Two bedroom suite and neither air conditioner worked The walls and shower equipment were in poor condition. There was a large roach on the bathroom counter on check in. Also charged additional fee when we requested an extra pillow and blanket. Please consider another option.

My room is on 3 third floor, and when I get in to the room my bedroom is on 4 floor.
I am 77 years old I have to climb all day that stairs with bad knees, I already have bad knee, I have to go up and down for 15 day. My knees got really bad. and the cleaning lady didn’t come clean for five day inside is so called condo do not have stoves or microwave. It had one electric tea pot. It had dishes, so I can’t cool or warm up anything. the pillow was so hard and big it hurt my neck so bad I keep going to get a massage.
Around of pool it’s had so many steps, in fact one old man trip and falls, I think he broke his wrist .

Overall my stay was good. Friendly staff, older room but nice with a comfortable bed. A few negative things were the two swimming pools were not properly maintained. Big main pool water was green. Smaller second pool was so dirty stuff was floating throughout the pool.

Chom View is great value

By American standards, this hotel is typical of a nice beach motel (room door is accessed from outside) found in places along the Eastern Shore. It's clean, comfortable, and well located. Not fancy, but all the basics are there. I had a pool-view room with king bed, and it was quiet for my Feb. Saturday night stay. The pool areas are nice, I opted for breakfast- typical Asian spread had something for everyone. Sausages were boiled though. Go for traditional food and it will be better! Great value for a short stay. 5 min walk to Tamarind and Cicada markets which are super fun- go there for dinner and and trinket shopping. It was much cleaner and fun atmosphere than I expected, both had live music and places to sit and enjoy and eat. Good for kids too. Several other hotels on the same street to explore for dinner and pools without going far or driving.

Would definitely prefer the one facing the sea mor

Thought it is only Chom View hotel when I booked the hotel, only to find out there’s another facing the sea, would definitely prefer the one facing the sea more. Suggest to make it clear in the app that there are 2 different hotels and one of them is facing the sea and the other is not (and is an older hotel)

on arrival at hotel room described as superior room was in fact like a butlins room. we had to pay an extra 19500 bahts extra for a deceit room which was really an apartment for 4 to 5 people we are not happy about this. the main reason we booked this hotel was for the pool which was great. we would like to make an official complete about this.

meh... maybe not again...

Breakfast was good. First night we were in the cheap rooms. I've seen some creative showers in Asia, but this took the cake. I wish I would have taken pictures of the 5 faucets in the tub, but I was too hot and too tired. Bathroom was dirty especially the light fixtures. A/C barely worked in the room and had a sign that we were not allowed to turn it lower that 24C. The pillows were so firm and tall I couldn't sleep. On the second night we asked to switch to a better room. They did allow us to switch, but said we had to pay the $30 more. Seemed worth it to have a better night sleep and i was desperate. So they sent us to the tower room and for the $30 more we got a room double the size at least with kitchenette, complete with dishes, dining table, couch and chair. This room was impeccably clean and smelled like teak. Night and day difference from the 1st room. However, downside was that the A/C only worked in the living room and the bedroom AC never came on. Unfortunately we got back late and didn't really realize the A/C was not working because the fan was going until probably close to midnight. We tried to sleep for a couple hours, hoping the sign by the a/c that said it would just take 2 mins to kick on was truthful. Unfortunately it was wrong. Finally after realizing we were sweating through our pj's, I made the tiny couch into a bed for my husband and I slept on the tile floor. Our friends stayed in a suite both days and had no issues.

Not what the pictures suggested

The pictures on Expedia showed a pool overlooking the ocean. It turns out that this is a separate part of the hotel catering for four person bookings. As we were a couple we were given a room in the hotel 500 metres from the ocean with no view at all. Also there is no beach access from this hotel at high tide as the waves crash against the barrier wall. All the “hot” foods at breakfast were actually cold, including the eggs. We witnessed small birds actually eating from the fried rice container. At certain times the food was also in the sun. Our room included a kettle but no cups, tea or coffee.
The room was spacious and included two lounge chairs which was a bonus.
We could not control the air conditioner in our room which was freezing during the day and hot at night. We only had a doona on the bed which was way too warm.
Our booking included a surcharge for a special New Year dinner which we were never offered.

Staff very nice and helpful,bit of building work being done by the swimming pool but this never impacted on the experience,very close to the beach with a great view from pool area so you could always seethe children.
Rooms where clean and these where cleaned and tidy every day by the hotel staff.
Close to a night market,restaurant,7 11 shop and 10 minutes to town
All my family enjoyed are stay and would go back again

Chom View is the Hotel in Huahin with the best Price/Performance, breakfast included. Located directly on the sea with a large Swimming pool and relax area with a direct Access to the sea. It is easily to reach from the Highway. A must to see is the natural reserve south of HuaHin with a lot of Caves or a walk from the Hotel to ko takiab

Hotel was nice, but not as seen in pictures. Not close to beach but its directly on sea. U can't get out on beach as it was full of water. For going to beach you need to travel to towncentre to locate beach around 2.5 km. No proper food was available except at morning breakfast.

Room was clean and as expected. Just disappointment was beach area.

The excellence is the location. It's close to Cicada night market just five minute walk.

We love Chom View environment !

We liked the stay here due to the quiet and peaceful environment, such as the country side view. Nice swimming pool facing to the sea view.
Very friendly staffs and provide good services information. We ready enjoy to stay here and will come back again. The tour group taxi stationed outside of the hotel provides very good servce as well.

Chom View - not much view!

The hotel was good, however it could improve vastly on the drinks at the beach-side pool. The cocktails were expensive and done el-cheapo (i.e. they had almost no alcoholic ingredients and were mostly juice).
The breakfast had yogurt available only 1 day out of 4, and overall was pretty average - at the the coffee was good.
The 'music' playing in the hotel reception and restaurant throughout the day over and over had me gritting my teeth! There was the same 'oldies' played from the 70's and 80's (including George Michael's Christmas song!!) with only about 10 songs in the playlist... it was dreadful - this could so easily be improved!
I don't know why it is called 'Chom View' - there really is no view from any room except right at the front where the pool is.

Chillaxing family trip, resonable price

Hua Hin is so popular now and the hotels are almost over price.I choose Chom View by a friend's recommend and i enjoyed what I got. The hotel is next to the beach and the pool is large the hotel atmosphere is very nice for my kids. The room is convenient and spacious. There are taxi infront of the hotel or you can walk 8-10mins to get to a bus stop.

Nice hotel good value for money - staff were very professional and pleasant (with the exception of the young cashier girl at the poolside bar - who clearly is not suited to this role uninterested, not happy approach is very un-Thai like). Great pool for both children and adults will definitely stay her again, Suggestion need safe in rooms.

This hotel is great for families, as there are many \"Family Duplex\" rooms available. They are as big as an apartment, quiet, and clean!
The hotel website says there are two pools, and there are - but one is very small and shallow, in a courtyard. The other pool is beautiful, about 4 ft deep throughout, with a sectioned off part that is very shallow for small children. There are many day beds around the pool. Both pools close at 6pm.
The hotel has a private beach access, although the beach isn't that great. Horses travel up and down the beach offering tourists a chance to ride, but dirtying the sand and making it inadequate for sunbathing. The ocean has many jellyfish, making it not a good place to play in the water.
The hotel's website also boasts two restaurants and a pool bar. One restaurant is only open for the breakfast buffet. The other restaurant only has pizza and sandwiches, and it closes at 6pm. The pool bar has terrible coffee, overpriced soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks. It also closes at 6pm.
There are taxis that wait across the road from the hotel and have cheap, fixed prices to take guests into town. There is also the option of walking five minutes out to the bigger road and waiting for public transportation into town.
On the weekends, the Cicada market is open and just a five minute walk from the hotel. Stalls sell handcrafted souvenirs, and there are many food stalls.

Overall not to bad.Good pool for the kids and nice beach straight from the hotel.A few things could have made it better such as hot water in the shower and a tv in main room,also breakfast gets a little boring as its the same everyday.Nice area away from street and bars but only a 150 baht taxi ride into main part of town if you want to go.We hired a motorbike which made it a bit easier to get around,also cicada market only a 5 minute walk

According to the page the pet will be charged 1,000 baht per day, however the actual cost was 2,000 baht. The point is when we tried to talk to them the price is different from hotel.com, we were told there's nothing they can do for us, it's not their fault at all and not giving any help on this , moreover not even try to contact hotel.com. NOTHING besides a \"take it or leave it\" attitude, very disappointed trip! The building is old and dirty as well.

Big room but staff service leaking

Room are big however staff service standard are very poor. Only help on 1 luggage instead of 3. Whereby the date we arrive are considered low peak. Need to walk out a distant before reach main road. Near by are Cidaca night market , can book if you only want to relax at beach as it consider private beach with less people visit . Unlike Hua hin beach dirty and lot of ppl.
Internet wifi only apply to lobby front desk that all. Unlike what stated when book :( :(

The location is just on the edge of \"town\", so you have to take a taxi to get into the centre. It is close to an AMAZING water park however, and there is a small night market that's open on the weekends that pretty cool; one market is very old-school, and there's another that's more high end.

This is a maybe 2 star hotel, guy at checkin would not let us check in even though i showed him hotels.com confirmation number, he wouldnt call, i had to call hotels.com at 11pm and finally after talking with them they were great and called the hotel and 45 minutes later they let us check in. Night auditor is horrible. Room was worse, grounds bad and breakfast was terrible. Sooooo many choices in hua hin, we promptly moved to dusit.

Nice getaway

We enjoy the Chom View as it is right on the ocean. When the tide is out, opportunities to walk the beach and explore are fun. Great little restaurants in the area. The pool is large with a view of the ocean. The weekend night market is literally right around the corner.

Overall it wasn't bad. The room is clean but the building, hallways, elevator, interior, and furnitures is very old and worn out, with minimal maintenance. The room door is expanded due to humidity or something and it makes really loud noise when opening/closing. Breakfast was decent.

Nice Hotel - Seaview Resisence is the best.

We had a very difficult time actually finding the Hotel and were misguided several times by google maps and other map software, but a local resident finally pointed the way. The Seaview Residences are the best. I don't think I would stay in a regular room. Great view of the sea!

It has been a few years since we visited Hua Hin and we were surprised by how expensive the hotels have become. The Chom View is an affordable alternative to all the overpriced hotel chains. A small hotel with a personal touch, you feel at home. The tides at this time of year made the beach a challenge, but the late afternoons were wonderful.

This older hotel was quite charming and the service was excellent. The seaside pool was beautiful and uncrowded since most of the hotel was being renovated. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Their breakfast buffet was excellent. The only drawbacks (which could by some be a plus) was the hotel was hidden on the southern end of Hua Hin beach in a very quiet area. I definitely would return!

The Chomview is only ok. Nice pool, no beach at all at this time of the year( Dec). Over summer I imagine the beach is probably quite nice. Rooms uite basic, oldish. Bed was fine but pillows big and bulky and not comfortable at all. Staff were all very helpful and polite. The hotel was a bit out of the way. A 5-10 minute taxi/tuk tuk from town. Not many restaraunts near over Christmasby. Breakfast at the Chomview was very ordinary. We only booked in here as the 4 star hotels were too expensive. All in all fairly priced I suppose.

We only stayed there for 1 night. The location of the hotel is good, at the beach itself. Room is clean & nice big comfortably bed. However, the water tabs in the bathroom at the basin are not easy to use as they are fixed to close to the basin. This is the only thing that caused inconvenient every time we use it. Buffet breakfast is so so.

I ordered delux room, which is set bathtab. However our room was garden view without bathtab. I claimed it and requested room change but could not it.
Also on Saturday, big group turiest was come in thr hotel and so noisy and crouded in the swimming pool.
So I will not use this hotel next time.

Nydelig beligenheten men trenger oppussing

Elsker beligenheten ved stranda og rett ved Cicada nattmarked.
Personalet er vennlige og meget serviceinnstilte.

Dessverre fremstår hotellet noe nedslitt og både rom og basseng trenger oppussing.
Når vi var der var det minste bassenget stengt mens det største ved stranda var nedslitt og til fare for gjestene.Flisene i bassengbunnen var knust flere steder og små biter av fliser lå i bassenget. Mitt barn fikk seg et kutt i foten pga det, noe vi også opplevde at andre barn fikk.

Legger til at frokosten var noe enkel og ble kjedelig etterhvert og at vi måtte bytte rom underveis da det kom vann opp gulvet på kjøkkenet.

Not on the beach, false advertising

The hotel is tucked back far from the main road, and surrounded by other private properties, so it’s not convenient for strolling to nearby restaurants and shops. It’s hard to get a grab, so you have to rely on slow and more expensive taxis. This would all be okay if the hotel were right on the beach. However, it is still a walk to the ocean, and even then, THERE IS NO BEACH. The property is advertised as being a beachfront hotel, but instead of sand, there is a concrete barrier. It is a section of the coast without a beach. I guess the name “Chom View” is meant to tout the idea that there is at least a view of the ocean (the same view of the ocean a hotel on the beach would also have). However, my room overlooked an unusable pool that was under repair from one direction, and a vacant lot from the other direction. I don’t think there is any view of the ocean from the hotel itself, you have to walk down the road away.

In Hua Hin there are many nice hotels right on the sandy beach. There are also economic hotels where you need to walk a bit to the beach but they’re cheap and you have easy access to the restaurants, stores, and transportation. This hotel is the worst of both of worlds. I ended up checking out early and paying for a room I didn’t use, because I was so miserable here.

ビーチ目の前で、ロケーションは良いです。全体的にシンプルなつくりのホテルですが、値段相当で問題ありません。ホテルから5分強ほど歩くと大通りにでますので、コンビニ等あります。現時点では、コロナウイルスのため、シカダマーケットは、閉鎖されていますが、通常に、戻れば、マーケットも開いて、飲食店も開いて、にぎやかになり、より便利になると思います。部屋は、古さは感じるものの、問題なく快適に過ごせました。
リーズナブルに泊まりたい、初日の到着が遅いとき等にまた利用したいと思います。

Sejour bon hotel à update notre chambre qui etait tres bien avec vu sur la mer et la picine.
Le petit dejeuner n'etait pas genial du coup le deuxième jour nous avons preféré préparer notre petit déjeuner.
Tout est équipé et les chambres sont propre et spacieuse.
Des couverts et verre sont disponible.

โรงแรมติดกับชายหาด มีสระว่ายน้ำที่ไม่ลึกมาก ปลอดภัยในระดับหนึ่ง แม้ไม่มีจนท.รักษาความปลอดภัยในการใช้สระ พักแบบห้องพักสำหรับผู้พักสองคนเป็นตึกและห้องเก่า แต่สะอาดพอประมาณ ห้องน้ำเป็นแบบเก่าคืออ่างอาบน้ำรวมกับฝักบัว ทำให้ไม่สะดวกในการอาบน้ำเท่าไหร่

ที่พักสะอาด มีสระว่ายน้ำ 2 สระ สวยดี ทะเลสาวนตัวน่าเล่นมาก แต่บริการหน้าเคาน์เตอร์ต้องปรับปรุง พนักงานเสียงเบา พูดรัวเร็วเกินไป ฟังไม่ชัด เวลาเช็คเอาส์ เรียกเบอร์ห้องไม่ได้ยิน เลยรอนาน ต้องเข้าไปถาม * ไม่มี Wi Fi * ในการจองบอกว่ามี แต่พอไปถึงไม่มี

ห้องพักกว้างขว้าง เหมาะสำหรับครอบครัว แต่ไม่เหมาะสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ เพราะห้องนอนต้องขึ้นบันได แต่ในส่วนอื่นอาจจะมีแบบห้องพักคู่ ที่ไม่ต้องขึ้นไปนอนข้างบน มีสระน้ำกว้างขวาง อยู่ริมทะเล โดยรวมชอบค่ะ

Fint beliggenhet, fantastisk personalet!

Hotellet og bildene svarte til forventningene ut fra bestillingen. Er en super beliggenhet med bassenget rett på strandkanten. Det beste med oppholdet var betjeningen, de var bare helt supre! Service i alle ledd og alltid smilende. Hotellet bar preg av å være litt slitt, men personalet veide opp for det! Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Paid for a big suite, and expected a little \"luxury\".

What met me was a strong smell of old moisture and mold.
The wall in the bedroom had big pieces comming off.

Air con in the livingroom was good, but in the bedroom it was no cold air from the outlet.
So I had to sleep on top of the blanket all nights, waking up sweaty in the morning.

Internet:
If you need to use internet when you stay in Hua Hin; CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL

There are many other hotels with better location, better food, and working internet in Hua Hin, for a better price.

We have booked 8 nights and left on the second day. The room was to small for 3 people (no place to open our luggages..) and the breakfast was also not really convenient. The reception was really nice and said they will refund a part of our money (ca. 19.500 bath) to our credit card but we have never received anything (it was kn february). I wanted to contact the hotel but their website is down and i found a Email adress on google but i never get an answer. It‘s really frustrating that you cannot contact anyone and get ignored because thats a lot of money..
