Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room whilst very basic was clean. Shared amenities with only one toilet for the entire floor. Parking was very limited with first come first served. This hotel is budget friendly.

I was NOT ABLE to stay asi could not make the booking I had called the accommodation Monday morning to be told to contact EXPEDIA

I WENT INTO THE EXPEDIA SITE AND IT WOULD NOT LET ME CANCEL EVEN THO IT WAS 24 hours before hand

I then called the accommodation again to advise it wouldn’t let me cancel

The accommodation said contact Expedia again

With no luck I lost $125 dollars because EXPEDIA and the accomodation keep blaming each other .

Room was in need of some repairs as the one's that had been done were very rough. For example the front door handle was falling apart. The curtain rain was tide up with a zip tie amongst others. There is very limited parking. However the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This motel is something like out of a bad movie. Walking down the corridor to your room gave me the feeling like someone would jump out and grab me. The walls are thin and the person next door complained our kids were too noisy. The photos online do not give a true representation. I was not aware I’d have to use a shared bathroom and kitchen

Terrible room, the guy at front was friendly enough but quite gruff. The room looked nothing like the photos and the shared bathroom and showers were honestly on par with public park toilets. It was quite noisy but that's not what bothered me. I woke up in the middle of the night covered in bug bites all over my arms legs and even on my face. My wife and I left in the middle of the night to just wait for our flight at the airport. If you value a clean room don't stay here.

Please do not go to this property! Advance warning, i have bug bites from the bed and also a video of them as well as the stained sheets, or lack of! Its disgusting and filthy. Location excellent is all. Never again! In fact it should be banned from accommodation sites as it gives them a bad name for listing it! Honesty, its rated 3 stars (which we understood not to be that good) but i wouldn't give it a 1. Ring the council for inspection is my suggestion.

Common shared bathroom one shower one toilet. I was hoping this to be in our room. Common shared kitchen from speak with the chap that runs the place this was on round floor we were on the second level. I was told they only have a microwave to cook with. When we went to our room we checked the room out and found one of the bed very unstable I reported this to the chap he was almost at a point of blaming us for breaking the bed . All up we were not happy but having payed online through hotel.com we put up with it for the two nights.

For 10 rooms there was only ONE toilet and one bath. Some of the rooms are twin or double occupieds. Rooms only had bed as furniture. TV watching will crack you neck as you had to do it from your Bed.

Noice from road to next room mornings.. walk in the corridor to continous leaking taps and grinding blower.

Aweful smell in common areas with so called 10 parking slits where 4 been blocked by broken cars adds spice.

Fairly clean room.
Working silent AC

Reception.. that guy has been in the position for years and treat all like the same guys who walk in with a chick for quick session. He seems to have a tempered mind that all who come to the hotel try to cheat him and get an advantage..

The room was clean and the staff were great, very friendly. I had a great view of the river. When booking keep in mind, this is a budget hotel. The rooms are smaller than they look in the pictures. But has a fridge and a tv. There were no kitchen facilities. The bus stops are just across the road to take you to all areas of QLD. Albion park raceway is in its backyard.

The pet friendly room is located in the basement area which is fine but the noise from footsteps above is irritating when trying to sleep. The shower, well !!!, let's just say I got some steps in running around trying to get wet.

Nastiest place I’ve ever stayed in. I felt incredibly unsafe, definitely do not stay here as a female. The place is on one of the busiest streets, so the cars are very loud even when the windows are shut. One key unlocks both the front door and personal room which is uncomforting. The key barely works in the door. There’s only one bathroom stall and 2 showers, kept in horrible condition. Absolutely do not stay here. They should pay you to stay here and even then, a million $ wouldn’t be enough. Just spend a bit more money to stay somewhere nicer and don’t make the same mistake we did.

This would have to be the worst place i have ever stayed at. majorly run down and over due for refurbishment. Multiple cockroaches in the room. Window was screwed open so couldn't open or close it from road noise. Shared bathroom was a joke 1 toilet and 1 shower for potential entire floor of rooms and cleanliness well lets just say i didn't shower there and only used the toilet if needed to. From the moment you walk into reception you say to yourself what am i in for. $120 +/- for this room and i have stayed at better run down backpackers for less with better and cleaner facilities - Refer photos

TV -Didn't really work, remote unable to read with no instructions ended up just turning off.

Extra bedding/pillows etc as per sign on cupboard door empty

Location: Nothing really handy except for the BP across the road, next to main road so lots of road noise (unable to close window)

The property was filthy. The sheets had stains on them. The towels were torn and the Manager tried to make an excuse that it was okay because of how cheap the room was. The room was not cheap. It was the same price as any other room at a hotel this place should not be advertised as a hotel. It should be advertised as a. I don’t know whatever gross place this is. It has shared facilities which is advertised very small and those shared facilities are terrible. The water doesn’t drain from the showers. Didn’t even stay ended up leaving.

The rooms in this property did not match the pictures at all. I was embarrassed to have sent my staff there. There were cockroaches on the vanity and bed, cracked and partially repaired walls and the door lock was loose like someone had kicked it in. This should not be allowed to be rented out as accommodation, it was disgraceful!

the stay here was so bad that we left in the middle of the night. No blankets on the bed - told to use the reverse cycle air con as a heater and be satisfied with sheets only. TV not working - same as when I stayed here last time. On a very noisy junction and far too noisy with the flimsy curtains. Family upstairs jumping around noisily really late.
Never again.
I feel we should get a refund of our payment.

The position is unique, being right next to Brisbane River, so that's pleasant, though I had a budget room so no view of river from room. But a river ferry into town is just there, so very handy for town.

There isn't a guaranteed single park for all rooms, but the BP servo across Cooksley St is happy to take some overflow parking apparently (which I used).

In budget twin room on 1st floor the window & thin curtain does not keep out traffic noise from busy road below, but I used earplugs & it was fine.
Aircon worked fine on cool & warm.

I like that there are separate male & female toilets and showers thankfully. I hate unisex facilities!!

The single kitchen on the ground floor needs to be prettied up a bit. And there is only a microwave & air fryer - no stove. Fridge in kitchen was large, clean, & in good condition.

HEALTH WARNING! We wanted just a cheap place to stay for a festival in Brisbane but would probably rather have stayed in the portable loos at the festival. Just pay the extra 50 bucks to get a better unit, You would be better off parking on a street and sleeping in your car, would be safer and cleaner. I can’t fathom how this place is allowed to legally operate? The whole building should be demolished. The man who runs the place has anger issues and has zero people skills. Unnecessarily rude. Rooms look NOTHING like the photos, feel like I should have a health check after stepping into this place. ZERO STARS.

Okay in a pinch. But would not stay here again.
The air conditioner in our room was pretty terrible, so we opened it and ended up cleaning years worth of dust from it.
The bathroom is not especially clean with grime and dirt in the shower, roof, and walls.

The property manager was rude, they put me on a room different tomy booking and then tried to gas light me into believing it was my error.

The room had clearly had some kind of incident which required them to use a cheap air freshener, air conditioning blasting and windows wide open. There were damp patches on the floor where something had been clean up and the room stank.

Reluctantly booked due to short notice work trip and no availability elsewhere. The man (assuming owner) who greeted me was polite towards me, but shortly after entering my room I could hear him aggressively shouting outside my room at other guests. This happened another two times with different guests within the space of 4 hours. It didn’t leave me feeling particularly comfortable or safe and due to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities I was quite scared to leave the room. The room key also opens the entry door to building, I don’t know if this means your key can open other room doors, but this thought kept me awake most of the night. The building, room and shared spaces are very outdated and dirty. The pillows are lumpy and yellow, the fitted sheet was so thin I could see all the stains including blood on the mattress. I slept clothed and on top of towels. The fridge was old and smelly. The TV remote was sticky. The road noise was loud and room smelt overpoweringly sweet, but not in a good way. Absolutely NOT worth the rate paid. In hindsight I would have felt more comfortable sleeping in my car. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Terrible don’t book. A friend stayed the day before I was set to arrive and told me she found a cockroach in her room. I contacted Expedia right away to let them know the situation and that I couldn’t stay there and they attempted to contact the hotel for a resolution as there was no cancellation and they refused to refund my money. So I didn’t stay there, lost the money for the reservation and hand to pay for a different hotel.

This is the worst place I have ever encountered during all my travels. We walked in and then walked out. The towels looked dirty and not fit to use. The only bathroom was shared and dirty. The carpet in the room was dirty. The outside of the building smelt of urine and there was rubbish lying around. This place is a dump!
