Toilet was running when I got there. It was fixed, but the room itself was dingy. I asked for a single larger bed and instead got two twins despite being told that it would be one when it was requested ahead of time. I couldn’t stay because there also wasn’t laundry at all. Not actually an apartment unit that you’re renting as advertised in this listing. Zero noise cancelling in the room and could hear the highway all night despite wearing earplugs. Pillows were also stained. For these reasons, I had to leave after only one night, but accidentally left my charger and adapter, none of which were able to be recovered despite continuous efforts and going back the next day after realizing my mistake. Staff had stolen it and never emailed me back about it.

Hotel states child is free but you have to pay for a roll away bed, so in essence child is not free and that should change in their booking facility

Had some initial issue with booking as we had paid higher price for River view room but was put in a 1st unit overlooking road. Raised the issue with staff and we moved the following day to a much better quality high level unit with balcony city/river views. Staff were helpful in accepting and fixing issue.

Previous tenants trash was full in the kitchen bin along with dead fruit flys stuck to a container. Both airconditioning units were mouldy on the inside and had stickers from a service stating that the next service was due December of 2022. The overhead ceiling fan was caked with dust that can only accumulate over a period of many years. Found these issues late at night and management was only open to refund $50 and our extra $15 parking fee the next day. Judging by the ratings this place gets i am sure this room was an outlier but apparently this is a new owner/management team and they have been taken for a ride by the current cleaning manager because short term sloppy work like trash not taken out is one thing but long term hygiene issues is inexcusable as it takes years to happen and neglect. Having a score above 8 sounds pretty good for this place so i would assume most rooms are shipshape but this was certainly a surprise and something to look out for.

I thought it was great value for money. Just check which floor you are on when you collect your keys. Your room no is not a good indication. We had trouble finding our room because I hadn’t paid attention.

The entire place was falling to bits. The room had plastic covering the bathroom finishings, black mould in the room and bathroom, the 'balcony' was so dingey and the air conditioning unit was unusable due to the loud rattling it caused in the room.

The stay at this property was amazing. It situated at the most beautiful part of Brisbane, just next to the majestic Story Bridge and riverfront close by. Easy access to multiple restaurants, artisan French bakery, bus stop for city, riverboats. Ask for bridge facing higher floor to live like you are in dream seeing cityscape and the story bridge in front. The place feels expensive but book in advance to get competitive rates. Staff is kind and helpful.

Had to call for after hours check-in, but they waited until I was standing outside in the cold with 7 people waiting to ask for a copy of ID and credit card instead of the first time I called. Pictures showed water views, but we got a view of the street and buildings, so bait and switch. Decor is dated and the tile grout was dirty in the bathroom. Street was noisy at night.

A terrible experience. The apartments said I’d have a queen bed, said they had wifi, cable TV and ChromeCast options. But I was given two singles, they had no wifi, no cable or chromecast. I chose the apartments because of the amenities so extremely disappointing. Was then told they’d refund me the remaining nights if I cancelled - which I did - and they then refused my refund three days later. A very poor experience.

This is a very average hotel. My room was clearn, but I think it had not seen any maintenance since the 90s. Add to that there was no internet available, and when I asked the front desk why they jsut seid there were problems and it wouldn't be avaialble for our three day stay. No sorry, no offer of discount. That's what you get at hte bottom of the market I guess.

It was impossible to sleep well in the main bedroom. The blind needed for the patio doors out to the balcolny had been ripped off. Every morning we were woken to the blinding sunlight streaming in. We discovered on the first night it was because the aircon was broken. It dripped when we turned it on - it's why the blind had been taken down. So it was also boiling hot with the sun streaming in all day from sunrise. In particular, we were disappointed that as soon as the Easter holiday ended someone came up to attend to it first thing. Which means they already knew there was a problem before we arrived, and still gave us the apartment anyway. We could have been re-assigned, and if not, at least informed or offered a discount.

Bridgewater is well located with restaurants close by. The CBD is also walkable distance. The outside of the building plus the lifts and common areas ( hallways/ lobby) were 4 star standard and very clean, however, the unit I booked desperately needs renovation and I would only rate it 3 stars. While the unit was spacious with comfortable furnishings the carpet needs replacing as do the kitchen cabinets and cupboards throughout. The windows were dirty although this may have been due to TC Alfred affecting the cleaning schedule.

The room was totally refurbished, it had a fantastic view. We could still smell the new carpet, the kitchen was equipped and washer and dryer for clothes. The room was quiet amd the pool awesome to swim in. The staff accommodated us with complimentry parking. Close to the river and catching the city cat. I would definitely stay here again in Kangaroo point and at this accommodation.

Bridgewater apartments is in a great location for easy access to the city, and has a very nice pool.

Due to afterhours check in, they charged my credit card prior to arrival and added an additional Linen charge. I went to use the BBQ area to cook breakfast on our last morning, however it was locked and there is a $ charge for gas if you can get in.

Great stay with fabulous views of Story Bridge and river. Apartments could do with a Reno especially bathrooms which were quite old and mouldy. Perhaps new bedding/mattresses too. Other than that, we do recommend and will be happy to stay there again.

Apartment hadn't been cleaned before we checked in but once we notified them they had someone come up and clean it straight away. Unit was good for the money but needing a facelift place is starting to show it's age but close to everything and would stay again.

The older units are not as nice, have limited storage for longer stays and are generally not as comfortable.
