The location is amazing. The hotel room was amazing. We did have some issues with check-in which was a little annoying. The most annoying thing though was the air con. Every 10 minutes the air con would make this really loud noise so it was impossible to sleep.

Loved our stay here! Had everything we needed for a fun family holiday. The location is perfect, lots of options for dinner including the surf club across the road which had a kids play area so we could relax and enjoy dinner. Beach was kid friendly - patrolled and the waves weren’t too big. Kids pool was lots of fun! The spa was genuinely hot. Our Toyota Prado fit easily in the carpark below. Would happily stay here again.

Disappointing! If only I could include photos!! The apartment room pictures online definitely didn’t match what we walked into. The room was below par, especially the bedroom. Patchy paint, cords hanging from bed head/bed side table along with it not being attached to the wall properly. The carpet was tattered, smoke detector exposed - functional? Who knows. No valance on the bed, ensemble base stained, fan was clunky and not working properly, bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly & only one plate in the whole apartment kitchen. The only thing going for it was the amazing view and location. I’ve paid less in Southbank for a nicer room! All in all, disappointing.

We arrived during the stated reception hours, but reception was closed. We phoned the number on the front door and were let into the building and guided through obtaining our key from the lock box, so it wasn't a problem. The apartment was a good size and clean. It had a long balcony, running the length of the apartment, which was great. The view over Brisbane City, the river and Southbank was amazing. We often sat out on the balcony just enjoying the view. We enjoyed our two night stay at this property and would stay again.

The property location was great for access to the private and children’s hospitals however it was listed as being air conditioned and only 1 of the rooms in our two bed apartment was air coned. The other room had a ceiling fan however we could not find the switch for it to be able to use it. On our last day we found the switch down near the floor behind one of the beds. It was very hot in that room.

The owner of apartment should be ashamed of themselves and the Property should not be leasing something at that $ that is embarrassing. One couple on pull out sofa bed with one night being max for them but that’s sofa bed standard. Pool was good, also with a great view. Balcony would feel a bit uneasy with kids due to wide openings on railing.

We loved the location and view from the apartment BUT…. The TV must be over 15 years old, seriously it needs to be replaced as the picture quality is very average when there is reception (which is poor on 1/4 channels). The lounge is terribly uncomfortable and must also be similar to the age of the TV and probably the cheapest lounge they could a couple of decades ago. No storage in shower for soap.
In whole the Apartment is very tired and sparsely furnished, if they don’t replace the old furniture and TV and give the Apartment some life then more poor reviews and less return customers will be evident. We won’t wait for that to happen.

Came for the views of the river, the city and the fireworks and was not disappointed. River Plaza is an icon and we loved our stay. Our family of six were really comfortable in the two bed, two bath apartment and could not get enough of the views from the open balcony. Tennis court and pool were an added bonus. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Will consider staying again for a special occasion.

If you’re looking for location - this is a great spot, overlooking the river and close to hospitals. But the appartment is dated, the pull out bed had a huge stain on the mattres, and was absolutely uncomfortable- not suitable for 2 kids and to sleep on. An additional charge of $140 for 2 nights was paid for 2 children, which gave us 2 flat sheets and 1 towel on the table. A used medicine cup in the cutlery drawer, wrappers left in the bin among the little things that amounted to this rating. Also- this building doesn’t have 2 x Queen beds, only 1x Queen bed and 2 single options.

Fantastic view across the river to the city! Woollies was a convenient 5 mins walking distance for groceries and Southbank 5-10mins. Easy access to City Cats for river transport. Apartment was roomy and tidy, but disappointing regarding worn dirty carpets, broken vertical drapes, noisy water hammer in bathroom and old worn sofa. There was a fan in the second bedroom but no controls to use it which meant sleeping with the balcony door open which was very noisy all night.

I stayed in Unit 25. It was filthly very filthy carpet old furntiure leaking taps blinds broken in bedroom could not block out the sun. The couch was all ripped and covered up with a blanket.
The bed was very uncomfortable. disgusting.
The receptionist was lovely but unfortunately units are individually owned. and owener refuses to recarpet and fix up problems. I would not let this person if I was in to let this unit. Bad for hotels.com

The property has a magic location overlooking the Maritine Museum and Goodwill bridge, The view is unbeatable.
The manager was very helpful and friendly.
The property was great value for money. As always what you pay is what you get. It is showing its age yet was clean and comfortable. Our only issue was that an adjacent room occupant decided to disobey the property's rule not to smoke on the balcony.
