The pools that hugged the stunning curved building design meant I could move in and out of the sun as I pleased while remaining in the pool. I would like to suggest a designated over 18s pool so adults retreating from their children on their holiday can swim without young children jumping in and splashing them while they are trying to enjoy a cocktail and some quiet time. I also noted a very limited breakfast menu and no buffet option which typically offers a wide variety to choose from.

We loved the pool area. Would be great if the pool bar didn't open so late though (1pm midweek and 12pm weekends I think). The staff when we checked in didn't really know when it opened or the other restaurants so that was a bit of a let down. The keys on NYE also stopped working so it took two trips to reception and a bit of wasted time to get that sorted in the end. Aside from that all pretty great

The Star is amazing, the Receptionist was very nice and helpful, we left our car with the concierge, and the car was waiting for us next morning without us having to make a phone call very impressive, breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful and attentive, our room was amazing,clean with great Air conditioning so many features to take in on opening the door curtains opened and lights came on. Clean, amazing amenities superstar service at every point, only issue was the card access to the lifts which was very temperamental this affected ourselves and several other guests we meet, creating long frustrating lift rides as we tried to enter the level we wished to access, our room stunning and was quite high up, we could hear the traffic especially during peak hour, though it was not noticeable once the curtains were closed at night.
