This hotel is extremely overpriced..food is expensive and not even tasty...staff are not friendly...the main swimming pool is still shutdown...no entertainment..no acrivities..the elevator makes scary noises and the door slams on people getting in and out ... and i found a cockroach in my room 0834...not aceptable...they need to restore the hotel to where it is safe and pleasant for people to stay and then re-open it when its safe...i visited from Seattle in October 2025

Well - I had some issues checking in. Despite having a reservation, they didn't have me in the system. The attendant indicated that they are often receiving fraud from prepaid reservations. Well, I didn't prepay...I reserved to pay when arrived. I showed them the reservation, and it took some time to resolve the issue. My cousin from Mexico City was staying there also and they backed his brand-new car into an object in Valet...but they seem to be taking responsibility for that instance. I stayed there 40yrs ago. The property has been impacted by the hurricanes last year, and it didn't impact my stay there - since I was Acapulco to bury my mother and most of my activities were at my other cousins' home there or around town. We did find two cockroaches in the room - but it's open air and wasn't a annoyance. Breakfast was good, but Expedia says it was free and it was hardly free. Nor was it on my corrected reservation.

This place is still recovering from the hurricane but in good condition. It is under new ownership and there is a lot of work going on. The great staff makes up for any deficiencies. Two issues... there really isn't any place on property that serves dinner except a very average sushi place. Also it can be a bit noisy. in the end i had seven very pleasant days there.

I enjoyed my stay, it was quiet, relaxing. However, the food and drink were over priced. The property still not fully open. The food was quality on some itmes was very good. The drinks were as expensive as in the U.S. and were average. Pet fee was extremwly over priced. $50 dollars a night. In the U.S. some hotels charge between $75 and $150 for the entire stay. The beach is nice, though it is open sea. You need to be careful when swimming and not go to far in.

Such a beautiful hotel, the views and the rooms are amazing. The reason why I am giving this hotel 3-stars overall is bc the food is not it. Tried all restaurants and the only good one was the breakfast buffet at Chula Vista. Very pricey food and not good in all other restaurants on property. I would like to note however, the bartender at the bar inside the restaurant Beach was amazing and his drinks were delicious. Acapulco is beautiful so I will definitely go back but will look elsewhere.

Stayed at the Princess Mundo Imperial for a weekend trip, wanting to relax by awesome pools enjoying some cocktails. This resort did not disappoint. Our Princess tower room had ample space to accommodate my family of 4 and had perfectly working A/C, which is a must in Acapulco. It is super hot out and about and the pools, although spacious and convenient were little relief from the warm weather. The pool temp is a little too warm but that is to be expected given the hotness day and night in Acapulco.
The staff was all around excellent whether it was at the front desk, restaurants, taxi stand or poolside. We never felt lost and every member of the staff ensures your stay is as comfortable as can be. The only knock we had was hoping the restaurants were all open and available but they have certain days/hours when they are not open. There are also very limited options outside the hotel unless you want to take the walk by the golf course to the shopping center on the other side of the highway. Nevertheless, we made it work with the beachside palapa which was a nice way to spend the day sipping drinks and eating yummy shrimp cocktails.
All in all, we had a lovely trip and would recommend this resort to any family or couple looking for a couple of days to unwind and relax.

Check in and out was horrible. Learn how to queue - new railings in room on terrace are very frail - they will break - no water path on beach to avoid burning your feet - golf course is in terrible shape and garbage is all over the place - taxi cabs from property charged very high prices. Have been to property over 10 times over the course of years. Sad to see its decline.

El hotel estaba sobrepasado en ocupación y el personal no se daba abasto en el check in. Más de dos horas para tomar la habitación.
No había habitaciones disponibles por lo que al momento se adecuaron habitaciones en una torre nueva. Faltaban amenidades pero el personal muy amable asistió las necesidades. Las habitaciones asignadas muy bonitas ya que eran las nuevas ( o remodeladas) pero el edificio aún en remodelación. El elevador se descompuso.

El acceso a las instalaciones, muy eficiente con el personal en la caseta, luego te recibe de manera amable, el personal de valet parking, de ahí, un lobby con gran nivel de detalle, genial. El check in eficiente, en 10 minutos desde que ingresas a las instalaciones hasta que el personal con tu equipaje te está acompañando a tu habitación.
La habitación cumple, realmente, mi habitación 1412 la sentí vieja pero con mantenimiento al día y limpia, me hubiera gustado una mejor climatización pero en general puedes descansar y bañarte muy bien un 8.5/10. Para lo que es.
Con respecto a las instalaciones, todo muy bien a mi parecer, albercas, el servicio de barra en la alberca, el desayuno bufette, las áreas comunes 10, bueno, sólo el área de playa no fue para mi muy agradable.

La comida en general de todo el hotel es bastante mala. El restaurante Italiano il mulino es pésimo. Fui 2 veces en un mes al hotel y la comida exactamente igual de mala. La carne de pésima calidad. El personal en general muy amable aunque es notorio la falta de personal y sobre todo meseros que ahí en la parte de la alberca y playa con muy mal servicio, actitud y muy lento.

La alberca principal estaba fuera de servicio , es una problemática que no acepten efectivo para ninguna cosa , la oferta de comida es escasa salvo ciertos horarios , para las 11pm está prácticamente todo cerrado y a las 12 todo , un respeto japonés con la carta más pequeña que he visto , o comes arroz o arroz, realmente lo sacan adelante el buen trato de los empleados y la disposición dentro de su ámbito de apoyo
