The hotel property is ok and conveniently located near Walking Street. Staff were generally friendly, but security is trash and policies inconsistent.
Everyone knows most guests bring companions due to the proximity to Walking Street. On the 1st night, I brought a person, and there was no issue: staff followed the standard policy of registering the guest and calling my room before she left.
On the 2nd night, I brought another guest. This person stole a valuable USD amount and left the hotel at 5:30 AM while I was sleeping, without any check or call to me bypassing security protocols.
The front desk staff were friendly and willing to help, but top management was completely uncooperative. If staff had called me before the companion left, this could have been prevented. Management showed no sympathy and offered only a measly 10% discount on a future booking, which I refused.
I was told similar incidents had occurred before, indicating they were aware of risks in the area, yet consistent protocols were not followed. When I reported the theft, they refused to provide CCTV footage (only to police) and blamed me for not using the safebox. I refute this, as no guest can fit laptops, watches, or larger objects in it, and the outcome would have been the same.
This experience ruined my vacation. The hotel would not help at all in these circumstances. I have filed a police report and am taking further steps. I recommend guests look other place in which you could feel safe and protected.

We Paid big money for the breakfast included option and they had no eggs. They could not cook you an egg anyway at all. Hard boiled or fried. I can’t have a high carb breakfast. Eggs with any meat is fine. Yogurt is fine but nothing. I asked to get my breakfast money back they said they would process the the issue with Expedia but I have seen no refund. They should not offer a breakfast option at such a high price. I paid for the most delux room.

Room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable. AC and Wi-Fi worked well.

This is not a hotel, it is a MOTEL. There is no restaurant on site. The only real amenity is the pool.

The concept of every room having a pool view sounds good but the reality is that you will hear children screaming and laughing while you try to find peace in your room. The layout of the hotel makes it a huge echo chamber and amplifies sound. Don't bother trying to take a nap there!

The room was nice, big & clean. However the wooden floor had many parts that were creaking or damaged.
Check-in & check-out was fuss free & wonderful. The room was missing a side table on one side & there were no power sockets to charge the phone beside the bed. Also the wash basin is outside the bathroom which makes it a bit strange.
The staff were wonderful & helpful especially Kristal, Kisha & Gal.
Complimentary Breakfast options are rather limited with only 1 cup of coffee offered.

The entire staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the room did not fit the description/pictures on the website. It appeared to be dated compared to the rooms pictured on the website. Maybe it is scheduled for a remodel. The bed was hard, even with a topper on it.

Little far from the action and walking back late at night feels a little unsafe, even the locals warned us. Hotel has cool concept but the room is falling apart, mold in the shower and carrying a physical key is so 1990’s. Get some key cards please.

The room was large and clean. There were no windows, but the glass door made up for it. There were enough surfaces to put our things on. The arrangement of the bathroom is quite strange, with the shower only separated by a clear glass partition and the person showering can be visible from the room.

The pool was ok, but quite deep and steep. The staff were friendly. Parking was available on a 1st come 1st serve basis by the street, but a guard is available.

Location is walking distance to several pubs, dining establishments and what looks like a red light district. But the street itself is quiet and peaceful.

This is a convenient and safe stay in Angeles! The suites are very spacious and clean. The staff and service is very friendly and accommodating. We were able to request a quote for private transportation to a nearby town. The hotel itself is very quiet and in a convenient location. You can walk to many convenient stores, banks, and restaurants. We felt very safe here. I recommend this stay for anyone visiting Angeles City.

Amazing location to stay. Receptionists and staff were very helpful and friendly. Like the fact that hotel was away from all the noise created from tourists, loud music, and constant movement by people in the walking street. Staff consistently asked if you needed any additional services like cleaning your room and a day. I will highly recommend this place to anyone because of convenience and comfort, friendly staff, and area not being located exactly where traffic and noise exists.

The area that this property is located in is not nice. There is almost no parking. If you drive your car away from the hotel when you return, you may have to park in the street where the local residents are playing basketball. The interior of our room had so many repairs that it is easy to see that the clientele do not treat the property with respect. We never felt comfortable in this hotel and checked out a day early even though we had paid in advance for a second day. When there were people in the pool, we could hear ever word of their conversations in our room until we turned the tv on with the volume louder than necessary. If you like staying in the hood then this is the place for you but if you want to stay somewhere nice and safe, then look elsewhere! I'd rather stay in a SOGO than here!

I enjoyed my week stay at the Winds. The staff was very friendly and helplful. My room was very spacious and clean, with great Wifi connection, and lots of amenities.

I was impressed by the professional and polite interaction I had with staff member Lovely when I needed to modify my reservation over the Internet. She handled it extremely well. She was also very polite and pleasant in person, and a delight to talk to.

I would definitely stay here again because of the location, wonderful staff, and spacious, clean rooms.

Truly the absolute best stay you could ask for in Angeles City. My wife and I stay there every time we are in town and have not a single regret. We used to enjoy going here but our recent stay soured it a little. We had two friends come and visit (not stay overnight) to have some food with us but after a few hours we were told that they would have to pay 1200 peso each to stay any further. I have not experienced this in any other hotel before. We asked if a receipt would be given but were met with blank gazes.
We decided to all go out into the town rather than spend the 2400 peso there as there are no services available (just a pool that our friends were not using).
Quite disappointed really.

Overall, it would have been great gift to a couple. However, the tub's drain wasn't working. Sayang. The couple really wanted to try it. Reception didn't know how to fix it. Housekeeping only came in the morning.

Deceivingly very nice surprisingly for the area. It is far off from the beaten track. Very quite area and a short walk away from restaurants and Main Street. I stayed at the best room, I took two rooms for me and my other four companions. Very luxurious and modern. The pool was very nice. Service was impeccable and it offered an outdoor rooftop veranda that was nice at night.

The employees are great. Property good. The only negative part about this hotel is the smoking area is in the only Lounging area. It’s the only place to soak up some sun on padded seats. If your a non smoker, it’s terrible. If they want to keep smoking there at least get some lie down pads for around the pool cause that area is limited.

We are staying at this hotel a few times throughout our stay here in the Philippines. We have had a couple issues but nothing that this staff couldn’t fix. The staff have been very accommodating in helping us. The only needed improvement here is the wifi in the rooms. If you stand at your window it works but not if your lounging in bed or on the couch.

The entire staff at this property are excellent and willing to help with anything. The property is very well kept and clean. Also a great perk is the golf cart ride to close by stores. As it asks if there are any dislikes, the only thing would be the lighting around the mirrors is weak and perhaps a pot with lid to make rice. I’m sure if I had asked for one, they would have supplied.Also in the kitchen perhaps a scrub pad sponge rather than just a sponge, to clean the pan a little better. Also I noticed non smoking signs upstairs outside the rooms but then smoking seems to be allowed in the lounging area, which is very close to these signs, where this is the only place with chairs where one can catch some sun or read a book. If you are a non smoker, well I don’t need to say anymore. That’s my 2 sense worth

My fiance and I stayed with them last February. Our stay for a night was awesome. We stayed at room Bora 3/4, i can’t really rememver. We rated them 10/10. So we decided to go back again this July because we were beyond satisfied with the place. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We stayed at Bora 2 this time and for two nights, we thought it was gonna be the same awesome place but the place just wasn’t the same. It looked like it was old and it smelled really bad. The staff were nice but I don’t think we are going back again.

We had the Bora Room for an overnight stay. The check in was fast. The front desk was a big help. We weren't able to enjoy the pool much because it was too cold. I enjoyed the tub at the room instead while my hubby watched NBA All Star Game. Wifi was good. Not much food choices so we dined out and ordered fastfood deliveries. Place was clean. Room was spacious. Overall, it was a great staycation for us. :)

No breakfast on offer but plenty of eateries nearby.

Nice hotel. It looks like a condo than hotel. It is located not to far from everything. The amenities are excellent. It is much cheaper than the big names hotel and you get alot for your buck. Rooms are clean, and really nice. The staff is great and always willing to help you out. Highly recommended!!!. I will definitely book there again if i go back there. I stayed in the Amihan suite. That is the upgraded room. Much better than some hotels i have been too for almost have the cost.
