Great service.

Good one night, stay prior to flying home.
Unfortunately the lifts were out of service.
All rooms are on the third floor! The Duty Manager kindly arranged to carry my luggage to my room for me as I have an ongoing issue with my knee, and would not have been able to manage myself.
Traditional style hotel but spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was good value for the money with many options.
Highly recommended .

My stay In Vercindario.

All rooms are on the 3rd Floor of the Commercial centre . Rooms are basic but clean with a daily maid service . Breakfast is a buffet and value for money at €5.00 . It’s location is central and in a fine pedestrianised area .The town itself is clean and feels looked after by its residents. Only draw back but not an issue while we were there was the unserviceability of the lifts with only two three working at once .

My room was very clean and comfortable and overlooked Avenida de Canarias. The bathroom was also very clean and functional.
The hotel is unexpectedly quiet for the location in the centre of Vecindario, which was great.
The buffet dinner at 8 Euros was excellent value. The buffet breakfast costs 4 Euros
I would definitely return to this hotel.

From a 2-star hotel you can't expect too much - except a clean place to sleep for one night - and it provided exactly this. Plus very decent bathroom with bathtub and bidet, very good wifi and a great location (near the bus stop from the airport and on the walking street of Vecindario.

Outstanding find

I was not expecting much and was very surprised to experience this hotel. It’s in a wonderful location right on the central open Irmo. The rooms are very thoughtfully put together everything is eco-friendly and energy efficient and modern new and comfortable. Comfortable bed very functional bathroom facility and the restaurant is outstanding which is in the building and can be included with your stay for a small church

Difficult to find but good value

I was looking for a hotel close to Gran Canaria airport for 1 night after a late flight arrival. It's not that close (a 20 euro taxi ride) but then there aren't many hotels anywhere near the airport. I'm glad I wasn't trying to navigate myself though. The hotel is in a pedestrian precinct so is tricky to find if you're driving and don't know where it is. Its address is Saint Lucia but it's miles from the main town, not far off the GC-1 motorway.
The hotel is quite old and traditional and the room was just that. Spacious, very clean and OK for comfort but don't expect luxury. It was quiet during the night too.
Breakfast was included in our rate and was pretty good, as was the rate we paid. Staff were good and helpful. The precinct outside has a good selection of cafes, restaurants and shops and seemed pleasant enough.

a good base to explore from

this hotel is located within a town and is facing a pedestrian area not near the sea and does not have a pool however always remember what we pay. an underground car park is accesable via the one way sys just follow the signs for the hotels car park but keep an eye on the street junctions. a great place to bed down for the nights and go off exploring each day. located about 15km from the airport and within veiw of the sea. breakfasts have good choice of buffet. the staff are happy the help. there is a very good new shopping centre 15 mins walk away with a big supermarket . and of course shopping in the town. a good baisic base to roam from.

Good only for one night (airport hotel)

- Super complex to get there as it is located in a walking only area and the streets are all one way and changed traffic rules recently so gps doesn't sent you the right way. Simply add 10 minutes to your schedule to drive around.
- Room smelled bad. Someone was likely smoking in there or something even thought the room was nonsmoking one.
+ Close to the airport and the underground parking is great. Plus 24/7 reception desk makes it comfortable.
- Only suitable for one night. Not a vacation style hotel for sure.

Useful for stop over from or to airport.

We stayed just the one night as our plane landed late evening.
We were hiring a car from the airport the next morning therefore did not fancy driving to Puerto Mogan in the dark for the remaining 13 nights of our holiday.
The taxi journey cost €16 from airport to hotel.
Check in easy once we had worked out that the reception was in the basement area.
Room large very clean the bathroom large very clean with shower / bidet / loo and perfect for the one night stop over not air conditioned but very effect ceiling fan so no problems sleeping.
Nearby after exiting the hotel to the right the last bar before the plaza ( outside seating under cover ) and inside seating by the bar run by a very friendly Cuban they made us feel very welcome indeed when we turned up for a nightcap.
We did not have breakfast in the hotel cost €4 as needed to collect hire car from airport. The receptionist was very helpful in booking us a taxi to return there and it turned up promptly.
For a 1 night stay with easy transfer to and from airport would recommend.e

Nice hotel but not near the beaches

This hotel was good value based on the low price I paid . The only drawback for a holidaymaker is the fact that there are no beaches within walking distance and there is no pool in the hotel. Located in Vecindario this hotel is perhaps more for the businessman , or for car owners it would also be fine . It is a short bus ride to the airport. On the plus side the bus ride to Masopalomas, the large holiday resort in the south, takes under 30 mins. There are lots of buses to access most places but getting to know which bus to take and where to embark can be tricky. Outside the hotel at my end was very noisy with kids .The front of the hotel is onto a long pedestrianisation with shops either side . The breakfast buffet was marginally disappointing , but with only a handful of guests in there at a time I had to make allowances. Even so , there was cereal, yoghurt, boiled eggs , cold table , hot (bit greasy) eggs and bacon etc , rolls , juice ,fruit, coffee. There were some flies around , but I think that was just on the first morning . After that , there was a female attendant on guard .The room had good TV , useful fridge, bidet, good shower/bath but noisy overhead fan , no minibar and a hard bed.

well priced pleasant hotel.

hotel is close to airport 20euro taxi ride, although the street avenida canaria is closed to traffic half way along hotel web site says approach through street 1st of may number 129. bus stop name-doctoral,not vecindario, to go north to las palmas no 1 or weekdays no 8 bus or south playa del ingles other side of the street 10 min walk turning left when leaving hotel. buses are very cheap, taxis expensive about 1 euro per km, cost me 50 euros from las palmas back to hotel. i went to a resturant on the lower floor tasty interesting tapas in the large shopping centre 15 mins walk away centro commercial atlantico, also theres a cinema but probably only in spanish and a mix of shops. hotel also has free wifi just ask at reception for your code and a room safe 1.50 euros a day. i had breakfast included and it was worth it, the normal breakfast things and also eggs, sausage,potato,ham, salad. maybe you could stay in the north or south as buses stop running at around 10'30 pm and a taxi isnt cheap, but then you have a longer journey to vist the north and south. i didnt like around playa del ingles its made for tourism, abit fake. the locals live in las palmas and its pleasant, enjoyed science museum elder and palmitos park-plan ahead as only 3 buses a day. i picked up a bus timetable at san telmo bus station office

Room was OK and clean. Bed was confortable but not top quality. Free full internet (not just web) in every room is a big plus. Good speed but a bit bumpy at times. The doors don't isolate sound very well so there goes privacy (seems to be a common problem in Spain) but the hotel is quite silent overall. Pt: Hotel OK. Internet nos quartos e de graca. Pouca privacidade.

Lovely clean hotel, only a 2 star, but more like a 3 star. Convenient location in the centre of the town, great for shopping and getting around. It is situated on the main bus route. Bus stop straight opposite the entrance. Basic but nice breakfast. Wifi in hotel and you can hire a DVD player for only 3 euros a day. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I really enjoy staying there when visit the island.

Very good clean hotel - good for access to airport

Very nice and clean. We had a big spacious room and they kindly provided us with a kettle for our baby's bottles. Good breakfast with friendly staff. We parked in the basement car park and initially found it quite confusing finding the reception via the lift (which might just have been because we were tired). The lift buttons marked \"hotel\" didn't work and baffled us: we later found out that it was because you need a room key to get to those floors. The reception was actually on floor -1 if memory serves me correctly. Anyway, we got there in the end and enjoyed our brief stay.

This hotel in Vecindario is ideal if on business in the area and only 10mins drive from airport, or 25min bus ride. Hotel is on main road with all local facilities close to hand with regular bus to Las Palmas outside. Comfortable room but very basic but adequate buffet breakfast.

El hotel está bien con respecto al precio, la habitación estaba limpia y de mejor calidad de lo esperado, acceso a través de calle peatonal, pero tiene aparcamiento propio con entrada por detrás, la única pega es que la habitación individual proviene de la división de una doble , y es un poco pequeña, y las cosas no están bien situadas, por ejemplo, había que levantarse de la cama para encender o apagar las luces, pero en general, creo que merece tres estrellas en lugar de dos. El desayuno aceptable.

Al llegar tenia solo un ascensor de tres operativo, al dia siguiente al ir a bajar para desayunar tenía un cartel de “Averiado” asi que tuve que bajar 3 plantas, y luego subirlas para terminar de recoger e irme. Asi que tuve que volver a bajar 3 plantas ya con el equipaje. Decepcionante.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix. La chambre etait bien équipée et de bonne taille pour une seule personne. Il y avait un frigo. Je n' y suis restée qu'une seule nuit. Il y a des possibilités de manger dans les environs et le bus de/vers l'aéroport etait à quelques minutes de marche. Près de l'ascenseur jai vu des poubelles de recyclage (neanmoins un peu petites et pas dans la chambre).
La rue exterieure etait bruyante le soir et s'entendait dans la chambre.

Dog blev vi lidt triste over at erfare, at restaurantens tidligere 'mama' tilsyneladende er gået på pension. Men maden er fortsat god og billig, omend udvalget lidt mindre, end vi har været vant til. Sidstnævnte kan dog også skyldes årstiden.

Schon bei der Reception sehr guter Service. Sauberes schönes Zimmer mit gutem Bett. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffett (4 Euro) früh ab 0630 Uhr verfügbar. Gleich beim Hotel eine Einkaufs-Promenade, die autofrei ist. Am Abend ein Buffett für nur 8 Euro inklusive Wein oder sonstigem Getränk. Ich war selbst dort und habe es genossen. Leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. WLAN sehr gut verfügbar. Ich werde sicher wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

Personnels sympa mais ne veulent pas parler français. Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de produits industriels. Gros problème de l'isolation phonique (tres bruyant). Ma chambre donnait sur un patio ou tout le monde vient fumer. Donc pas possible d'ouvrir les rideaux et la fenetre... dommage.

Vacanze di Natale a gran canaria

Hotel in zona non panoramica ma pratica per gli spostamenti verso tutte le principali zone dell'isola (in auto ovviamente). Camere pulite, servizio buono, cibo in generale di buona qualità, fresco ed abbondante (in rapporto al costo di 8 euro a pets acqua e vino compresi). Solo una cosa chiedere possibilmente camere che non affacci o direttamente sulla piazza poiché di sera c'è un gran movimento (ovviamente ciò non dipende dall'hotel). In generale hotel certamente con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e consigliato, anche a famigli con bambini (le camere sono ampie). P. S. Cena di Natale, sempre a buffet, compreso lo spumante a 16 euro.

Wir haben eine Nacht dort verbracht, weil unser Flug sehr spät angekommen ist. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundliche. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und hat uns gut geschmeckt. Die Zufahrt zur Tiefgarage ist etwas schwierig zu finden, weil der Navi Probleme hatte mit den vielen Einbahnstrassen.

Always a nice Stay in Vecindario

Everything okay and very friendly Staff.
The Restaurant serves good food to very resonably Prices. And the Staff working there are very nice.
The Rooms are clean and very much okay. I have stayed on the Hotel 6 - 7 times. Vecindario is not filled up with Tourists and I think its nice to see daily life going on in a local spanish( Gran. Canarian ) City.

Albergo 2 stelle che ne vale almeno 3, pranzo e cena a buffet veramente economici e di buon livello, non lontano dal mare; sicuramente consigliato.

Il mio soggiorno in questo hotel era ottimo. Personale gentilissimo, camera accogliente, pulita, con mini frigorifero e aria condizionata.Bagno ben fornito. Per 8 eu colazione da regina e per lo stesso prezzo si può cenare. Pietanze buonissime. Peccato che il personale per la colazione non parli inglese. Ma è andato tutto bene anche così.
