Well I got kicked out because a long time ago I had a room in my name there and there was an idiot traveling with us who was a friend of a friend, that I already didn’t like. In the end i decided to leave no before going to the front desk and letting the general manager at the time know exactly what was going on with this guy who was totally wasted. I expressed that I was going to leave and not stay the night, didn’t want a refund, I wanted to leave and remove my name and liability/responsibility for the room. The GM and I are figuring things out GM when here comes the wasted douchebag starting crap with me in from of a crowd of people waiting to check in. The GM asked us both to leave. I left and hadn’t been back since. I was invited back a few moths later by the bar manager who noticed I wasn’t coming around anymore. He understood the situation. So I was staying for 2 nights this time. First night went great, then around 11am I went to get an additional room key…all good. At 1:30pm I get a call on the room phone. Some gal, a manager I presume, telling me I’m not allowed on the property and I will be refunded after I leave-didn’t happen! I asked why, was told because I had damaged property! That’s why I didn’t want my name on the room! I wanted to leave because of the idiot. And I told the GM that and he understood. I didn’t damage anything, always respected the resort, and have spent so many $1000s that you’d think they’d consider me a valued

The accessible room we had was big, spacious and actually accessible for my partner in a wheelchair. The staff gave us free water, dropped off a microwave at our room, and upgraded us when the room we first booked couldn't be accessed without stairs. Great hotel!

The only problem with the resort is that they do allow dogs and unfortunately there is dog poop on the lawns, two of the members of our party stepped in it. Kids can not play on the lawns due to this issue.

Lobby was impossible to find, even called the front desk and they couldn’t help! Then access to our room was impossible because again signage was missing! There was insufficient parking and water/ice maker in the building didn’t work properly. Definitely a case of lipstick on a pig. Wouldn’t come back.

Vibes of the location are amazing. It's cute and retro looking with a really great location. The front desk staff was friendly and there seemed to be ample parking. But that is where it ends. How this location gets away with charging SO MUCH money for a single night (2 night minimum during the summer) is wild.
Walls are SO thin, they provide you ear plugs in your room. Which is all good and fine if you can wear them, I can't. I could hear full complete conversations from neighbors and people coming and going through the exterior door all night long.
The curtains and blinds don't fully cover the window, so light from cars and the street shone into our room all night through these crevices. There is also a night light in the bathroom which is a great touch, until it's night and your room is extremely bright from it.
Light also shines in through the peep hole and under and around the room door from the interior hallway.
It's a great day-pass place, the pool looked amazing. But I would not be able to stay here again.

Room was clean, but it had a concrete floor without carpeting on most of it, which was cold at night for getting out of bed. Also, the tile flooring in the bathroom was slippery, and got worse when it got wet from the shower which happened with each use. The bed, however, was the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel and I slept soundly each night I was there.

Great, fun, spacious spot. Really great for pool people. Amazing gym facilities, like next-level. Fitness club in general is worth the price of a room. The hotel rooms have been lightly updated. The original vintage charm is in tact in the rooms, so don't expect totally modern. But we had a great time. The restaurant is excellent. Free parking. Love this place.

We stayed in fall season and it was not too crowded. Pool is great so as other amenities like pickleball court. Area is nicely maintained. The restaurant at the hotel has a great menu. I did appreciate the historical aspect of this place, it’s been running since 1960!

Staff were extremely courteous and management off the charts. We complained about the noise because they had a late night event that really disturbed our sleep and they waived a large fraction of our bill and even actively positioned security to help manage the situation.

Our room was the first room next to the front door and right on the parking lot. For the price of this Hilton, I was very disappointed. It was Halloween and never knew that there was going to be a costume party outside our door! Had to ask every day for towels. Housekeeping never cleaned our room. Was updated since built, but smells like it is still 1957. Not worth the price!

I expected much more for the price we paid for our room. Apparently the hotel sells many guest passes to the pool, so the place is overrun. The pool is incredibly crowded (including with kids, so this isn't a great place if you're having an adult vacation). They are understaffed, and customer service really suffers. It's a very cool spot and would be a great stay if they could get their act together to prioritize guest experience.

Customer service was lacking. They were “out” of multiple things food/drink wise throughout the entire weekend. Told without even a simple sorry. Just “we’re out of that”. A sorry would have gone a long way. For a facility that large that wants to be recognized for its outdoor space & pool area the hot tub is tiny & a total dud. Also so incredibly loud late on Friday night-into Saturday am. For the amount that they charge a night I can’t believe they don’t do better/more/try a little harder. Overall fairly disappointed. Despite having booked (and paid for) a King room for my wife and I, they over sold the hotel and stuck us in a room with two micro beds. And unlike Ricky and Lucy, we couldn't even push them together.
The hotel is fun and very Insta-riffic but pull back the sheets and most of it is old and not well maintained, as evidenced by the damaged walls and chipping paint, stained carpets and general lack of quality and care due a hotel in this price tier.
There's one restaurant and bar, which was fine, and one main pool, which is also fine for the families (read: kids).
Overall, Santa Rosa is a great town and the hotel has promise but sadly The Flamingo under-delivers.

We stayed five nights to visit family. We enjoyed many things about the hotel: spacious room, excellent on site restaurant, walking distance to nice shopping district. However, checking in and checking out was difficult because it can be hard to find parking near one’s room, there are no elevators, and no staff to help with luggage. Also, our room was directly above a storage room and each evening from 8-9 pm, the storage room doors slammed constantly as staff went in and out. The room literally shook! Fortunately all noise stopped early enough for a good nights sleep. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful pool.

This property is adorable. Very family friendly, but we went for a girls weekend so we could wine taste in Sebastopol and get a massage the next day, and then lay by the pool. I accomplished alil of that and would go back again but stay a little longer and do the Sunday drag brunch!!!

The staff at Flamingo were all wonderful. Great service and felt very welcomed. The pool is gorgeous! And love how you can order food and drinks right to your poolside lounger. Really lovely outdoor space and yummy restaurant too. The room was clean and fine, just would prefer no carpets as I always feel a hotel is cleanest without carpets. Especially when you allow dogs in. A very nice family stay, we will be back!

We had a great stay. Josh in the bar was so friendly and helped us discover more things to do in the area. The pool area could use more bussing and cleaning throughout the day. Flamingo flights was kinda lack luster as most places were closed on weekdays or needed advance reservations which I had asked about but no one had told us that beforehand. We ended up just paying for some wine tastings in the area.

Super delayed check-in. Didn’t get into our room until 5:30pm. Avoid Sundays with the DJ and too many people using the pool day passes. Monday was really nice with the calm pool experience we thought we would be getting. We were given lots of extra perks to make up for the delayed check-in on Sunday but we weren’t the only ones with room issues. Some rooms were double booked. Some rooms hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Lots of unhappy guests. Apparently Hilton has just recently taken it over (3 months ago) and it feels like they are understaffed all around—but very pleasant people working there. Lots of college kids working there for their summer job.
