only had a queen. It was supposed to be a pool view room, but the room had no window. It looked like the room was built in the '60s and never had a remodel. There were no bathing products (Shampoo, Conditioner, or Body Wash). There was no Hair Dryer. The shower was so small, it was hard for me to take a shower, I'm 5'9\". The only good thing about the room was its location and the 10% discount at the attached restaurant.

Room was big. Only problem was safe didn't work correctly.
There is a 24 hour bar next door so it's noisy at night. They did pest control the other day, but they don't put out any bait for the rats..they are everywhere in the Philippines.

Kokomos location is great roughly in the middle of Red Street.
Staff in the front and reception are amazing, breakfast is always great, brewed coffee my Asawa and I like.
Rooms are certainly needing some maintenance 3 safes in our room and nil worked.
Very noisy can't sleep well singing etc until 3am.

Too many of the kokomos staff hanging around the pool area smoking, bar girls yelling very annoying.
Staff using a room to just hang out smoking.

Overall we love kokomos out of 10 we give it a 7

My stay in Angeles City

This place is not for couple who wants peace and quiet. The facility is filthy with cockroach running around your bed and the bathroom. There is no parking as noted on the website stated by the hotel.

I could not sleep in the room because of German cockroaches investing the room. It is not the staffs fault or the hotel because it looks like it was brought in by guest With their luggage’s. The hotel owner needs to do a clean sweep and lay down roach killing gel in all of the rooms. I came with three additional friends who had their own room and it was all in the same condition. Roaches everywhere!!

It was good for the price. The pros: Cold AC, awesome location, restaurant attached with diverse menu, great bar attached, mini bar in room, nice dark room without a window so you can easily sleep in after a long night of partying. The cons: spotted some dishes (but impossible not to in that climate i suppose), average water pressure, ok decent but not impeccable cleanliness. Had a great time in the town, and kokomos was one of the better hotels here it seems

It's in the heart of the entertainment street (fields ave). All clubs literally walking within 1 minute if hotel.
*Restaurant is 24hrs, serve all kinds of Western food breakfast , lunch, dinner!
*24hr convenience store with alchole and drinks and snacks just 1 min down the side street.
**Hotel room (bathroom) especially is run down, but okay for a solo traveller. Shower plumbing is off and have to relay in tub faucet no shower head pressure working my last night!

While I did enjoy my stay at Kokomos, there are a few things that they need to address. The main 2 are WiFi and TV. They have six or seven different WiFi connections to log into and they are ALL horrible. They constantly drop every few seconds to a minute and they takes a few minutes to reconnect and start the cycle all over. Makes it impossible to do anything and extremely hard to message anyone. TV, while I never plan to spend much time in my room, but those few hours I do spend in my room, I think its important to have TV or I should say cable to be more specific. They only 7 channels and 4 out of the 7 was different news... CNN, Euronews, Chinese news and I forget the other one. The other 3 was terrible local channels. At least they can have one movie channel available. Recommendations, get rid of half of the WiFi connections and focus on having 3 STRONG working connections. Have at least one working movie channel, HBO is an all time favorite for most. I did enjoy my stay, room was nice and the staff was great.

This Legend has been part of the Angeles scene for a long time. The hotel has a lot of character. It is not like a moden new hotel and all that but I would highly recommend staying here for the memories if nothing else. And the staff are super friendly and take care of you. Nothing not to like really.

Always a great place to stay

This is such a great place to stay, budget minded, clean, nice pool great bars., and the greatest staff. Right on the main strip, if you don't feel like doing anything you can sit, have an ice tea, cocktail, or beer, and people watch, watch the world walk by.

Great location. But...
1. Unfortunately despite reminding the staff to check the working condition of aircon during booking. We still received a faulty aircon room. Slept few nights in a non working aircon, informed multiple staff about it but still the same when back to room at night. Only till final night, the attending manager switch us to another hotel to stay. The rest of the staff doesn't seem interested to attend to customers feedback or valid concerns.
2. We stayed at the poolside, every morning as early as 5 am plus, you will hear lots of chatting from the staff, omg.
3. Repair of roofing also done in early morning without any notice, omg. That's the last thing you ask for after a nights party.

No phone in room. Came in room bugs running all over. Bugs on me when I got up . Had to pay for water and no coffee in room. If you wanted a nice quiet place to sleep at night this is not the place to stay at. Breakfast was with reservation and had to pay for that .

Great location on Walking street. Voodoo's bar is attached to the hotel and good place to grab a drink. The pool is not heated so the water is cold but refreshing. All the girls and waitresses come out back to the pool area to take breaks and eat/smoke so you get to see them all there. The restaurant serves a great breakfast and has good coffee. But your not allowed to eat outside food in the pool area. You must eat it in your room

The property is right in the heart of the action. The staff were excellent, including the waitresses and counter staff and bed maid. The room, though very small would have been great with a coat of paint (quite dirty looking). Only other complaint is the wifi sucked so bad I had to walk around the entire property with my lap top to gain access for mandatory business access. I chose a cheap room which accommodated me as expected, however (just my luck) I am in rm 16 which is right at the stairs allowing all noises of walking street to be present (all night long). Overall good experience because the staff makes up for the owner's reluctance to up-grade the wifi or paint the rooms.

Always enjoy staying at Kokomo's, left early about 4am because the neighboring establishment was having their Christmas Party and I needed to sleep hahaha. All in all an enjoyable stay, best staff ever!

Front desk staff was the best part of the stay there. Excellent English speaking, mature, down to earth, competent. I would stay at Kokomos again for the convenience of the 24-hour restaurant, Voodoo lounge, the location, and the front desk staff.

The only thing that could be improved is the smell of the water coming out of the shower.

I love their restaurant. I eat there all the time with I am in this city, but staying at the hotel I get 10% off my food. Awesome. Unfortunately the internet connection in the room was not good. I had to go to the restaurant to use WiFi. As always, the staff at Kokomos is amazing. I love all of them. They are the best.

We'll i work fora hotel chain and what I say is the truth as I saw it.. The Good: Great location and the food is good, staff was also good and whic quick checking..Bad: The rooms are horrible and outdated.. There was something in the roof or walls that sounded like rats. Kept me up all night. Great location but loud music all night so I wouldn't stay in front. Also i saw roaches in bathroom. There other hotelsi would go to to stay. As far as going for drinks and sitting at the bar it's perfect right by walking street.

Friendly restaurant and hotel staff. But a mystery toothbrush confirmed my suspicion that the maid staff was consuming my mouthwash and toothpaste. The failing WiFi was also troublesome. An exposed nailhead on the bed frame scratched legs. Poor electrical wiring caused a wall light switch to shut off the tv and have an adjacent outlet smoke and shot sparks; they taped over the switch. Dogs, cats and rats ran above the overhead metal roof. Wifi was usually down. 24 hour kitchen noises included stacking washed plates. Also strong food odors. The location was entertaining, but other options will be considered next time.

The 24hour club that’s attached to the restaurant is great. Restaurant food was also great and reasonably priced. Staff is excellent! But the room itself could have been cleaner, a few bed bugs on the mattress and the sounds of rodents in the ceiling made it unpleasant. Bathroom is very small and not very pleasant.

Good central location

Staff is great and I always stay there because of it central location. It has a good restaurant that has an international menu.
They have the Vodoo lounge/bar which drinks can be expensive so I tend to stay out of there (women,alcohol and money don’t mix) Pool is ok and rooms are clean and it’s affordable. Transportation to and from Manila is available and reasonable.

First time trip to Angeles City and Kokomo’s was a comfortable and safe location for me. Food at attached restaraunt was very tasty and priced fairly. Staff was excellent. Office manager Rina very helpful answering questions about area and offered any assistance needed with my needs. I will stay here again.

Nice hotel right in the heart of walking street

This was my third stay at Kokomos. The Chumber maids do a good job of cleaning the rooms. The staff here are friendly and the service is outstanding. This place never closes. I Love this Hotel.

This hotel is not as good as its location on fields Ave. It is in a prime location on fields however, the room (economy room) is not up to par, such as poor quality bathroom amenities and the room was very small, but for the cost you can't really beat it.

cozy little place

cozy little place in the heart of the walking street. Catering to men. Beer is cold. Pool is nice. Food is good and lots of pretty ladies. I spent 2 weeks here and was very satisfied. I will stay here again and recommend this to other guys

Great location and the staff at all the hotels are also great but they have only so much that they can work with. Very old hotel and even the renovated room is not up to par because of the bathroom. Could not get the tv to work and had to wait to next day for someone that knew how to operate it. By that time I had figured it out myself. Second time here and I believe never again.

Check in was quick and simple. The room however... First off the restroom has no window and the exhaust fan didn't work, Second, the hotel listing reads free toiletries which there were none. I'm surprised for a three-star hotel not to provide any. I let the reception aware, and they finally came to replace my fan. The staff however was not very friendly, seemed very bothered that I had to ask. I did also ask to speak to the manager, and in my three night stay there she never did call back or show up.

I stayed in both a poolside and an internal room. Great location and good restaurant right on the Walking Street, but the wifi was terribly unreliable, there was no phone reception in the internal room, the shower was broken in the poolside room, and there is constant noise in the rooms from the 24-hour bar downstairs.

Best place to stay on Fields Ave.

Had to go to Angeles City to renew my tourist visa, Kokomo's wonderful staff handled everything for me. All I had to do is drop my Passport at the front desk , sit out by the pool, swim, read and have a cold beer. Got a nice massage in the evening and my papers were ready the next day. Nice hotel, awesome staff,best location on Walking Street, all at a very very reasonable price/

Nice Hotel on The Walking Street

A very comfortable stay. I stayed 15 nights here. The Food was very good here. The pool is small but very clean. The staff was nice but always busy as this is Hotel, Restaurant, and club all in one. This Hotel caters to single men and is good for those on a budget. They provide a laundry service. This is right in the Heart of the action on walking street. I would recommend this to other single men. I would not recommend this for families with small children.

Found hotel staff to be very good but the room had no window and smelled strongly of disinfectant. It badly needs updating too, some of the décor was very old looking. The disinfectant smell persisted for the 4 days i was there. This also compromised the comfort.
Noise was above normal but that's because the hotel is in the middle of walking street. Would be OK for a quick night but not for longer.

My favorite place to stay. Low cost, great staff, great food, but above all....great location. Walk to everything you will ever need. Not a Vegas style hotel, more of a movie set from officer and a gentleman. This is actual local culture with the Added Aircon for your convenience.

It was under a restaurant and was a bit loud. The room also smelt a bit funky. It said it had toiletries included, but there was no tooth brush, shower soap or toothpaste. If you're tight on cash, then it's an option I guess.
