I have stayed at Spring Hill Mews many times over past 5years and I seen it go down hill due to limited maintenance. I stayed in Apartment 21 this time, the shower & bathroom basin dripped constantly and couldn't be turned off, the only way to stop the toilet leaking with a loud rumbling sound was to turn the inlet off, then back on when using it. My bed smelt dusty as if it had been prepared weeks ago and then not used. I doubt I will use Spring Hill Mews again, it is showing its age and lack of maintenance and has slipped from 3.5 star to 2 star. Its big bonus is it's free secure parking.

Not far walk from Roma station. Its a steep walk up and down the street. Not convenient if you have lots of luggages. Close to bus stops so can take the Spring Hill Loop free bus to Queen St mall. Overall property was clean. Not enough kitchen bench space for cooking. Staff were friendly and let us check in early and let us keep our luggage in the office after check out.

Unfortunately this place isn’t the greatest. It needs some work to spruce it up. The shower was dirty and basically just a dribble. The couch was also dirty and uncomfortable, the pillows were flat and also uncomfortable and the place was quite dusty. The TV also constantly kept cutting out and you had to log in again. Good location though.

Property overall was good but I did have a 2 bedroom apartment booked for the nite (booked over 4 mo this in advance) and when we rocked up I was told we couldn't have the 2 bedroom apartment I booked and had to have 2 seperate small rooms. Wasn't happy.

We have stayed at Spring Hill Mews before so thought we’d stay again. After booking abs paying online, I tried contacting by phone but 3 phone numbers were out of order and no response via website. Disappointed about that. It’s usually great, very comfy beds, clean and spacious but the lack of a tea towel this time wasn’t good.

The most disappointing aspects of this property were the mattress which was extremely uncomfortable and the sound insulation between floors. Being forced to listen to cries of passion from the couple upstairs in the middle of the night wasn't on our itinerary. Otherwise the property was well located to St Andrews Hospital and Brisbane CBD.

Don't be fooled by the photos on the internet. This facility doesn't look like those photos. The apartment was merely superficially clean. Mold/mildew in the bathroom shower grout, spider/cob webs behind the bathroom door, all vents were really cruddy/dirty - looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years, lamp shades were peeling. Two redeeming values: the apartment had a washer and dryer and the bed was comfortable.

I stayed in Unit 12 for 15 days for work reasons. Found the Unit smelling damp. Lots of cobwebs and heavy layers of dust everywhere. There were other guests in the building acting in a very noisy and rude manner. Tried to contact Reception, but they had closed early on 2 days.

A very comfortable and well located property just out of the city. Decor and appliances may not be on par with the newer city hotels but space, comfort and price was certainly above most hotels. Very quiet place to stay and met all expectations.

Springhill Mews is an excellent location for visiting Brisbane.Just a quick block or two to the City Hall plaza and the downtown area. Brisbane is my favourite city in Australia East and Australians the friendliest people.
The Manager, Peter is very accommodating and helpful with some issues I had when we first arrived. Although the apartment was older and needing some attention, it was inexpensive and served us well during our stay.

Spring Hills Mews, good if you are pretty fit
Very good apartment in a good area although, note the area, Spring Hil is quite a climb out of the city. The free loop bus makes this a lot easier but stops at 6pm and doesn't run at weekends.
The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The pool is smallish but clean. A steep walk but handy for Roma Parklands station. Not far, but again a hilly walk to the Central Station.

Quiet location close to city and transport
Have stayed here a number of times. Units are clean and spacious and have good facilities including standalone air conditioners in both the main living area and in the separate bedroom. Good for longer stays, the unit contained good cooking facilities, dish washer and washing machine. The Springhill establishment is within walking distance to the city and Roma Gardens. A free loop service bus route (between SH and the city) is available on weekdays if the rather steepish climb up from the city is not looked forward to.

We stayed at the Spring Hill Mews Apartments for 9 nights in peak season (late Dec to early Jan). Things we loved: the pool (salt filtered), the quiet (it was very, very quiet), the convenience (10 min walk to Brisbane CBD), the security & safety, secure car parking, free wi-fi, little home touches (placemats, coasters, nice cushions), being able to use the sofa bed in the lounge, table & chairs to eat meals, good shower pressure and never ran out of hot water, washing machine & dryer, a clothes rack (for drying wet clothes) and the apartment was roomy (we had a one bedroom). The onsite Managers were very helpful and could always assist with our queries.

The location was good, close to the bus to the city , unlimited internet , unfortunately lots of steep hills around the area to get to the city if you go over the weekend . Not happy in my first 24 hrs there , had problems with the internet, dusty screan doors, lights and used soap in the shower and a unstable towel rack that fell when I put the hand towel on it. Both I reported.

The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and more than happy to assist with any queries. The property has a convenient and secure car park and is less than a minutes stroll from your apartment. As a repeat guest, I have always found the linen fresh and clean, the apartments very clean and well maintained. The property is very close to the city and public transport. I highly recommend this property for good value, great location and professionalism of the staff.

Stayed here for 10 nights and found it to be very comfortable and quiet. The units set around a pool area are in a great location; just a ten minute walk to Queen Street and slightly more coming back as it is a bit of a climb back up the hill. The units are exceptional value for a city centre location and as a plus offer secure, free parking. Our unit had all the basics for self catering and staff are on hand during the day if you have any problems or queries. On the basis of our unit I would say some refurbishment is due soon but that wouldn’t put me off staying here again.
