I stay in the valley a lot & this is a really good option for those wanting to be in the heart of the action. Very clean, contactless check-in is easy (set everything up before arriving & it’s a breeze. Loved the roof top pool, spa & sauna. Traffic is pretty congested in peak times/ weekends so that’s my criticism.

Rambla@Berwick House provides apartment style accommodation. It is in a modern building centrally located in the Fortitude Valley entertainment area. Our 1Br was well appointed allowing for self catering. It was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the rooftop entertainment area with pool and spa. Travellers should be aware Rambla is digital self serve with no desk or concierge. Check-in and access is digital. You need to use Bounce or equivalent services if you have to leave bags post checkout. Fortitude Valley is an entertainment area so can be noisy, mainly on weekends. Overall we found this a nice place to stay for a short break and would stay again.

We have stayed at a Rambla property in Brisbane before- so knew what to expect. As with the last property the app used to enter the building/lift/apartment was hit and miss ( didnt work at all on my phone) but the pin code was brilliant and was a lot easier to use - we were there for 3 weeks so it was easy to use the code. The apartment itself was functional- we had one where the bedroom was divided off from the main room with sliding doors which was not the best feature as the doors had frosted glass so the room was never totally dark and didnt have its own window unlike the apartment we had last year.The roof top pool is lovely with 6 sunbeds and there is an infrared sauna.
The equipment in the apartment is pretty basic and for a weekend stay probably enough - there were only 4 hangers in the wardrobe- I did ask for more and was 3 more so we had to go to the supermarket and buy some.
We would stay there again as it is well positioned for the train station and also the city ferries - and walking to James street and the all tge local shops and cafes

Had a lovely stay at the Rambla and Berwick House fortatude valley Brisbane. We stayed for the whole month of February. Room was very clean. The room was perfect as we could cook our meals if didn't want to eat out. Was able to do washing. Lots of good lighting. Comfy bed. The staff were amazing always checking in to ask if wanted fresh towels. Which we needed. Good air conditioning as some days as got very hot for us. It was very quiet no noise at all we were on level 3 closer to the front of the Rambla and Berwick House. So couldn't hear anything apart from the odd siren at night for the emergency vehicles. But the rooms could do with a cheese toastie machine as we didn't have one. And need more umbrellas on the roof top pool area for shade as wanted to go up during the day to sit up there but couldn't as was too hot. So could only sit up there at night when it was cooler. Good location as well. And pool and spa was amazing.

The check in process at this hotel is shambolic. Don’t turn up early as they do not have a reception and there is nowhere to leave your luggage.
Until you receive an email shortly before the check in time at 2pm you cannot even gain access to the Rambla.
The room itself was spacious, clean and had a great washer/dryer but the place is soleless and quite depressing to stay at. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone who wanted a good overall experience beyond a good quality room.

we stayed at an apartment so we could was our clothes but washing machine didn’t work we had to gain access to another apartment every time we wanted to wash and go back to get our clothes very inconvenient. no clothes hangers in any wardrobes we didn’t pack any! codes were only given 1 minute before access and didn’t work had to get a new code. it was very inconvenient to put the code in every time. corridors smelt like dope morning noon and night not the best.

Second time we were given a dirty room.. housekeeper walked in on me without knocking.. and we were charged 200 dollars leaving a few items of garbage in the room. I tried to resolve it with the company but they were extremely rude and reluctant. Would never stay here again.

Clean, quiet, and peaceful, despite being surrounded by the bustle of Fortitude Valley below. The rooftop was sensational with it's pool, spa, chill out areas complete with beanbags, and amazing city skyline views. Digital access means not having to fumble around for a room key at the last minute, and the location is perfect! Everything you need within a 10 minute walk, including the train station should you want to venture further afield. Will definitely be back.

The properly is clean and the spa and pool were small but enough to enjoy the rooftop. Our room was over the top of a daycare and there was a child who was like a rooster qt 6am. We were out most of the days exploring so besides the wake up call every morning we just dealt with it. The digital key was easy to use and probably my preferred method. The location of the building was great to go into fortitude valley. The smoke alarm is super sensitive even cooking on low was a stress haha. Overall we enjoyed the stay and the daycare is not something the rambla are really responsible for, thats just life.

I had a great time overall here! I loved the space and everything was very clean!!! I came from overseas so it was a little frustrating when it was past the time I was able to check in and I never received a text with my digital key and room number. I had to find WIFI by walking down the street and I had to reach out to the hotel by text and email. With that said they did respond to me within an hour and sent my room number and key to me on WhatsApp.

We recently stayed in a 1 bedroom executive apartment for 3 nights mid week, the apartment itself was nice with everything we needed and I did like the digital key/check in but I feel there should of been a disclaimer of the noise. Our apartment was right next to a daycare centre and the kids were outside screaming from 7am, there was also construction going on in the building which was extremely loud, sounded like there was a jackhammer in our room from 7.30am. The room had absolutely no sound proofing. Pillows were too hard and high. I wouldn’t stay again

Really loved this place. Large, very clean incredibly comfortable and equipped apartment in perfect location walkable to pretty much everywhere and fantastic cafes, bars and shops nearby. Really easy self check in especially important given we land at midnight. Excellent hosts and communication and incredible rooftop area with pool where we swam even in winter. Highly recommend.

You need to take care of your own rubbish but there are easy rubbish shoots right outside your room. Someone before us left their rubbish in the form of leftovers in the fridge so it made it not feel totally clean. Beds are made and fresh towels daily.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. First, there's no concierge or on-site staff—you have to communicate via WhatsApp, and after 7 p.m., no one responds. You're basically left on your own.
The check-in process was overly complicated: a confusing mix of codes, virtual keys, and manual entry steps. Despite claims that every room has a physical key for convenience, I had to switch rooms twice and still didn’t receive one until the last day—after repeated requests.
The first room I was given was filthy—feces in the toilet, oily residue on the counters, and trash in the drawers. I was moved to another room, which was only marginally better. At that point, I just tolerated it.
Another serious issue: there’s no clear way to opt out of housekeeping. On two separate mornings, housekeeping entered my room unannounced—waking me up and ignoring basic privacy.
The only redeeming quality is the location. If you want to be in the middle of Fortitude Valley’s nightlife, it’s well situated. But that’s where the positives end. Poor service (Can't even store your luggage on departure day), a lack of cleanliness, and zero respect for guest privacy made this one of the worst stays I’ve had. No good if you want to get some sleep!! Would have been useful to have been told of building works going on and being woken at 7am by drilling. Also window in bedroom does not close so now 2am and sounds and feels like in the middle of a disco.

Never received the digital key at 2pm and had to follow it up with no easy way to contact Rambla. Our apartment was quite dirty and didn't seem to have been cleaned very well. Was also really noisy from the main road below us. Unfortunately our experience here seems quite different to other reviews so possibly a one off. The rooftop pool and spa were great and the location was close to James St and short walk to Howard Smith Wharf. Felt disappointed in our stay after reading much better reviews.

Stayed here before and it was great. This time was a shocker. Room was filthy and when I contacted support and sent them pictures, they told me they would arrange a clean for the next day. Asked for a new room, took them 3hours to get back to me.
Next day room was cleaned and still just as dirty. The snot on the wall I sent them the picture of was still there. Floors sticky and unmoped.

We loved the accommodation - it was fresh and new and in the middle of Fortitude Valley. It had everything we needed for a self contained relaxing stay. The area around it was not that flash with some interesting characters in the street but it was great to get to the bikeway and ride to the Breakfast Creek and have walking distance to shops and bars.
