I personally have the Brisbane serval as my own special plqc for time out ect due to every facility you may need can be met, including smallest of things , bathrobes/ toothbrush/razor ect ect. The check in and out process was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and kind. The car park is hard to navigate and we had issues going in, because it uses a traffic light system but there were cars blocking the lanes so two cars couldn’t pass each other. We had to reverse out into oncoming traffic and then pull back in. The rooms were clean and you could tell they were cared for well, but they are pretty dated and in need of reno’s. The carpet in our room was patchy and pulled in many places, the appliances were very old. The A/C vents were pretty dusty. The bed was really comfy and clean. The pull out couch was fine for the kids but it would be uncomfortable for adults. The views from the balcony were beautiful and the pool was a nice addition. Overall we had a nice stay and would likely return.

We couldn’t have the air conditioning on due to the noise of it, like sleeping on a freight train. We asked if we could be moved, however we couldn’t. We then asked Saturday morning if someone could fix the air conditioning and nothing happened. Carpet in room is separated, door to fridge broken, just small things that have not been attended to. Disappointing for the price.

The cleaning isnt great and there are a few problems with the layout of the room e.g the plates in the kitchen were kept in the same cupboard as the bin. The location was great and staff were great. I just wouldnt stay here again until the rooms were refurbished and cleaning improved.

The sebel was great. Loved the location. Our one bedroom premium apartment was just big enough for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids under 13yrs. We walked from central station to our hotel with all the bags. First time in Brisbane and it was not an issue finding the hotel.. lots of meal options around the hotel that were cheaper then south bank. We walked to south bank nearly everyday which took about 20min eachway. New overbridge once open will cut down on the time. My kids loved the markerts .the apartment was fine for two nights but if staying long we would change to a two bedroom so the kids have a separate bed to the sofa bed in loving room. The premium room did say in hotel website that it came with apples and magazines .which we never received and we didn't have access to the on demand movies but as we were only there two nights it wasn't an issue. Just made me 2nd guess we were given the right grade of room. I did call reception to check on the night we arrived but he never called me back and my husband said since all other amenities were included it was most likely the right room. Even hotel restaurant was well priced for the area and it was always busy. The staff were friendly . On Sundays the Japanese shop few doors down has a Japanese market in the alley way. It's super cute and well worth a stop.there was construction site which our balcony overlooked but no work over weekend luckily but no mention of this on their website.Would stay again if no construction.

Great spot in the CBD for a long weekend away. Close to lots of great cafes and restaurants as well as the cinema. Easy walking distance to south bank and Fortitude Valley. Staff were always helpful and the unit was a good size. The shower over the bath isn’t ideal. The pool area was also good.

I stayed in a lovely 1-br suite. Both the couch and bed with very comfortable over a long period of use. The kitchenette was well appointed and incudes coffee mugs. It would be nice if a Nespresso machine (the parts can be washed in the dish washer) was included in addition to the tea option.

We waited hours just to be checked. The rooms weren’t ready in time. Our room had no hot water for 2/3 nights. When they eventually fixed it, it would only work at certain hours of the day meaning mornings are cold showers. The ducted air-conditioning system did not work in our room at all, we had to sleep 3 nights on top of all bedding because of the heat. (No fan in the room) We made everything known to staff multiple times and they failed to do anything about it and absolutely no mention of moving us to a suitable room despite the issues. Wait times can be forgiven but no hot water and no A/C or fans despite the cost and rating of this property is not ok. Think twice about this property.

There were cockroaches living inside the fridge door, seal and hinges.. Also I paid in cash when I got to sebel but was told I had to give them my card details just for security reasons and that no money would be deducted from my account by sebel and 3 days after already checking out of sebel they charged my account $300 even though I I only stayed one night which I paid for in cash!! My email regarding the situation hasn't had a response from them at all yet.

It was my wife's birthday during our stay and the hotel decorated the room with balloons, served champagne and a little cake. One very happy wife ! Thank you. The kids loved the heated swimming pool. If you're looking for hotel-apartments with kitchenettes and dishes for long duration stays in Brisbane, the Sebel is the only place in town that takes cleanliness seriously. I checked exhaustively. Take a good look at every major place online hotels are rated, and sort by date. All of the others are *rotting*.
The location is excellent. Their in-house cafe is lovely and a great place to start your day. The staff are courteous and accommodating and, again unlike the Sebel's \"competition\" in Brisbane as hotel-apartments with kitchenettes, offer round the clock desk-service, room service during their cafe's hours, and daily housekeeping.
I have three complaints:
1. The balconies lack furnishing, which is a shame. The city view rooms are excellent.
2. I was told the mini-bar was complementary. It is not. It is like any other mini-bar.
3. The fully paid/premiere $25 AUD a day internet is terrible. 200 kb/s with awful latency, not useful for anything but email and basic web browsing. The staff were happy to refund the $50 AUD I spent on this, so kudos to them.

I was VERY excited to stay at the sebel hotel, I have stayed in the area before and gotta coffee/breakfast at the Croft house and the hotel always looked very nice.
Unfortunately it did not meet the expectations of how it looked/felt. First and very frustrating is their Wi-Fi. You have to pay for the Wi-Fi and once you are on it, it is extremely, extremely slow! I'm talking late 90s early 2000s dial up speed. It goes in and out constantly and when I asked if they had other alternatives for Internet they said \"sometimes if the weather is bad it's not very good\" huh?? What!? I come here for work and I literally have to go across the street to the Starbucks to work and come back to my hotel because I can't even load emails, send emails, receive text messages, and makes it impossible to work. A lot of things are broken/does not function in the hotel
1. Elevator button broken and gets stuck
2. Toilet when you flush keeps running water and you need to jiggle the button until it stops flowing or it won't stop.
3. Internet slow and does not work (paying for it and its free at Starbucks and works 100x better)
4. Pool/spa heater broken and cannot use the pool
For the price of those hotel there is many, many places in Brisbane that is better, functionally, and a mor enjoyable stay.

Good central location, very clean and staff were great. One problem i had was internet. 50MB and 30 minutes is terrible in 2022. Youre lucky to be able to check your email with that amount of data.
