The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was dirty and needed a really good clean. Shower screen was full of soap scum and kitchen bench was sticky. Mattresses were filthy. Pillow cases had yellow stains all over them.
No tea towel was provided to dry dishes, no hand towels or face washers.

Apartment ill equipped. Not enough cutlery, plates, drinkware Toilet didnt flush so manager advised us to put portable shower head in toilet to use as flush!!!!!!! Very unhygenic. Booking information said pool was closed, spoke to manager on day 3 and he said it had been open whole time. Lamps broken, fire alarms deactivated and hanging from roof. No response to any emails sent to hotel website. On last day did move us to another apartment with a toilet that worked and refunded our car park fees. Second apartment illequipped and had to ask for cutlery, crockery and glassware to be supplied.

I called ahead to see if we could arrive early as were going to a show, a lady said no problem.. When we arrive guy said not until 2pm, and we are all booked out.. But ended up upgrading us and getting us in as agreed.

The apartment (96, 2 bedroom) was very run down. Marks and dents on the walls, lots of stains on the carpet, the toilet flush was temperamental and completely stopped working by the last day of my stay. I understand that a lot of serviced apartments in Brisbane are in a similar poor maintenence state due to bad quality of building developments in the last 10 years. But at least the room should have been a bit more clean. There was dust on the bedside table and cigarette butts on the balcony floor when I arrived.

The pool, gym and spa were closed for maintenance, which was not mentioned in the Hotel.com ad. I only saw that after making the booking (in fine print).

The staff was attentive and kind when I complained about it and provided me with a kichen tea towel when I requested (as that wasn't in the standard cleaning pack).

Toilet inlet water was leaking, so floor had a puddle. 2nd bathroom sink was blocked so it could not be use. Dining table chairs were loose, felt very unsafe to sit on. One of the sofas is broken, when you sit on it the back comes off. Most kitchen utensils were useless, the fry pan was warped and unusable, there was no toaster as well. Carpet had some very unpleasant stain in the living area. There was holes on the wall. Looking out the window towards neighbour unit there was a lot of rubbish, it was not pleasant to see. Location is good but I would not stay there again. Looks like owners don’t value customers.

Lucky we only stayed for one night. Unfortunately this property is long overdue for a make over. The kitchen fold windows were broken, stains on the carpet, holes in the walls, lounges were worn out, dining room table chairs were wonky, curtains coming off of the railing, damaged window frames and parking was rather unorganized in the way with parking spots. It was fine for one night however I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s tired and in desperate need for some tlc. If you’re looking for more then one night and with a family, I would not recommend here.

The first room had very poor cleanliness. I saw dust about 1 cm thick on the curtains (not joking). There were three chairs in the room—two of them were wobbly, and one was even worse: the leg was already rotting. Anyone who sat on it would almost certainly fall when it broke apart. I wish I could share photos here.

A couple of amenities were also out of order, but I couldn’t change rooms because the hotel was fully booked. I'm not sure why they would release a room in such condition—it only damages their reputation.

Also, the service hours start at 9:00 am, but clearly, no one was working on time. They really need to improve their service.

Even though they gave us a better room on the second day, the shock from the first room was hard to forget.

Apartment was spacious but that’s about where the positives stop, needs some serious improvement.

There is a notice saying they have recently taken over a few months ago however basic things like the sheets having multiple stains, carpet also having stains, hair in the bed, damaged artworks left in the cupboards, fridge not working correctly.

Would avoid for now.

Went to check in to the room, to find a grubby little apartment that was completely unlike the Wotif Photos. One of the bedrooms had the curtain ripped off, with a sign taped to the window saying that a previous guest had damaged the curtain and they would get it fixed ASAP. I told them this room was unacceptable due to the grubbiness and the broken curtain.
They offered to move me to another room, which I accepted. This room was only slightly cleaner. There were only 3 chairs for our family of 4, of which 2 chairs were broken.
All the locks on bifold window in kitchen were broken, so we couldn’t secure the room, as our balcony was in reach of the pool level. The bifold had no blinds, so the extreme heat came right into the kitchen, meaning you couldn’t leave anything on the bench. The pool was completely ripped apart, even though it is advertised as having pool and gym. Resident said they have been unavailable for 4 years!!!
Cook top wouldn’t light, maintenance man said we needed to use a lighter to start it as the electric starters were all broken. All the labels have worn off on the oven, so you can’t use it, as you can’t see any of the settings. The kitchen utensil drawer was broken. You couldn’t sit anything on the coffee table as it looked like it would fall over, it was so wobbly.
The towel rail in the bathroom was completely broken off. Both toilets leaked onto the floor, where you needed to stand. Neither of the TV’s worked.

Do not stay here. The apartment we were in was awful. The dishwasher was out of order, and no manual dishwashing tools to actually wash the dishes - like a dishscrub, dishwashing liquid or a drying rack. Minimal furniture & none on the outside balcony. 3 forks and 1 dinner plate for 4 people - though on request more were supplied. The curtains didn't cover the window fully in the main room and were half hanging off the curtain rod. Carpet was worn and stained. The air conditioner had black mold all through it. The apartment smelled bad. Tiles in the bathroom were not clean. The toilet flush button was half broken. The pool which was the main reason we booked was a construction zone, and a resident said it hadn't been operational for 3 years. But the absolute worst thing was there were cockroaches in the apartment, including the bedrooms and one on the sheet in the main bed. Letters to guests explaining that the complex was under new management in 2025, but much of our horror stay was housekeeping issues. And an apartment like the one we stayed in should never have been offered for guests until it was in a decent state. Thankfully 2 nights only & if not prepaid would have left immediately. Horror show. Photos online false advertising & misleading. Wotif has been notified and were very apologetic to us - thank you Wotif for that.

The apartment we were given was half renovated and not finished. It had a very distinct sewrage smell, no towels were provided. Shelves in the fridge were broken, no cutlery holder in the dishwasher, caked and backed up laundry powder in washing machine. We were meant yo stay 2 nihhts, we stayed 1 and were promised a full refund but only got 1 nights refund. Do yourself a favour and dont go here, it was awful.

Rooms are average, you will most likely have inconsiderate upstair neighbours who will stomp in their rooms until ungodly hours of the night. Holes in walls, stains on carpets, other peoples hair in the wardrobe tracks. Not well maintained.

Alright if youre desperate for a night but definitely cheap for a reason.

The property is old and had a lot of damage, dents in walls, mould in the bathrooms. All the plates in the apartment were dirty and the lounge area had vertical blinds where every second blind was missing so it provided no privacy or shade. Staff were lovely and parking was very easy but would not stay again.

The front door deadbolt lock and guard were broken so had no way of securely locking the room aside from the key, which if anyone else had one they could enter at their own leisure. The windows did not close properly with most of them missing a handle on one side. The sliding door to the balcony also had a faulty lock. The kitchen had no trays so you are unable to use the oven but you wouldn’t want to anyway as it was filthy and would be smoking after turning it on from the build up of food inside. One bedroom had an air conditioner which was great but the other only had a ceiling fan that did not work well. Some of the lights in the kitchen dining did not work, and though there are fans in the bathrooms, neither of them actually worked. Some of the switches on the power points were broken which could be hazardous.
The staff down in reception were lovely, such a shame the room left a lot to be desired.

Reasonable 2 bed apartment, within waking distance of the CBD. Parking was provided inside the building. Instructions for entry, codes etc were sent by SMS. Apartment was on the older side but still quite comfortable. Good value for money.

Room was dirty, upon entry we where greeted by a terrible smell like smoke that filled the whole room.

Disappointment of no parking even though it it was listed as parking available.

Received a call the day before arriving to confirm booking. Reception was blunt and hung up before I could say goodbye. Walls had damage, holes from the door handles. Patches from previously being fixed, black marks and finger marks on the walls. Missing light fixtures and shower fixtures. Coat hangers and spare tiles left outside on the balcony. Carpet was clean but the damage makes the property less appealing. Neighbour was up all night playing board games on their balcony, right next to the main bedroom window. Property needs repairing and updating. Ok if you are on a strict budget.

I was given instructions to use the after hours check in even though reception was open and we were checking in at 2pm. That wouldn’t have been an issue but the directions they gave me did not mention which entry of the property to find the locked box and at the time I did not realise there were 2 entries; this led to a phone conversation where once again the communication was not clear and either the receptionist was unable to understand English overly well or did not know that there was the back entrance near the car park entry, which ever it was I ended up have to ask the maintainer people who happened to walk by if there was another enterance.
Once we were in the unit it was a nice size and it was clean but there were no batteries that worked in any of the remotes so we were unable to turn on the aircon or tv. The pool was also inaccessible which I was unaware and this was disappointing as I had chosen the complex so the kids could go swimming.

The main bathroom toilet behind the seat was not clean and in the other bathroom there was soap scum from old soap which hadn’t been cleaned and a towel behind the door from who ever had been there before us. The floor would have been softer than the beds. I know we didn’t pay much but you expected it to be clean and to be able to sleep with an ok mattress. The area it was in was great. Close to where we were going.

This property needs an update and correct signage. With free to air channels being the only option that majority don’t work either by picture it sound which is not good with children. We were not provided with the bedding arrangement we requested and only 1 room had aircon and with that morning sun my child was in an extremely hot room with a fan that made no difference. The reception hours advise 9-3 and we arrived at 2:30 to it closed having to call and wait over 10 minutes to be let in to the property with no parking to cater for the delay to check in. I do not recommend this property. For the price you pay there are so many better choices. The only thing going for it is the location. If I had if wanted to stay at a backpackers quality property with a 5star pricing…. I would have booked one. Really disappointing.

It was ok for our short term purposes. The room is in desperate need of maintenance- needs a fresh coat of paint, the a/c unit needs to be cleaned (mouldy) and the couch was filthy. But it was ok overall. A little bit of care and maintenance would go a long way here

Great apartment with all the amenities, it's also close to the city. Wasn't a fan of the walk up from the city to the apartments, but still good location. There is a bus that goes around Spring Loop (where Flynn Brisbane is located) but didn't have information on the bus schedule and pickup/drop off zones. will learn that next time. also would stay here again next time.

Although the communication with the remote reception was good I had many issues with this property. The TV did not work, the full kitchen had no cooking utensils and very limited odd crockery. Only one bedroom had airconditioning. One shower could not be used as the drains were completely blocked.The first impressions of the apartment was as if a long term tenant had moved out without a bond clean. The walls were grubby, every door with built up grime on the paintwork. Mouldy grout in the bathroom tiles. Blocked exhaust vents in the bathrooms. I was also given a key fir the wrong apartment so was inconveniently locked out for a very long time. This apartment desperately needs a repaint and new flooring. The pool was also closed in the middle of summer.

Sadly the property needs a major clean, it is smelly, filthy and in need of some deep cleaning. Our 2 bedroom apartment was booked and confirmed as a king & 2 singles, yet arrived at 9pm and found 2 kings. Emailed the property who did fix the beds the next day, but we had to move them and make them with what linen was there, revealing more filth under the bed. We booked it as close to St Andrew’s as our son was having heart surgery the next day.
The lounge and cushions smelt horrible, a/c was dirty, it is a great solid property so a decent quality clean and paint would have it looking great!

The room was in need of a clean, I rewashed all the plates and cutlery because they had been put back in the cupboard dirty. Most of the furniture had damage, kitchen chairs broken, lounge was really dirty as was the laundry and verandah which had a large cobweb large enoughto knit a scarf with. One of the two pillows on each side had been used and the case just turned inside out and put back on. The 9am to 2 or 3pm closes makes it difficult for check outs but the manager graciously came to assist after hours. The external front difficult for the managers to keep clean because the Flynn is in an awesome location and the street is well used, I interrupted a man urinating on the front door iin the corner, difficult conditions but the foyer was clean. We will stay again

Would not recommend staying here. Our room was absolutely filthy. Marks all over the coffee table from cups, all mirrors streaky and dirty, cutlery in drawer unwashed, stains on carpet and lounge, cigarette butts on balcony, marks and hand prints on cupboard doors walls and handles, bedding dirty and crinkled and had obviously not been changed since the last person slept in it, dust everywhere and very rundown condition The list could go on unfortunately. Went and addressed the issue with the man at the front desk and swapped to a different room. Unfortunately this room was still dirty and dusty and a stink coming from the ensuite drain but
better than the previous room. We had less that 20 hours in Brisbane so couldn’t waste anymore time swapping rooms or hotels. I have stayed in a lot of appointments and hotels in Brisbane and this has been by far the worst. I didn’t even use the shower it was that manky. Upon check out I was going to readdress the cleanliness but reception was shut. 0 out of 10

Do not be fooled by the high ratings of this property. The unit was dirty and worn down. The dishes were dirty, mould all throughout the air conditioner and on the carpet underneath the air con, stains on the matteesses and no covers, carpet and curtains were stained and filthy, bathroom still had dust and pubic hair on the sink and surrounds, door handles were broken, sliding door didnt open properly. The list goes on. There were 2 other families in the foyer complaining the day after we checked in. Their rooms were worse. The check in time was only for 1.5 hrs. After that we were expected to send a photo of our licence and credit card. We refused. Reception was never opened. We complained about the state of the room and were told that due to booking through wotif we couldnt get a refund or discount. I tried 5 x to contact WOTIF which was as hopeless as the apartment. The enquiries through wotif went straight to a bot. No reply.
The apartment was large and well located but that was it. I would NOT recommend this stay to anyone and will not be using wotif again.

This property was disgusting. There was urine all over both of the toilets and on the floor of both bathrooms. I asked to change rooms because there was pubic hair stuck to the toilet seat. All surfaces were absolutely filthy. Walls were dented and scuffed all over. They offerred me a differrent room which was slightly cleaner but still clearly dirty and run down. The young attendant was polite and agreed the condition was unacceptable but there were no other options. I have photographs that I would be happy to share upon request.

The apartment we stayed in was dirty and shouldn't have been let out, unclean and nearly every part of the apartment was broken or damaged, walls, floors, doors, bathrooms and kitchen. The advertising for this property is dishonest. The Wotif site has lost its credibility through association.

Location, friendly staff. Large unit for price. Nice balcony. Convenience store across road. \"30\" route circle bus stop very short walk away, takes U to CBD and any medical locations on Wickham Tce or back entrance of St Andrews War Memorial Hospital. Not so good: worn/tired condition. Air con in lounge area needed cleaning, mould visible. Window Servery in kitchen, window broken, wanted to blow open in wind. Kitchen: no cutting board or microwave safe containers. Property caretaker was efficient and helpful when neither tv would work, he came up immediately to sort. Turns out both remotes were broken, he had to replace both remotes. Also replaced blown bulb in ensuite bathroom when pointed out.

Since it changed from the Quest it's kinda gone down hill. It needs some renovations as there was paint missing from the walls near the elevator, marks on the walls in the room, it looks like the curtains needed a huge clean, they have issues with their keys and trying to get into your room, and no one manning the desk on the weekend which is strange for Brisbane on a weekend. But other than that the hotel was fairly clean and the room was spacious and in a great location.

Was not told on booking that pool was closed. This should have been stated in the booking add. No reception staff at all. The one gentleman who I had to call to check us in was nice though and quick to come down to check us in. Room itself was discussing. Chewing gum on wall, cigaret buts underneath couch cushions, 1 inch dust on ceiling fans. Curtains dusty and dirty, big stains on wall ect. The shower was covered head to toe in black mould to the point we didn’t feel comfortable to shower in it. Complementary shower gel ect all had broken seals as have clearly been used before. We didn’t expect 5 stars upon booking but did expect it to be clean which it was not! Tv also took us 40 minutes to tune and get working. Decent location to cbd, but would not stay again

Great location close to central station and the stadium.
Property needs a lot of work. Broken towel rail and toilet paper holder, shower head that doesn’t stay up so you have to hold it to shower properly.
Found dirty damp towels in the washing machine, and dirty cutlery in the dishwasher.
Overall the property was convenient but we will not stay again.

Great location, very good beds but shabby. Air conditioner needed cleaning and repair, hand towel rail falling off the wall, carpets dirty, no air con in bedrooms only noisy fans which did not cool the rooms, labels on dishwasher and stove rubbed off, pool and bbq not available, full ash tray left on balcony, broken off door handle at entrance to level 1 garage was unsafe.

The room wasn't cleaned properly as we found used body wash in one of the bathrooms. The rooms/hotel could do with some upkeep, but were good other than that. Location was good too. I had to pay for parking upon arrival which wasn't mentioned on the Lastminute room overview page that stated free onsite parking.
