Drop off and pick up of luggage did not allocate time for people with neurodiverse challenges to adjust and respond -staff pushed patrons to load fast - causing flow and security concerns for luggage content -we had organised - one stay with luggage and the other retrieve our vehicle form Wilson carpark where we had been redirected to - our plan was to - quickly stop to load our bags from reception as we attempted to do this unfortunately travel companion secured the ute cabin which meant I could not load the hand luggage while he retrieved the bags I couldn't carry in one action - two employees were significantly overzealous almost ferocious in their proactive assist - resulting in my laptop, phone, medication loaded into the unsecure tray of the 4X4 utility rather than being secured and easily accessible in the rear seat of the vehicle cabin - ahead of a 9 hour road trip last Friday morning - hastily ushered and bundled into the vehicle had the door shut behind me as - I tried to intervene to correct this mistake I was wished a Merry Christmas by male Accor staff no doubt all captured by CCTV this all happened in less than an approximate of three minutes -causing a very slight and reasonable delay for anyone also actioning similar - Please review processes to accommodate all reasonably - I do travel for business across NSW

Terrible room condition - windows were so filthy we couldnt see out of them. The bathroom mirror was black and chipped and the shower needed replacing. The lift had no floors showing and the other lift had the electronic display half taped on. The valet parking guy gave me the wrong car keys to top it off. Dismal experience. From the moment you drive in the easy parking to the Staff who welcome you then up to your room which is inviting and clean with a beautiful comfortable bed fantastic shower down to the wonderful dinner and drinks and breakfast at the Goldfinch. The only thing we missed unfortunately was the rooftop bar which was booked out for a party but a fantastic stay overall will be back.

This hotel was clean and nice, but trying too hard to be a nightlife spot. No laundry facilities on site. They recommended we lug our laundry to their other hotel across town. They should focus on their EXCELLENT breakfast and meeting spaces, not the bar scene. The hotel seemed a little snooty, maybe too high end for us, even though the room was just average.

This seems more of a business trip hotel than holiday hotel. It is surrounded by offices, but only a short walk to shops and about a 20 minute walk to South Bank. The bed was comfortable, and there is plenty of storage, but that’s about it. The rooms seem in need of some upgrades in terms of electrics, as we did have to move rooms in the middle of the night due to all the power in our room going out—we were told the breaker had flipped but only had one cell phone in charging and the AC going. The staff were quick to try to fix it but we ended up moving to another room where a few of the outlets didn’t work. The rooms in general were clean, but just felt a bit dingy like they need some overdue upgrades.

Felt the hotel was very tired. Breakfast on Sunday there were no ceramic mugs and when I asked a staff member they said there are no more you will have to use a takeaway mug …. Not good enough! Asked another if we could have dinner forks to eat our breakfast was looked at as if I was stupid … “what’s wrong with the one you have?” (It was a small dessert fork that they had set the table with). Dinner on Saturday night my entree was cold (seared scallops with roasted cauliflower - I would have thought this should have been hot! The hotel though is in a great position, is easy to get to if driving to Brisbane and we will stay there again. Are there rooms that have “walk in showers” - as one gets older stepping up and into a bath to shower is NOT good. Thank you.

The rooms were very tired with broken fixtures. The bathroom had a cracked sink, mould between the sink and the bench, the toilet seat was loose and moved when you sat on it, the toilet roll holder was falling off the wall, the shower had very poor patch work and no shelving. The hotel has moved to pump packs for soap etc and they aren’t refilled so ours ran out mid stay and wasn’t replaced by housekeeping.
Curtains in the rooms were broken and the control panel for the air conditioning was broken. The aircon also didn’t circulate in the room resulting in one bed being very hot and the other receiving all the cold air.
Hallways were dirty, plates and crockery in the buffet breakfast were unclean.
Often only one of the three lifts was “working” resulting in lengthy waits and the screens in the lift to show floor number either didn’t work at all or displayed wrong information.

Great location, but very dated. Bathroom was very shaby with sliding door that looked like it belonged in an old house not in a hotel. Valet parking adds unneccessary expense to a hotel of this moderate quality, and was also very slow. It took a long time to get our car at checkout.

This was not a clean property. Room and carpet were old and worn. Cleaning was not up to expectations. Worst part - Paid extra for an ocean view room. Was placed in a room on the first floor which basically had a view of the pool with a very minimal view of the ocean. Please don’t advertise ocean view for an extra cost if you’re not going to provide that to your visitors. Very disappointed.

The property was a great location and staff were friendly. Unfortunately the room had a few issues. We had to move from our original room due to the smell of damp and broken aircon. Also we believed the rooms had soundproofing per the advertising, we could hear people talking outside, doors slamming and the noise of the lifts. Not ideal after a long hall flight and wanting rest.

Overall the hotel was nice, although it feels like a place which used to be very nice and is just starting to fall off a bit. That being said the room was very good and the staff were helpful. The onsite restaurant and breakfast was nice, with a good variety. I was disappointed by the pool area - quite small with not a lot of space to lounge about.
